A WARNING FOR THE GOP

Father, continue to protect our nation and help us to call on Your name.

According to the poll from Suffolk University-USA Today, a huge number of Republicans, 46 percent, would be willing to join a party created by Trump, 27 percent said they’d stay GOP and the rest were undecided, apparently leaving open the possibility they could flee too. It appears that some Republicans like Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) are hoping that they can distance themselves from President Donald Trump and/or that he’ll ride off quietly into the sunset. . . .

It appears that some Republicans like Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) are hoping that they can distance themselves from President Donald Trump and/or that he’ll ride off quietly into the sunset.

But what they’re missing in all this is why people support Trump to begin with. Because here was someone finally responding frankly to them who did in fact, govern by putting America and Americans first. He didn’t govern like someone trying to preserve his own power, otherwise he would have made all kinds of concessions in the face of the constant blistering attack on him throughout his presidency.  . . .

And, with the help of McConnell. getting a raft of more constitutionally oriented judges confirmed. It’s actually amazing that he was able to do what he did with the constant efforts against him, even including within his own admistration from the permanent bureaucratic set. . .

According to the poll from Suffolk University-USA Today, a huge number of Republicans, 46 percent, would be willing to join a party created by Trump, 27 percent said they’d stay GOP and the rest were undecided, apparently leaving open the possibility they could flee too.

From Townhall:

“We feel like Republicans don’t fight enough for us, and we all see Donald Trump fighting for us as hard as he can, every single day,” said Brandon Keidl, a 27-year-old Republican and small-business owner from Milwaukee. “But then you have establishment Republicans who just agree with establishment Democrats and everything, and they don’t ever push back.”

According to the poll, half of those polled said the Party should become “more loyal to Trump,” even if it meant losing establishment Republicans. Only one in five said the party should become less loyal to Trump and more like establishment Republicans.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) counseled McConnell and Trump to bury their differences and come together for the good of the party. He impressed upon McConnell that “President Trump is the most consequential Republican in the party. If Mitch McConnell doesn’t understand that, he’s missing a lot” and he said that made him very worried about 2022. Graham also praised the job that Trump did as president and told him ,“[Y]ou own the Republican Party, my friend… You are the hope of the future of conservatism.” But that they needed to get back into power in 2022 and 2024. “I believe the Democrats are doing all they can to help us. We just need to help ourselves.” . . .

They need to actually hear what is being said by the people feeling disenfranchised and they need to listen to the greater point that they don’t want McConnell or Graham taking the establishment route, as they often have. They want real action, not just the uni-party typical inaction. What has saved the GOP so far is that the Democrats are so awful, the GOP just had to not be as insane. But when they essentially start taking the same positions, many see no distinction. Stand for the GOP principles that we are all supposed to believe in, hold Democrats accountable. . . .

  2. Can’t wait to join the Trump party. I’m a Trump Republican. I would leave the Republican party in a heartbeat.

Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump were the best Republican Presidents ever. Never thought much of the Bush’s.

Too many Republicans in office, like Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney and others have no backbone and have no fight in them. They bowed to Obama and will do the same thing for Joe Biden.

We do however have some promise with some of the Republicans that are currently in office, along with the freshman class of Republicans, that are willing to fight and truly represent the people that put them there.

Hopefully the Republicans will get their act together, but they will need to do it soon. They need to realize that the Republican Party is the Trump Party.

Get aboard the Trump Train. The Trump Train is leaving the station.

    Amen! 8
  3. God is this not a new season and era? Shall we not see/know what you are doing and showing us!

I truly believe it’s a new season and era and it’s time for a new party that’s for the people and not for corporations and new government leaders that are not lining their pockets and self-serving.

God is this not your time for the body of Christ to align with your truth, righteousness and justice?

Help us God align with you and what you are doing.

Give us a hunger to read your word, to fellowship and have a relationship with you God so our way of thinking and doing things shall align with you and what you desire in the USA in Jesus name!

