I Prayed have prayed
Lord God, thank you for Justice Thomas and his commitment to truth and justice. Thank you for Justices Alito and Gorsuch. We pray for all Supreme Court justices to be led in wisdom and truth.
Reading Time: 9 minutes

Yesterday the Supreme Court declined to take up cases challenging the decision of a Pennsylvania state court to extend the ballot-receipt deadline in November’s election. Justice Thomas dissented with Justices Gorsuch and Alito in agreement that the Supreme Court should have taken these cases.  Justice Thomas eloquently describes the damage that is being done to confidence in the electoral process and election systems. Here is an excerpt of Justice Thomas’ dissent.

The Constitution gives to each state legislature authority to determine the “Manner” of federal elections. Art. I, §4, cl. 1; Art. II, §1, cl. 2. Yet both before and after the 2020 election, nonlegislative officials in various States took it upon themselves to set the rules instead. As a result, we received an unusually high number of petitions and emergency applications contesting those changes. The petitions here present a clear example. The Pennsylvania Legislature established an unambiguous deadline for receiving mail-in ballots: 8 p.m. on election day. Dissatisfied, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court extended that deadline by three days.

The court also ordered officials to count ballots received by the new deadline even if there was no evidence—such as a postmark—that the ballots were mailed by election day. That decision to rewrite the rules seems to have affected too few ballots to change the outcome of any federal election. But that may not be the case in the future. These cases provide us with an ideal opportunity to address just what authority nonlegislative officials have to set election rules, and to do so well before the next election cycle. The refusal to do so is inexplicable.

Like most States, Pennsylvania has a long history of limiting the use of mail-in ballots. But in October 2019, the Pennsylvania Legislature overhauled its election laws. Relevant here, it gave all voters the option of voting by mail, and it extended the deadline for officials to receive mail ballots by several days to 8 p.m. on election day. 2019 Pa. Leg. Serv. Act 2019–77. Then, in response to COVID–19, the legislature again amended the law but decided not to extend the receipt deadline further. See 2020 Pa. Leg. Serv. Act 2020–12. Displeased with that decision, the Pennsylvania Democratic Party sued in state court. It argued that the court could extend the deadline through a vague clause in the State Constitution providing, in relevant part, that “[e]lections shall be free and equal.” Art. I, §5. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed. On September 17, it held that this “free and equal” provision enabled the court to extend the deadline three days to accommodate concerns about postal delays. Petitioners promptly moved for emergency relief, filing an application for a stay on September 28. That application easily met our criteria for granting relief. See Hollingsworth v. Perry, 558 U. S. 183, 190 (2010) (per curiam).

Not only did parties on both sides agree that the issue warranted certiorari, but there also was no question that petitioners faced irreparable harm. (“‘[A]ny time a State is enjoined by a court from effectuating statutes enacted by representatives of its people, it suffers a form of irreparable injury’”). Petitioners further established a fair prospect of certiorari and reversal. For more than a century, this Court has recognized that the Constitution “operat[es] as a limitation upon the State in respect of any attempt to circumscribe the legislative power” to regulate federal electionsBecause the Federal Constitution, not state constitutions, gives state legislatures authority to regulate federal elections, petitioners presented a strong argument that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision violated the Constitution by overriding “the clearly expressed intent of the legislature.”

Despite petitioners’ strong showing that they were entitled to relief, we divided 4–4 and thus failed to act… Four days later, petitioners filed the first of these petitions and moved to expedite consideration so the Court could decide the merits before election day. But by that time, election day was just over a week away. So we denied the motion to expedite even though the question was of “national importance” and there was a “strong likelihood that the State Supreme Court decision violates the Federal Constitution.”

Now that the petitions are before us under the normal briefing schedule, I see no reason to avoid them. Indeed, the day after we denied petitioner’s motion to expedite in No. 20–542, the case became even more worthy of review.

The Eighth Circuit split from the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, granting a preliminary injunction against an attempt by the Minnesota Secretary of State to extend the legislature’s deadline to receive ballots by seven days. Carson v. Simon, 978 F. 3d 1051, 1059–1060, 1062 (2020). This divide on an issue of undisputed importance would justify certiorari in almost any case. That these cases concern federal elections only further heightens the need for review.

Elections are “of the most fundamental significance under our constitutional structure.” Through them, we exercise self-government. But elections enable self-governance only when they include processes that “giv[e] citizens (including the losing candidates and their supporters) confidence in the fairness of the election.”

Unclear rules threaten to undermine this system. They sow confusion and ultimately dampen confidence in the integrity and fairness of elections. To prevent confusion, we have thus repeatedly—although not as consistently as we should—blocked rule changes made by courts close to an election. An election system lacks clear rules when, as here, different officials dispute who has authority to set or change those rules. This kind of dispute brews confusion because voters may not know which rules to follow. Even worse, with more than one system of rules in place, competing candidates might each declare victory under different sets of rules.

We are fortunate that the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision to change the receipt deadline for mail-in ballots does not appear to have changed the outcome in any federal election. This Court ordered the county boards to segregate ballots received later than the deadline set by the legislature.  And none of the parties contend that those ballots made an outcome-determinative difference in any relevant federal election. But we may not be so lucky in the future. Indeed, a separate decision by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court may have already altered an election result. A different petition argues that after election day the Pennsylvania Supreme Court nullified the legislative requirement that voters write the date on mail-in ballots. According to public reports, one candidate for a state senate seat claimed victory under what she contended was the legislative rule that dates must be included on the ballots. A federal court noted that this candidate would win by 93 votes under that rule. A second candidate claimed victory under the contrary rule announced by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. He was seated.

