In a recent revelation, Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, shed light on the operation of a portal by the FBI that was used to demand the censorship and suspension of Twitter (now called X) accounts. This portal auto-deleted communications after two weeks, says Musk, raising concerns about potential violations of the Freedom of Information Act.

The suspension demands were reportedly so broad that they inadvertently to the suspensions of a CNN journalist and a Canadian elected official. Musk highlighted that these censorship demands originated from various parts of the government, with a particular focus on a little-known agency within the State Department called the Global Engagement Center. This agency is reported to have demanded the suspension of over 250,000 accounts.
In 2023, a federal judge ruled that the Biden administration must stop communication with social media companies that encourage the suppression of free speech. The judge stated that the federal government’s actions on social media could be considered the most massive attack against free speech in U.S. history.

Lord God Heavenly Father, we pray for our nation that has been under assault from our enemy. Satan has engaged leaders in the government to erode one by one the rights established unto us as a nation under God when founded. There is a fierce attack on the first amendment, on all fronts. Churches were curtailed during COVID, conservative news outlets are being branded “misinformation,” and big media is censoring information before it can get to the readers and listeners. Other amendments in the Bill of Rights are under assault as well, e.g. the right to bear arms. We pray, therefore, for your giant presence to give boldness to godly government officials, lawyers, judges, journalists, influentical CEO’s, etc. , to fight back and prevent America from slipping underfoot to the erosion of our God-given rights. We pray for restoration; yea, we pray for more than that, revival across the land–that we could truly be called Your people, Your children. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
Father God most of us know what we share online is small potatoes for the DS but the fear angle continues to be played out in our spirits and we must STAND with our armor on to repel the fiery darts of our enemy. We pray for those on the front lines of this battle and are grateful for angelic assistance. We know the battle belongs to You and we pray that we do our part as best we know and can to be faithful to pray in the spirit when we lack words.