    Amen! 11
  4. I realize that former president Trump personality and words often rubbed folks the wrong way, if fact as a supporter once or twice with my advice to (in so many words) be kinder in his words and actions.
But on the other side tho we can distance ourselves from him personally, we should at the same time honor all the good he has done for our country.- his good lives after him and if we all stick together, hopefully we can maintain it, with God’s help.

    Amen! 3
  5. The we the people movement is growing in America just like the born again movement and they will explode at the same time. The more that persecution comes against Christians and conservatives, the more the movements will grow and people will be empassioned even more. Just like in the book of Acts, persecution was a driving force. I think the more the present government tries to oppress us, it is going to have a boomerang effect. There is an army rising up of Jesus followers and patriots. America is awakening to the destiny purposes of God. America has a missionary call to be a light to other nations and this destiny purpose will not be stopped. God uses people to affect culture and government is part of that process. God so loved the world and America does have a missionary destiny that will continue into the future.

    Amen! 15
  6. Dear Heavenly Father, I yet pray that truth and justice may yet prevail in our nation, but I know that wicked men and women are working hard to insure that we never have another honest election again. The same people seek to take from us the rights You gave us, and to remove any reference to You from our government, and indeed, throughout our land. Lord if they will not repent, please remove them from us that they may taint this land no more. In Jesus precious name I pray Oa’ Lord, Amen.

    Amen! 26
  7. I would change in a NY minute to the team supporting Trump! The only reason I am a R is bc of the platform,ie: it has more of a biblical stand, but I’m watching that crumble. I do see a crop of new R rising up w a biblical world view & I am SO…. encouraged, God is moving!!

    Amen! 32
  8. The Republicans have become too compromising and Mr. McConnell is no exception. I believe also that it’s time for McConnell to go. The GOP does need Trump to keep the Republican party strong and possibly regain the senate in 2022? The reason why the Democrats hate former Pres. Trump so much is because he got in the way of their global plans, which was why we needed Trump to serve a second term as President of the U.S.

    Amen! 37
  9. President Trump has energized and mechanized the need to sift the wheat. separate the core grain from the pod. Some grain is compromised. Still more grain is infected and broken. Its best for our country and it’s health.

Heavenly Father, sift our wheat. Give us the strength to shake down in order to build up. In the name of of your Son Jesus, Amen

    Amen! 35
  10. Time for Mitch McConnell to go. He needs to face the fact that the GOP needs Trump to be involve to keep the Republican Party strong and regain the Senate and possibility the House in 2022. Democrats barely have the majority in the House,

    Amen! 28
  11. President Trump speaks for the Freedoms of Patriot American people of the United States.
He unveils/unmasked the TRUTH about corruption that is going on.
This is why the Democrats do not like him, our Freedom & Patriot American people.
The TRUTH hurts the greedy/power hungry Democrat party.

    Amen! 31
  12. The argument used to be that splitting the Republican party would hand the victory to the Democrats. But this election cycle has proven that many in the Republican leadership are actually on the same side as the Democrats, so there is now no reason to feel guilty for abandoning the party. I say, vote your conscience, whether Republican or otherwise, and don’t feel guilty about it. If the party is split and the Democrats win, at least the establishment Republicans who lose will have to live under the same bad laws they have imposed on the American people by their inaction and treachery.

But in spite of all that, election fraud is still our greatest threat and problem to be overcome.

    Amen! 34
  13. I wholeheartedly agree that the Republican Party needs to become one for Americans, and not for themselves to hold power. We ‘Trump’ lovers are lovers of the freedom we have through the constitution, not political leaders. That they don’t get Trumps attraction to the 70+ million who voted for him, and that they didn’t fight for election integrity tells me they care only for Washington power. They too are corrupt in my sight. I pray that the Lord reach their hearts and they repent and be saved, or that God’s holy judgement come down upon them along with those on the Democratic side who are knowingly or unwittingly going against God. Amen.

    Amen! 48
  14. Let Mitch McConnell ride off into the sunset either on his own or in shame fir what he’s done. And the rest of the compromising GOP go with him. We need an election system that’s trustworthy and home based.