That is not a prescription for confidence. Changing the rules in the middle of the game is bad enough. Such rule changes by officials who may lack authority to do so is even worse. When those changes alter election results, they can severely damage the electoral system on which our self-governance so heavily depends. If state officials have the authority they have claimed, we need to make it clear. If not, we need to put an end to this practice now before the consequences become catastrophic.

At first blush, it may seem reasonable to address this question when it next arises. After all, the 2020 election is now over, and the Pennsylvania Supreme Court’s decision was not outcome determinative for any federal election.

But whatever force that argument has in other contexts, it fails in the context of elections. For at least three reasons, the Judiciary is ill equipped to address problems—including those caused by improper rule changes—through postelection litigation.

First, postelection litigation is truncated by firm timelines. That is especially true for Presidential elections, which are governed by the Electoral Count Act, passed in 1887. That Act sets federal elections for the day after the first Monday in November—last year, November 3. Under a statutory safe-harbor provision, a State has about five weeks to address all disputes and make a “final determination” of electors if it wants that decision to “be conclusive.” §5. Last year’s deadline fell on December 8, and the Electoral College voted just six days later. Five to six weeks for judicial testing is difficult enough for straightforward cases. For factually complex cases, compressing discovery, testimony, and appeals into this timeline is virtually impossible.

Second, this timeframe imposes especially daunting constraints when combined with the expanded use of mail-in ballots. Voting by mail was traditionally limited to voters who had defined, well-documented reasons to be absent.

In recent years, however, many States have become more permissive, a trend greatly accelerated by COVID–19. In Pennsylvania, for example, mail-in ballots composed just 4% of ballots cast in 2018. But the legislature dramatically expanded the process in 2019, thereby increasing the mail-in ballots cast in 2020 to 38%.

This expansion impedes postelection judicial review because litigation about mail-in ballots is substantially more complicated. For one thing, as election administrators have long agreed, the risk of fraud is “vastly more prevalent” for mail-in ballots. Liptak, Error and Fraud at Issue as Absentee Voting Rises, N. Y. Times, Oct. 6, 2012. The reason is simple: “[A]bsentee voting replaces the oversight that exists at polling places with something akin to an honor system.”

Pennsylvania knows this well. Even before widespread absentee voting, a federal court had reversed the result of a state senate election in Philadelphia after finding that the supposedly prevailing candidate “conducted an illegal absentee ballot conspiracy and that the [election officials] covertly facilitated the scheme with the specific purpose of ensuring a victory for” that candidate. This problem is not unique to Pennsylvania, and it has not gone away.

Two years ago, a congressional election in North Carolina was thrown out in the face of evidence of tampering with absentee ballotsBecause fraud is more prevalent with mail-in ballots, increased use of those ballots raises the likelihood that courts will be asked to adjudicate questions that go to the heart of election confidence.

Fraud is not the only aspect of mail-in ballots that complicates postelection judicial review. Also relevant are the corresponding safeguards that States put in place to ameliorate that heightened risk of fraud. To balance the “strong interest” of ballot access with the “‘compelling interest in preserving the integrity of [the] election process,’” Purcell, 549 U. S., at 4, many States have expanded mail-in ballots but sought to deter fraud—and create mechanisms to detect it—by requiring voters to return ballots in signed, dated secrecy envelopes. Some States also require witness or notary signatures. Tallying these ballots tends to be more labor intensive, involves a high degree of subjective judgment (e.g., verifying signatures), and typically leads to a far higher rate of ballot challenges and rejections. Litigation over these ballots can require substantial discovery and labor-intensive fact review. In some cases, it might require sifting through hundreds of thousands or millions of ballots.

It also may require subjective judgment calls about the validity of thousands of ballots. Judicial review in this situation is difficult enough even when the rules are clear and the number of challenged ballots small. Adding a dispute about who can set or change the rules greatly exacerbates the problem.

Third, and perhaps most significant, postelection litigation sometimes forces courts to make policy decisions that they have no business making. For example, when an official has improperly changed the rules, but voters have already relied on that change, courts must choose between potentially disenfranchising a subset of voters and enforcing the election provisions—such as receipt deadlines—that the legislature believes are necessary for election integrity. That occurred last year. After a court wrongly altered South Carolina’s witness requirement for absentee ballots, this Court largely reinstated the original rule, but declined to apply it to ballots already cast. Settling rules well in advance of an election rather than relying on postelection litigation ensures that courts are not put in that untenable position.

In short, the postelection system of judicial review is at most suitable for garden-variety disputes. It generally cannot restore the state of affairs before an election. And it is often incapable of testing allegations of systemic maladministration, voter suppression, or fraud that go to the heart of public confidence in election results.

Because the judicial system is not well suited to address these kinds of questions in the short time period available immediately after an election, we ought to use available cases outside that truncated context to address these admittedly important questions. Here, we have the opportunity to do so almost two years before the next federal election cycle.

Our refusal to do so by hearing these cases is befuddling. There is a clear split on an issue of such great importance that both sides previously asked us to grant certiorari. And there is no dispute that the claim is sufficiently meritorious to warrant review. By voting to grant emergency relief in October, four Justices made clear that they think petitioners are likely to prevail. Despite pressing for review in October, respondents now ask us not to grant certiorari because they think the cases are moot. That argument fails.

