Trump claimed at the debate that illegal immigrants are being put on social security. Despite what fact checkers may say, he’s correct.
From American Thinker. Who needs U.S. citizenship, or for that matter, legal authorization to live in the U.S. when you’ve got Joe Biden’s open borders?
Have you taken your place on the wall?
That looks like the story with [illegal immigrants] receiving Social Security benefits, a lifetime benefit that until recently had been perceived as nominally reserved for U.S. citizens, not illegal border crossers, and which Democrats are now trying to debunk.
At the debate, NewsNation reported that Trump said:
“Social Security … he’s destroying it because millions of people are pouring into our country and they’re putting them onto Social Security,” Trump said. “They’re putting ‘em onto Medicare and Medicaid. Putting them into hospitals. They’re taking the place of our citizens.” …
Which sounds true and is. Based on what’s known from the Social Security office, via Newsweek’s fact-check:
On its website, the Social Security Administration wrote: “Lawfully present noncitizens of the United States who meet all eligibility requirements can qualify for Social Security benefits. This rule also applies to noncitizens authorized to work in the United States who got a Social Security number after December 2003.”
The problem, of course, is in the details. [Illegal immigrants] can’t just tap into regular Social Security retirement benefits as paying Americans do.
However, they can get SSI pretty easily …
Immigrants may be eligible for SSI if they meet the following criteria:
- Lawfully admitted for permanent residence.
- Granted conditional entry.
- Paroled into the United States. …
Conditional entry, as well as parole status are what they give to catch-and-release foreign nationals who are “processed” by the Border Patrol after breaking and entering the U.S. illegally. The only foreigners who don’t get this status are “gotaways” who escape Border Patrol detection, and are typically criminals and terrorists. …
Sound sustainable? … The SSI program is wide open to any illegal border crosser to presents himself to the Border Patrol. What a deal for them. What a disaster for us.

That really makes me angry because I have low vision and the disability office repeatedly deny me but a illegal can get benefits from my taxes and I cant!!!!. I’m fed up with Democrat’s

I worked for Social Security for 36 years. Looking at the criteria above, the illegal “immigrants” do not meet the “admitted for permanent residence”. That is a legal term, what is commonly called a green card, so it would appear the illegals only meet 2 of the 3 and at least for now cannot get SSI. That’s why this election is so important. We know if the current administration stays in power, no matter who is at the head, they will work for the laws to be changed. Illegals can probably, however, qualify for Medicaid/food stamps. Those are state run and I am not as familiar with their rules, and they are funded with both state and federal tax money.
As a legal green card immigrant 16 years ago, a citizen for 9 years and a tax payer I am appalled that illegals can get things such as social security etc. that I cannot, simply because I had been married for only 7 1/2 years and not 10 years before I divorced an every which way abusive husband!
Lord I ask You to bring justice to rule and reign in this nation once more through Your chosen leader for this next leadership term.

It seems evident that this administration of government chooses to give the hard earned money for US CITIZENS RETIREMENT to NON CITIZEN ILLEGALS THRU THEFT AND DECEPTION..ONLY to be relinquished thru Proverbs 6:31…
I can say this is true. I work in a bank and there are many who come in with cash to open accounts for the sole purpose of receiving these benefits. They are non citizens with no job and are receiving benefits from snap welfare and SSI. They withdraw in cash weekly. These people are carrying designer handbags and wallets and wear expensive clothes, Apple Watches and expensive jewelry. It is not a lie. I am praising God for the debate where all people had the chance to hear and see truth. Praying for more opportunities for truth to be revealed to all people at one time. God is speaking loudly. Let he who has ears to hear, hear. Amen.
SSI is NOT an entitlement FROM the government. Hard working, legal residents have paid in to SS all of their working lives. The government has mishandled our hard earned savings that we allowed them to use as collateral. We get to try and live off of some meager allotment and what little we’ve managed to save for “retirement” and our “golden years” it is a travesty!
They can window-dress these DISASTEROUS BIDEN POLICIES any way they want, but they are TREASON, Biden is a CON ARTIST and the Democrats are THIEVES who are stealing America. They are stealing the money that millions of Americans paid into Social Security such that it will not be there when they need it, and many will starve and be evicted from their homes as a result. What do the Democrats get out of it? The Democrats get to use the ILLEGAL VOTES of ILLEGAL ALIENS to set up their totalitarian dictatorship, Biden gets to keep selling out America for tens of millions in bribes and they all get to keep their totally corrupted DOJ and FBI under their private control such that it will NEVER prosecute them for their crimes, but it will persecute anyone who opposes them on false charges. In a word, the Democrats get to be the false gods of the second-coming of Nazis Germany in America.
