House Votes to Protect D.C. Elections
In a significant move that aligns with the principles of law, order, and the sanctity of citizenship, the GOP-led House has passed a bill repealing a 2022 law from Washington D.C. This law previously allowed noncitizens to participate in local elections. This decision, backed by a bipartisan vote of 262-143, underscores the importance of citizenship in our democratic process.

The passage of this bill is a crucial step towards safeguarding the integrity of our elections. It serves as a reminder that the privilege of participating in the voting process is closely linked to the responsibilities and commitments of being a U.S. citizen.
Earlier in April, the D.C. Board of Elections conducted a training session for noncitizens interested in registering to vote. This fact underscores the need for election integrity, and the importance of bills like the one the House just passed.
In the near future, the House Administration Committee is set to consider legislation that would necessitate proof of U.S. citizenship for voter registration nationwide. This is a necessary measure to protect our electoral process. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) has expressed his intention to bring this bill to the floor for a vote.
In conclusion, as intercessors, we support these legislative efforts to ensure that the right to vote remains a cherished privilege of U.S. citizenship. We believe that these measures align with our values of law, order, and responsible stewardship, and we pray for wisdom and discernment for our leaders as they continue to navigate these important issues.

So, I wonder how the SAVE ACT influences voter integrity. I hear this is passed by the House, but could get stuck on Schumer’s desk. How is that preventable? We call in the resources of Heaven to cause the Senate to be able to vote on this legislature and that it would pass by a landslide showing patiotism in this branch of our government!
Father God we know that righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne and you won’t let the guilty go free. We decree and declare that you expose the hidden agenda and all the lies of the enemy cut off his lying tongue and break his teeth from devouring your Ekklesia in Jesus Name we Pray.
Father, we thank you that this passed the House. As it goes to the Senate, may it pass there. May the Senators see the danger of allowing non-citizens to vote.
Praise God! This is a great development. Lord Jesus, by Your mercy and grace, please restore election integrity to the United States.
Please also Lord make this happen in honor of all those that gave their lives for this country, to have it be governed rightly, strong and free, one of the freedoms being to vote in the correct and rightful way. Thank you, Lord. Amen.