The issue presented is capable of repetition, yet evades review. This exception to mootness, which the Court routinely invokes in election cases, “applies where (1) the challenged action is in its duration too short to be fully litigated prior to cessation or expiration, and (2) there is a reasonable expectation that the same complaining party will be subject to the same action again.”

Here, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court issued its decision about six weeks before the election, leaving little time for review in this Court. And there is a reasonable expectation that these petitioners—the State Republican Party and legislators—will again confront nonlegislative officials altering election rules. In fact, various petitions claim that no fewer than four other decisions of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court implicate the same issue. Future cases will arise as lower state courts apply those precedents to justify intervening in elections and changing the rules.

One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us. I respectfully dissent.

And here is a great quote from Justice Alito’s dissent: Now, the election is over, and there is no reason for refusing to decide the important question that these cases pose. . . .  A decision in
these cases would not have any implications regarding the 2020 election. But a decision would provide invaluable guidance for future elections.

What do you think? Has the Supreme Court failed us? Do we “deserve better and expect more of” the Supreme Court? Leave a comment . . .

Yes. I think Justice Thomas’ comments make sense. In light of the recent confusion with the voting, the problem should be addressed NOW. To wait is irresponsible. If you know your boat has a leak, why would you take it out on the water without fixing it?

If we were a “holy people”, as our founders were, we would not have the problems as we have today. We do expect more from our Supreme Court and would love to believe that they have wisdom and discernment to debate in issues as “Right or Wrong” basis. Obviously we no longer able to trust on the basis of “Right or Wrong”, leaving us on the fringes of “Whatever”! It is a sad day!

It appears Government no longer works for the people. The entire voting system is corrupted and needs to be made secure like in other countries, but both parties refuse to even address the topic of fraud. I think the only option left for the people to restore democracy is a revolution. But this will not happen until we are all become poor and hungry…..the state has become the enemy of the people.

The Supreme Court has Absolutely failed us, “We The People”! They have allowed for rampant voter fraud. I would rather stand in line for hours and have an honest election than allow mail in ballots with no verification of signatures or validity. No vote checkers were allowed in many instances and there were more votes than people!! Regardless of the candidates, the position of the Supreme Court is appalling. We deserve better than that! I have always believed that to be appointed to be a Supreme Court Justice, one had to have outstanding legal and moral values. It appears that some of you are no more than politicians who belong in the swamp. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

When the court succumbs to the dark force, our only hope is on God. When human justice system fails, only God’s Justice prevails. The challenge for me is how to take a moral stand while leading “peaceful and quiet” daily life. I feel the despair.

Has the Supreme Court failed us? Yes they have. By NOT hearing these cases they’ve told us it’s okay to have corruption and voter fraud in our elections. If these issues don’t get looked at and addressed, we may NEVER have a safe and secure election ever again. I understand that in the Texas case there were 18 states that signed on with Texas. 18 states! And the court said there was NO standing? How many states will it take for a case like that do have standing? Apparently, no number is going to be good enough for the court. It’s wrong.

This is a wonderful article. It explains in detail the failure of the the top court in the land to address the grievances of the GOP in PA and by extension the 74 million people who voted for Mr. Trump. The author says: “it’s inexplicable why the Supreme Court would not take this case”. Of course, it explainable. No courage. They are hired for a lifetime of service. We can’t fire them. They are NEVER up for re-election. No accountability to anyone, but themselves. One of the most important cases in my memory and they don’t have the courage and fortitude to at least listen to the attorneys arguing the case. SHAME!

Yes, most definitely. However if you have been paying attention, the current administration is trying to place more seats thus undermining American justice. That will be another nail in the coffin of truth and Liberty. Leave it to another time?? That is not justice. I do want to speak truth to Christians though. Are you shocked? Re read about Sodom and Gomorrah and read what was going on. How God utterly destroyed it. Then talks about the young nation that will receive even worse because if Sodom had the prophets the young nation has they would have repented.

“EQUAL JUSTICE UNDER LAW” – These words, written above the main entrance to the Supreme Court Building, express the ultimate responsibility of the Supreme Court of the United States. The Court is the highest tribunal in the Nation for all cases and controversies arising under the Constitution or the laws of the United States. As the final arbiter of the law, the Court is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under law and, thereby, also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution.

As we pray for our leaders, we need to keep in mind that God is the highest authority and our faith and trust, as believers, must be in Him alone. We need to be careful when saying that the Supreme Court “failed us” or “made an egregious error” when their decision doesn’t go the way we think it should or fits our definition of what is righteous and just. Whether we agree with their decisions or not is not as important as our trusting God to correct the injustices and wrongs that continue to oppress people, and cry out to God for His justice to be manifested in all levels of our judicial systems. Justice for “all” should be for “all people.” Justice Thomas may speak for 70M Americans on the election, but that is still not the majority of Americans. In this particular case, Justice Thomas was not in the majority of Supreme Court Justices but was able to present dissenting arguments as the Supreme Court allows all the Justices to do. I do hope that he also speaks out against the many other problems that existed in the past election such as the misinformation, lies, intimidation, and pressure on state and government officials to alter the election. These are also forms of injustice and should be identified as such because they have consequences as well.

the Supreme court has once again made an egregious error in judgement. Those who voted against taking the case have violated the trust and responsability given them when they were elected to serve. This is inexcusable. We must get this election procedure and integrity thereof settled now before any more election. Can there ever be another fair and just election national or locally?

