Lord, continue to give our president and other government officials wisdom and discernment. We pray that the fear of the Lord in their lives would cause them to shine as a light to the world.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – Gun dealers in Minnesota attribute a surge in firearms sales to anxiety over the coronavirus, civil unrest and the uncertainties involving the presidential race.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation says there were about 21,900 background checks for gun purchases in Minnesota in August of 2019. This year, there were nearly 35,000 in the same month.

The surge in gun and ammunition sales began in March, as the COVID-19 pandemic lead to panic buying, as it did with some household supplies, according to gun shop owners.

George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police in May and the protests and violence that followed only accelerated gun and ammunition purchases.

Dave Amon, an agent at Gunstop of Minnetonka, said the demand shows no signs of slowing especially as the changing role of law enforcement is in the spotlight, the Star Tribune reported. . . .

The coronavirus outbreak has led to limits on the supply of ammunition.

Factories can’t make as many bullets due to COVID-19 shutdowns and social distancing restrictions on the number of employees working at once, Amon said.

When a supply of bullets and shells arrive at stores, they’re gone in a couple hours, shop owners said.

What do you think about  gun sales being up and ammunition supplies being low?

In the book of Esther Chapter 8:11 is all about the 2nd Amendment – the right to bear arms.
“The King’s edict granted the Jews in every city the RIGHT to ASSEMBLE, and PROTECT themselves; to DESTROY, KILL, and ANNIHILATE any ARMED forces of any NATIONALITY or PROVINCE that might attack them and their women and children; and to plunder the property of their enemies.”
Don’t know if this means our personal property.

We are to love our neighbor…that means being prepared to protect them. From what? People who are bent on evil.

I am grateful gun sales are up and ammo is being bought out even though I don’t know how to use a gun – yet. However, for those counting on guns – I shutter to think with all the other weaponry especially with weapons used to start all these fires that it will help in these circumstances.

In Ester days, they were not going to be put in jail for defending themselves! That is what I would desire for us that want to protect our 2nd amendment.

I personally wish people would get rid of their masks, not social distance and get all the people they can to meet the demand for guns and ammo. Instead of guns being demanded the deep state can just have gun companies not supply them any more.

Most law abiding people, those who have a relationship with God and understand what has happened to the breakdown of morals set by God In America their only hope is to protect themselves, family, property and ultimately their Christian freedoms. This is why I believe there has been a surge of purchases of weaponry and Ammunition!
