The United States Supreme Court agreed to hear a landmark abortion case in December, Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, challenging a Mississippi (MS) law (House Bill 1510) that bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy. This will be the first time the new conservative majority on the Supreme Court could significantly restrict abortion in America.
Due to the urgency of this case, IFA is initiating 50 Days of Prayer for Life from October 12 – December 1, which is the date set for oral arguments at the Supreme Court in this case. This will be a time of daily focused prayer starting every day at 1 PM EST for the 9 Supreme Court Justices who will be deciding this case and for each of the 50 states to defend Life.

Your prayer will be added to the permanent record of the Supreme Court in this case, and you can read the amicus brief we filed which advocates for intercessors on the legal and spiritual arguments in this case.
The greatest challenges to unrestricted abortion are coming from the state legislatures, and should Roe be overturned in this case, each state will determine how babies will be protected going forward. We need to pray now for each state to stand for Life!

Most gracious heavenly Father, I come before You today pleading for the lives of unborn babies. I ask You to please touch the hearts of the Supreme Court justices; please give them wisdom in the decisions they make, and please give them compassion for these little ones who cannot speak for themselves. We as a nation have been so wrong in allowing abortions to go on. Father, please forgive us, and please intervene on behalf of these babies that are created in Your image. All of this I humbly ask,

Dear Lord, I appeal for the life of the unborn today. Lord, please speak to the nine Justices of the Supreme Court to protect the sanctity of human life in the womb. In the Name and Authority of Jesus I pray, Amen.

We must plead unceasingly for the unborn. How can we expect God to help us out of the mess we’re in, if we ignore the plight of these precious lambs? God, we’re so sorry we’ve let abortion go on so long. It’s horrible. Forgive our cold hearts. May we be troubled with what troubles you and never let up.
Oh Father,
I cry out to you to move upon the seven Supreme Court Justices in such a powerful way in Jesus Name to have the wisdom and courage to so strongly cast down the Roe versus Wade decision that no governor, state legislators, and/or judges will have courage to go against their decision in order to end the slaughter of innocent lives.
Precious Creator of all life, I praise You for knitting me together in my mother’s womb. I thank You that I know that I am fearfully and wonderfully made.
I come to You today in repentance over my own wicked ways. I ask in humility that you forgive me for both the sins I willfully committed as well as for the ones where I didn’t obey you, didn’t stand for righteousness, didn’t defend those who couldn’t defend themselves, not just in the fight against abortion but also in defending those caught in human trafficking, abusive relationships, neglect, slavery, across our nation and our world. Forgive me for neglecting prayer.
Open my eyes that I might see ‘them’. Guide me by Your Holy Spirit to both see the wrong and know what you call me to do.
I pray for each of these lives and ask You to spare them, to intercede on their behalf, that You will restrain the enemy, and change the hearts of those who change the evil laws in this country and support those that are good.
I praise You, my God, my King, my Lord!

I am in complete agreement in this move to eradicate this vile spirit of abortion! In the name of our savior Jesus Christ we come against this spirit of lies and shine light to expose its plan of destruction! Let light of truth shine through to expose you and we tear you down in Jesus mighty majestic name !

Father God, I thank you that you are the Creator. I thank you that even though my mother wanter an abortion and had one arranged in 1955 you told her not to do it, and she listened. I thank you for my life and new life in you. I thank you that I carried life. I thank you for my son’s life and his children’s. I pray that the nation I love would not allow a women’s womb to be an unsafe place for a pre born life. I pray that we cry out to you during these 50 days and not only change the hearts of the Supreme Court but change the hearts of my nation. Lord change us. I plead the blood of Jesus over the intercessors. Thank you Lord for the saints I pray with each day Lord give us favor. In Jesus name. Amen