I feel we have been completely ignored, deserted, failed, and BETRAYED us! I have no confidence whatsoever in the integrity of the other 6 justices at all of standing for the constitution of America. There are no words to express my sentiments of the supreme court at this time. Who are they??? they certainly have not performed their duty as Justices of the land. Are they petrified with fear are have they been bought out????I must stop with how I feel.
My gratitude goes to Justice Thomas, Justices Gorsuch and Alito, and especially Justice Thomas for him speaking out.
May God help us!

Father, it’s disheartening that those you raised up that have not come forth to fight this attack on our constitution and election process . And Father you are not caught off guard and we’ve prayed for you to expose All corruption, fraud, dishonesty, and that’s what your doing! But I pray this over those in the SCOTUS, especially Amy Coney in 1 Peter 3:13 the (passion translation)
why would anyone harm you if your passionate and devoted to pleading God? But even if you happen to suffer for doing what is right , you will have the joyful experience of the blessing of God! And don’t be intimidated or terrified by those who would terrify you but give reverent honor in your hearts to the Anointed One and treat Him as the holy Master of your lives. God I believe you will save America but we have a role in it and you are requiring your church to lead the charge in repentance. Personally and for the sins of this nation ! Father we need JESUS snd Holy Spirit to show up and revive our nation ! I appeal to Heaven , you and you alone are our only hope! It’s not in a party , court , president Only you Lord Jesus! Your name is above every other name! Come Lord Come in Jesus name amen !

I am so thankful for Justice Thomas Lord and for the other two who stood for constitutional truth!!! As for the others who did not come forth…Lord…you know the reasons why and we pray that their hearts will be pierced and that they will come forth in standing up for the Constitution and listening to the evidence that has come forth! Change their minds, thoughts, hearts and may they act and commit to the Oath they have taken and for this nation and its citizens!!! I pray for a hedge of protection over the three judges who were willing to listen to the evidence (which is overwhelming) and I pray for your blood to be poured upon them Lord. May the others be convicted for what they have done and may they have a change of heart Lord… ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH YOU FATHER AND LORD…ALL THINGS!!! Send Angels to minister to them in their dreams… whatever you need to do Lord… DO IT LORD!!! WE PRAY IN YOUR MIGHTY MATCHLESS NAME… YESHUA!!! AMEN!!!

Thank You, Lord for the three brave justices, Thomas, Alito, and Gorsuch, who bravely stood up for the US Constitution and for righteousness. Lord I ask You to protect them. I pray for their safety, and that you will thwart any form of reprisal that evil forces would attempt. Please
Reveal and expose unseen evil, including threats, blackmail, etc.
Remove from office anyone who would allow such threats to
Influence their decisions,
Replace them with brave and righteous judges who will uphold the US Constitution
And thank you Lord that we look to You for our safety, and not to man. Thank you that you are reliable and trustworthy.

Yes, this is very disturbing. In refusing to even hear these cases, they are refusing to address the very issues that are at the core of election integrity, which were clearly violated during this past election, and allowing these issues to continue to fester and become malignant. The freedom of choice that we have in this country, that has set us apart from so many others, are clearly being targeted and being interfered with in multiple ways and to do nothing to look at these things and issue clear rulings is very unsettling and disturbing for the future of our nation. That over 70 million Americans voices are just being silenced because no one wants to take the time to hear them or they are not “politically correct”, or whatever reason, is doing a great disservice to our nation and makes us wonder. It is a great injustice that is being done here, and yes, too much like the Dred Scott decision and others that brought great harm to so many in our nation.

I was stunned to read that the Supreme Court declined to look into the election activities in PA given all the evidence of misdoing! Praise God for those three who dissented. Justice Roberts consistently votes with the liberal judges, which is pathetic, because that was not who he represented himself to be before he was seated. We need to pray for this court, that they would do justice and righteousness on behalf of this nation.

Yes the whole system from Judicial, Legislative, Executive branchesfailed 75 million voters by not addressing this election. We saw the evidence. From 7 states stopping counting on election night at same time to Trump wins to Trump loses , the numbers not matching, from 100s of affidavits from witnesses telling what they saw, from dead voters, and underaged voters….there is no reason at all that the Justices should have denied these cases. Sad, disappointing and at some point all involved will have to stand before the Lord.
Meanwhile I pray those who could have saved our country from the steal of the century will be saved, repent and truth will prevail. Afterall there is Absolute truth whether the enemy believes it or not!

I believe the Supreme Court has failed in their duties. A justice person should not be partisan; therefore a ruling should be made. Three out of nine Justices were willing to stand for “we the people!” Outrageous and very concerning! If ever Christians should stand up and speak out, it is NOW!! We cannot afford to continue to be silent and uninvolved. “Not to speak, is to speak.” Silence is NOT “golden,” as the old saying goes! In fact, it could be that we have been quiet and silent for way too long. We have to get busy, and fast, and get on school boards, zoning commissions, run for local, state and federal offices, etc., etc. Pastors need to lead and inform their congregations as never before, yes, pastors! Christians must get involved. We have allowed politics to be taken over by people who don’t practice Christian values, though they say they are Christians. Good, godly, smart, and courageous, people are desperately needed to “get political” and run for office. Too many Christians are unwilling to get involved and that’s a shame, because we have people who are talented, smart, and more than able to lead. Wouldn’t you rather have a voice representing you, not the globalists, elitists, and controllers? All it takes for evil to prevail is for good people to do nothing! I know people are tired but we have to wake up for our children and grandchildrens sake! Frankly, I am deeply concerned that since the other 6 Justices refused to address the obvious election problems that occurred in the November election, it is possible we have waited too late. I pray for God’s mercy and divine intervention. We must do our part though. Pray as though everything depends on God and work as though everything depends on us.