    Amen! 44
  15. I trust President Trump to do what is right for America. He has proven this at tremendous personal sacrifice. The Rinos didn’t support election integrity and several voted to impeach the president and not uphold the Constitution.

    Amen! 47
  16. This split between conservatives and “Establishment Republicans,” “RINOs,” or “Mensheviks” within the Republican Party has been with us for decades, long before Donald Trump entered the political scene. I’m proud to say that the Arizona Republican Party is now solidly in the hands of the conservatives; at our state convention we recently voted to censure Jeff Flake and Cindy McCain for supporting Biden while claiming to be Republican “leaders.” Let’s hope that elsewhere Mensheviks like McConnell will suffer defeats in their next primaries. If they end up controlling the Republican Party, it will suffer the same fate as the Russian Mensheviks (who favored a “kinder and gentler” socialism than the Marxist-Leninist Bolsheviks) suffered in 1918: marginalization, de-platforming, and eventual criminalization and the Gulags.

    Amen! 20
  17. I’m done done done with the republicrats – they are no different that the demon craps – they lie and cheat to get re-elected and then go back to their own ways – I am totally in favor of a Patriot Party – the R’s lie and cheat get in control and do whatever the demon craps tell them to do – done done and done!

    Amen! 30
  18. The idea of a third party can be “scary,” because of concern about splitting the Republican vote. However, we must realize that a conservative populist party could gain many independent voters, thereby providing a great deal of strength in numbers. This is not a step to be undertaken lightly or in haste, for sure. But much could be gained by it, ultimately. We pray for wisdom for our leaders.

    Amen! 38
    1. I would agree with you Joy, but first and foremost, we MUST MUST MUST get election integrity at the forefront before the next election or they will just continue to be rigged.

      Amen! 37
      1. Debra hit the nail square on the head! Unless the cheating is fixed, it doesn’t matter what party is running. We also need limited terms of office. Time for the dinosaurs to retire. May God bless us all who stand for his Son and freedom!

        Amen! 22
  19. It would be a mistake to form another political party. What power would be found in further dividing the Republican Party? You have seen the vote split in other elections; well, it will happen again. Without a broad base of voters you lose.

    Amen! 7
    1. We need to show the republicans that we are not in agreement with them. I refuse to give any money to them. And my giving is small or give them verbal support until I see some type of backbone and I’m from Illinois the epitome of spineless reps. Sad to say. Durbin and duckworth are liberal and past common sense. S457 a prime example of Senate wisdom. Shared Bathrooms for the entire world. From schools to all public places. Who in their right mind would vote for that? Think about your wife. Your daughter and son having to use those facilities. Rise up men and protect your families.

      Amen! 20
      1. Thanks for your reply Jeane,
I do not disagree with all that you have said. There are crazies in the Democratic Party now and the Republicans have had no backbone to support each other or support good legislation. Informed voters will be hard to come by since most of America is watching the media and reading slanted newspapers. I am amazed at how the country continues to go along with the drivel coming out of the Democrats and the Half-Republican who vote with them. I live in Texas and things are worse in other parts of the country. If more attention were given to the primary when these people get chosen perhaps the Republican Party would improve. If Republicans don’t get really mad I look for things to get even worse.

        Amen! 6
    2. We are losing. We need voter fraud addressed and changed. You can’t even find a Senator or representative who will address that no matter which party. Without an honest way to vote we are beat. Republicans need to grab hold of that and run with it. Who’s pocket are they in? Quit reaching across the aisle. Look where that got us.

      Amen! 14
  20. Every republican who voted or didn’t support him should be targeted for removal. Donald is our Hope. He is still growing in his spiritual walk. I have seen a difference when he speaks. There is a fever in American to change things two sides having such different views however, it’s the lords version that will eventually win out with Donald leading the day and his clear view of heaven Before us. Things are changing quickly. Father guide us in the word to restore our nation and the values we all love so dearly. God is good

    Amen! 44