We as citizens rely on our Supreme Court to uphold justice and defuse confusion by settling matters brought before it for the future. How our elections are conducted is no exception.

I have a very difficult time understanding every legal measure presented to the Supreme Court, legislatures, governors, attorney generals, etc., to investigate the 2020 elections. Their refusal to allow investigations speaks volumes to me, and many American citizens; that indeed President Trump won the elections.
Why do these authority figures reject hearing lawyers present their side? What are they afraid of? Are they being threatened, bribed, whatever. Do they not realize God has placed them in this position, and they are responsible to Him, and the people of America?
What will happen to America due to their choices they have made.

Through it all, I resort to prayer, appealing to the highest Authority; Jesus Christ, Lord of all.
Where man fails, Jesus never! Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that He is Lord.
May Your people draw near to You, crying out to You day and night
We are desperate to hear You. Desperate for You to intervene amidst the corruption, the darkness. To lead us on paths of righteousness for Your Name sake.

Thank You that You hear our voices, and bottle our tears. We depend on You! We wait on You! We hope in You, and those that hope in You will not be disappointed. We ask You Lord to save America. To save the children!! To reveal to me/us where I/we need action to our prayers. Give me/us great courage to STAND with You no matter the cost.
I/we surrender all, I surrender all. All to thee my blessed Savior, I surrender all.
In them name of Jesus.
Amen

The Supreme Court justices should know the law better than anyone. Maybe they should install Judge Jeanine Pirro who never lost a case? My husband said to me, “Didn’t anyone pay attention in governement class?” The way we are seeing corruption in the Congress and in the courts. I think the actors are trying to have an audience. Pray for Donald J. Trump please.

The LORD is the Supreme Judge and He is displeased with the lack of justice, morality, logic and courage in this current Supreme Court, especially the Chief Justice. He shall bring forth TRUE JUSTICE on these people. May He break their hearts and open their eyes. May they have difficulty sleeping each night by the weight of their deliberate decisions on their consciences. May they see the deceit in their own eyes each time they look into a mirror. Eventually the unjust judge will find in favor of the righteous widow from being wearied by her continual outcry!

There is a possibility that God is letting us see the corruption at the Supreme Court level. There could be blackmailing, and all sorts of threatening tactics being done for political reasons to the Supreme Court judges. God is our judge and the judges will be judged by the the judge over the Supreme Court who is the Lord of Lords. I am praying for the judges who are suppose to uphold our constitution and also act with justice for righteous laws for them to have a face to face meeting with the Lord Jesus and for the destiny purposed to be done through the Supreme Court. Root out all corruption. I decree exposure and truth will prevail. What ever can be shaken will be shaken. Repentance and turning to God is the answer for us all. Help people to seek your will above anything else in these challenging times. Jesus loves us all and wants to work with all of us for his wonderful purposes. There is none like our LOrd Jesus Christ. I decree salvation over America and softening of heart.

I do believe God will bring lots of justice in this seasosn as well. Our passionate prayer is what God wants of us even though we do not understand the complex corruption structures. I decree here is a harmony of prayer from the ekklesia for the destiny purposes of America. Dutch Sheets calls it synargy of the ages and we are partnering with the cloud of witnesses, the watchmen prophets, the angels, the Holy Spirit, the government of heaven and the courts of heaven. Thank you Jesus for the victory and give up patience to be consistent in this battle.

WOW! I really thought as most conservatives did, that Amy Coney Barrett and Brett Cavanaugh were going to an excellent choice for Supreme Court Justices, boy was I wrong.

They are nothing but total sellouts, having no backbone whatsoever. Spineless Jellyfish.

Believe me, I was appalled at the treatment of these 2 Justices by the Democrats during their confirmation hearings, but maybe the Republicans should have grilled them with very, hard, tough questions, to get an idea if they could pass the smell test.

It seems these 2 fold very easily under pressure, and have no courage whatsoever.

This is one time that I agree with the Democrats. It would have been better to let the leftist Democrats have their way with confirmation of these 2. They should have never been confirmed.

Both of these were the wrong choices. They have made a mockery of the Supreme Court, and they are a National Disgrace.

Wolves in Sheep’s Clothing.

Liberals in Conservative Clothing.

Extremely disappointed in the Supreme Court. I thought at least they would stand for justice. Many thanks to Justices Thomas, Alito & Gorsuch for standing firm. Justice Thomas’ comments make sense. This is not supposed to be partisan but is supposed to be based on the facts of the law. I will keep praying for their discernment and that they will see their mistakes and correct them. But we do have to remember, our faith is to be place on God and his plans not on man and their plans.

I think there shouldn’t be anymore mail-in-votes. People should one in person. The ones who can’t vote—there should be one Republican and one Democrat to deliver them. Before the voter votes the representative should initial on top right hand counter and democrats
should initial on the left hand counter, they should have business cards to each person they see, also they should have there signature and initial on the business card. Also there should be a notary stamp on them. If there is no notary stamp on them they should not count.
Where the voter signs, there should be 4 signature on each one of where you sign onthe voter card. The one who has to deliver those to each voters card in a Representative of each county. Then deliver them to capital building in each state.

So much to say but so much of it is bitterness toward the 3 that I believe with all my heart our LORD placed there for ‘such a time as this’, all 3 acting as if their oaths were jokes. This Supreme Court has abdicated it’s responsibility to rule on legal matters that affect the state disputes and have failed to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Now states will be free to ignore the Constitution any way they see fit because this Supreme Court is afraid of politicians and the media. They are gutless and lied when they took their oaths to defend the Constitution when they testified at their confirmation hearings and when they took their oaths of office. What good are they now?

“But if salt loses its savor, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be THROWN OUT and trampled by men.” (Matt 5:13) Nuff said. I think we KNOW what Jesus would do! “For everyone to whom much is given, of him shall much be required.” (Luke 12:48).

Also with regards to Justice Thomas, Alito and Gorusch, I can hear Jesus saying “Well done good and faithful servants!” They have shown courage, integrity, faithfulness to the high position for which they have TAKEN AN OATH ON A BIBLE to support the US Constitution. Where is the integrity, faithfulness to duty and sense of patriotism with the other judges? Do you hear that….it’s the sound of crickets. 🙁

I guess what baffles me the most in this situation is that there is so much evidence of voter fraud in the November 3rd election.
Why the Supreme Court doesn’t want to investigate this from beginning to end, is baffling. If this isn’t settled then there is no
future election that could ever be trusted. This election wasn’t between President Trump and Joe Biden, but rather it’s showing the American people that we can’t just vote anymore for the candidate of our choosing, but that other factions come into play, to make sure it comes out the way certain groups want it to. What has become of our America the Beautiful where freedom reigns and our
country can remain a shining light to the world? Although I am saddened by this situation, my trust will remain focused on an All Just God who is in complete control and is about to make this come out right and true and honest and trustworthy.

It concerns me deeply that only 3 justices voted to hear the case, and that the rest apparently have decided that they had little or no interest. Our great American traditions and foundations are being
savagely attacked as never before, including “In God We Trust”.
But of much more concern to me is that the American people are in danger of the Lord’s judgment on our nation, not only for the obvious sins of the Left, but also for the sins of all who engage in the greatest sin of all – idolatry – namely the replacement and worship of God with anything else. Idolatry covers ALL the other sins, and is the refutation of the 1st Commandment: You shall worship the Lord your God and Him only…you shall have NO other gods before me.
Murder (including the destruction of millions of innocents every year – the American Holocaust)…sexual perversion, materialism, adultery, criminality, disobedience to authority and so many other sins are all evidence of this.
It is instructive to take note that the Old Testament makes exceedingly clear the consequences of these sins, and the many severe judgments suffered by the nation of Israel because of their
disobedience. All people of faith need to take note, and the nation as a whole assuredly does.

I appreciate how Thomas, Neil G. and Samuel A.stand for what is right! They have a lot of common sense and wisdom. I am soooo sorry for the lack of integrity the rest of the court have revealed about themselves.
Why could they not have at least reviewed it?
It could be they received death threats and are afraid.
They are hurting Americans and they have asked their own children to walk down a dangerous slippery slope! They will wake up to reality and truth, when it is too late!!! When we are in the middle of a civil war, and their own children are bleeding and cold out on the street then they are going to regret standing up for America!when it is too late.
What is there to do? I don’t give up hope that God can redeem this, but I also believe that it could get ugly for a while.
I see where Americans are angry and really should we let communists walk all over us?
A passive behavior is not healthy either. Love is to protect and we must protect this nation. I wish no harm or evil to any one….instead I have prayed more than ever before, I have wept and wept, God forgive them, God strike down our enemy , all this evil. Open the eyes of the deceived and call people in Government to repentance. In Jesus name turn this around and restore what the enemy has meant for evil, we declare you have grace and power to heal. God forgive us for our sins! Teach us how to pray and not lose hope.
Your word promises you are our deliverer, our defender!
Come as a lion of Judah!
Church arise and sing a new song of deliverance!

The Supreme Court is not the only branch that has let us down. The executive branch, well, we see what Biden is doing. The legislators stopped doing their jobs a number of years back. They legislative branch is the branch that makes and over-sees law-making. They have turned the laws over to the court system. Basically, the House and Senate don’t represent us any more. They need a class in Representation 101. When we are not represented we are no longer a Republic. Looks to me that we are headed toward a dictatorship. Yes, His is the one in control, always over the rulers and Kings of the Earth. He will destroy them and set things right, however He chooses to do it. Righteousness & Justice are the foundation of God’s throne Lovingkindness & truth go before Him. What if God is bringing us, His church, to the end of our own understanding & worldly wisdom so that He might display His wisdom & excellence. I believe that we are on the verge of a move of God that will overtake the earth, but our, the church’s, foundations are being shaken to reveal what our hope is built upon. Everything built on the Rock will withstand the onslaught. Psalm 11:3 says “if the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do? v. 4 tells us that God sees what’s going on & that His eyelids are testing us. In other words when it seems like He is not watching, it is to test the righteous & the wicked. God can change things quickly, but I believe that in His mercy, He won’t let us go higher until the righteous allow the Lord to deal with our foundations. May God open up our eyes to the things that undermine us in our own foundations. Anything that is not built upon the Rock, because He wants to take us higher & display His glory in the earth. Judgement does begin with the people of God, not with the nation.

It is clear from Thomas’ dissent, that the Supreme Court and its judges are in need of our prayers. We must take up the cause to daily lift them before the Father and ask for God’s intervention for this nation. I feel that there is much confusion in the court right now which makes it even more critical that our prayers for them are being made on a daily basis. I trust that my God knows and sees the needs that our nation has right now and I hold to the fact that my God said He would never leave us or forsake so to that end I continue to pray and believe that God will see us through. I also must remember that God’s timing is always the best and He is the God of 11:59, He’s never late but right on time with pinpoint precision. May we not lose hope or sight of the God we serve, trusting that He WILL remain faithful through all the times in which we now live.

Praise You that You see all these events! You have You’re own event. Praise You for the 3rd Great Awakening which is about to sweep over the earth. Praise You for uncovering and exposing all the wickedness and compromise in our government and judicial system. Your Kingdom come!!! Your will be done!!! No one stands against You and Your wonderful purposes! Father, I pray for those who sit in the Supreme Court. You know the bribery and blackmail that has taken place. I ask for courage and protection for all of Your servants on the court. Give them backbones of steel. May the fear of the Lord fall on all of them. Clean up all of our courts, from the lowest to the highest. Kick out anyone that has no respect for You or Your law. Bring justice and accountability to all who have acted wickedly in this season. Thank you for Your justice and righteousness. That is the foundation of Your throne…and You, Jesus, are the TRUTH in every situation. Let Your light of TRUTH fall upon our courts.

We might keep in mind, for SCOTUS NOT to hear these cases is to allow the military (who appear to be in charge under President Trump), to initiate a broader gathering of those treasonous actors. While SCOTUS would limit the focus and bog the ongoing process. This link will explain: https://www.bitchute.com/video/sCUNQE2wlRDu/
Start at the 8 minute mark…
Also, for a more complete look at the list of VIP executed, see this link: https://amg-news.com/archives/10052
Now understand, neither you or I can confirm these reports. But in my heart, with Trump having signed the insurrection act, is it reasonable that he would not use it? No.

Thanks for sharing Mike. I have watched the sites; and viewed other sites suggesting such. it’s way out there in the realm of unbelievable. In scripture, when God slew the masses, names and groups of peoples were recorded. In our day it’s called ‘broadcast’; it makes headlines. Why keep executions secretive, with a double that seems similar. Like I commented on another site, reminds me of the 1975 thriller ‘The Stepford Wives’. Let’s stick to the facts as best we can. Brother Dixon put out a prophecy “w/In 30 Days, God will rattle the structure of the politics” I think will encourage (i will share above also).

The Supreme Cour has miserably failed the American citizenry, and no good reason exits for the two new justices to go along with non-juridical silence, comparable to the lawlessness many ctitzens are accused of.

The majority of the Supreme Court have failed to do what’s obvious to the public. There was voter fraud. Thank God for Justice Thomas. He had the most unrighteous time to be put in position and he is the best. And for Justice Alito and Gorsuch. What happened to the rest of them. The latest Amy is a disappointment as she was not standing for the right either. I thought it strange that she didn’t have much of a battle getting appointed. Mitch McConnell needs to retire before he dies amy more damage to us.

Yes, the Supreme Court has failed us. We do deserve better since we now have 5 Conservative Judges on the bench who we thought would uphold the Constitution.

We sure did believe we had courageous conservatives on the court who would stand up for the rule of law. That’s how they presented themselves. Sadly, once again those we thought had integrity leave us questioning them. One by one we have lost faith in conservatives in positions of authority who let us down.

Dear Heavenly Father, it does my heart good to know that there are some members of the Supreme Court who still have moral courage and a sense of justice, but overall, I feel all parts of America’s government have failed the good people of this nation and caved in to the threats and intimidation of the evil left and their darker, more shadowy overlords, both mortal and spiritual. Though there are still good men and women in both houses of Congress, they are now in the minority. I pray for them Lord. Protect them and bolster their spirits. As for the Supreme Court, there are apparently a few who still have moral courage and a commitment to true justice, but it appears the majority do not. Protect those that do still stand on Your side, bolster their courage, And May they plant seeds of Your righteous wisdom in the other justices. Lord, I believe the executive branch was hijacked, and the perpetrators know full well their guilt. I pray they repent all the sins they committed in pulling of this travesty, and I pray for honest and just leadership in their place. Lord, the military, intelligence agencies, and some law enforcement agencies also failed this nation when they were put to the test. Their leaders seemed to lack the moral courage to uphold the oaths they took to protect this nation against all enemies foreign and domestic, and worse still, some seem to have been complicit in the thefts and deception. May those involved repent their actions and either do their duty to the American people they are sworn to protect, or get out of the way do more righteous leaders may take their place and actually perform the duties they swore to do. Lord, May Justice Thomas’s words resonate and sway leaders throughout government. In Jesus precious name, Amen.

It seems that the Supreme Court has failed us and our nation. We deserve better and expect more of the Supreme Court. Absolutely horrible. They need to do their jobs and the American people deserves to hear that case. I shudder to think that the rule of law may no longer exist in the U.S. We MUST try to fix and repair our future elections or they will continue to be rigged!!

Our hope is not in an earthly government, it is in Jesus and His all encompassing presence in our lives.

Dear Supreme Court Justices,

I am totally baffled that only 3 justices ruled that they should hear the arguments in the Pennsylvania case regarding the election rules. It seems to me that the other 6 are not qualified to sit on the bench if they cannot see the wisdom of hearing this case and acting to be clear on who sets election rules in future elections as well as this past one. Six justices have clearly abdicated their responsibility. This is a sad, sad day in our Judicial System. No matter their party affiliation, they owed it to the American people to hear that case.

    Dear Martha,

First of all, thank you for 50 years of service to the Great State of Texas! I have been keeping Texas in my prayers as whole power grid-frozen-no heat-no water debacle is absolutely heartbreaking!

I am just getting off of an election fraud Zoom call of EVERYTHING that has happened in Georgia (county by county) with regards to the Nov 3 fiasco. It is SUCH a travesty of justice. The evidence is profuse, detailed (even with videos of blatant theft!). We even have documented foreign interference from China attacking several polling places, and yet truth is being beaten down and hammered against. Those who are fighting back are truly HEROS. And to top it off…the Supreme Court is corrupt and derelict in their sworn duties! No hope for help from them. It boggles the mind that they would work against America in this way.

“And this is the judgment: The Light has come into the world, and people loved the darkness rather than The Light because their works were EVIL. For everyone who does wicked things HATES The Light and does NOT come to The Light, lest his works SHOULD BE EXPOSED. But whoever does what is true comes to the Light, so that it may be clearly seen that his works have been carried out in God.” John 3:19-21

We must deal with a government that no longer represents the people of the United States.
The Federal Government has usurped power from the states in education and taught socialism as good and democratic republics as bad.
The time has come for those who are willing to stand for freedom and justice for all to stand against enemies foreign and domestic.
We can condemn the cowardly Justices, only if we are willing to stand against the stealing of our country by the corruption of our elections.
Lord, will You please show us how to defeat our enemies and bring America back onto Your pathways to fulfill Your purposes. We also ask for the courage to do as You tell us. We ask in Jesus’ name and for Your glory. Amen

When all else fails…….where does our help come from?

We were never supposed to be a democracy. Our forefathers only borrowed the physical set up to establish a system of government order. We were never wanting to copy democracy. We had something much better . The common citizens had the right to keep their earnings and own land and homes and prevent bullies from redistributing our (often meager) wealth and giving it to others or to greedy government. We are not and were not intended to be a democracy . We used the lay out map of it to establish order but did not intend for democracy but instead set it up so the common people could have the ability to make fair and just decisions and to keep their hard earned money and property. Our CONSTITUTION is what sets us apart from democracy. We need to educate our people so that they have the knowledge needed to make intelligent decisions and put more of the decisions in the hands of every common citizen instead of the corrupt state reps and congress who have all failed to represent us and some Supreme Court Justices are corrupt.

I used to think that the Supreme Court stood up for the constitution and was here to protect this country from wrong and extremes that war against “We The People”…. but apparently that is no longer the case. All this election questions continue, and the SC is asleep. For evil to prosper, good men just need to do nothing. Sad. But I keep pressing on in prayer. Do we see what is happening here? With HR1, illegals pouring in to the country, packing the SC, and states doing everything they can to flood the ballot box with blue…. we may be signaling the end of our democracy.

These cases that were denied review by the U.S. Supreme Court address only some of the dishonesty and irregularities in the last election. Another serious problem, exposed by a forensic audit ordered by a courageous court in Antrim County, Michigan, is the prevalence of vote-switching tabulation software. Poll-watchers in numerous jurisdictions reported actually seeing ballots clearly marked for Trump-Pence fed into tabulating machines and recorded as votes for Biden-Harris. This phenomenon in Maricopa County, Arizona (and other states) decided the election in that state. The fact that the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors are getting away with refusing to honor legislative subpoenas for those tabulating machines for an audit indicates that the days of the United States as a constitutional republic are over. What I’m afraid we are witnessing is a modern, high-tech version of the Babylonian Captivity, brought on by the nation’s refusal to honor God in such matters as abortion, same-sex “marriage,” and religious freedom.

Help them to stay true to their calling and fill them with Your Spirit of the fear of the Lord, as well as Your Spirit of wisdom, revelation, knowledge and understanding, and Your Spirit of counsel and might. Surround them with the fire of Your Presence and protect and save them to the uttermost as they exercise justice and truth at ALL times. In Jesus’ Mighty Name! Amen!

And let’s not forget Justice Cavanaugh in this, that he too would join the righteous fight.

Kavanaugh voted with Thomas, Alito and Gorsuch. Barrett reportedly did not participate because the case was filed prior to her being sworn in.

That aside, why can’t these five justices form a majority to override the despicable Roberts and the equally despicable “Left Bank” of SCOTUS?

Why does it say nowhere that Cavenaugh voted with the others? Thank you for the “why” on Barret.

I think he voted for them the first time when it was tied 4-4, before Barrett came on the Court. I don’t know why Kavanaugh would have reversed his decision this time.

Thank you, Justice Thomas and the other three justices who voted to resolve the issue of changing the election rules before an election. Our judicial system is no longer working for justice and fairness for the American people. Confidence in our court system, along with voter confidence in a fair election is a thing of the past. 75 million Americans know without a doubt the 2020 election was stolen, and yet our court system will not even hear the evidence of that crime. Such a sad time for America! I am 78 years old and use a walker. I stood in line for one and one half hours in the cold to vote in the November election. My vote was stolen, and that was ok with the Supreme Court of the United States of America! The scales of justice need to work for the people again, not for the self interest of the judges.

The Supreme Court without question failed Americans. They have failed themselves and what they are supposed to stand for.

They have lost the respect they once had. They have been exposed to be just as easily compromised as anyone else. They once held great esteem for many, many years and lost it within a span of a few weeks. However, it is not over and perhaps those that want to stand for truth can redeem themselves.

Lord, thank you for this admittance of failure on the American people. I pray the corrupt judges be exposed and removed. Thank you for the bravery they showed for going against there corrupted colleagues’ disinterest in truth and justice in the 2020 election.

Praise You for continuing to turn hearts. May many more come forward to make amends to the people of this country. Expose the back door dealings that have caused this massive historical farse.
