President Trump on Wednesday announced a list of potential Supreme Court nominees who included Republican Sen. Tom Cotton. The president said that the new names add to his previous list of potential nominees.
“I’m honored that President Trump asked me to consider serving on the Supreme Court and I’m grateful for his confidence,” Cotton said in a statement. “I will always heed the call of service to our nation. The Supreme Court could use some more justices who understand the difference between applying the law and making the law, which the Court does when it invents a right to an abortion, infringes on religious freedom, and erodes the Second Amendment.”
The Arkansas senator on Wednesday tweeted his opposition to the Supreme Court’s 1973 landmark abortion ruling Roe v. Wade.
“It’s time for Roe v. Wade to go,” Cotton tweeted. . . .
The Supreme Court could use some more justices who understand the difference between applying the law and making the law, which the Court does when it invents a right to an abortion, infringes on religious freedom, and erodes the Second Amendment.

I Agree Tom Cotten would be a good selection! Tom is Pro Life and the Roe vs Wade was based on a LIE! I will be Praying that Tom Cotton would be considered a candidate for the Supreme Court! Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for arising in this situation to help the unborn be born since in Psalm 139 You said You knew our every parts when it was being formed and had written a book of destiny for us to fulfill. Lord You told us to fight for the helpless, which the most vulnerable is the unborn child and now even the born infant. Command the Host of Heaven to sweep out this spirit of molech be removed from our land in Jesus name Amen.
I agree 100% with Tim Cotton. It’s time for Roe v. Wade to go! This horrible, demonic law has caused the loss of countless human lives since 1973, and enough is enough!
But you know what? I think just repealing Roe v. Wade isn’t good enough. We need to educate people, who believe that life begins at birth, the truth about abortion. They need to know that life begins at conception, not at birth, and that abortion is murder. We need to pray that God will open their eyes so that they can see this truth and understand it. If we don’t do this, then we will just be returning to the days of back alley abortions. We need to let expectant mothers who are not ready to be mothers that the alternative to abortion is adoption. Adoption offers their babies a chance at life with a family. And who knows? When these babies grow up, they might just do something great with their lives, like finding a cure for a presently incurable disease. God doesn’t make mistakes. He created each and every one of us for a purpose. We need to reach these woke liberals and help them to understand this truth.
I will never understand taking a human life which begins at inception, by way of abortion. There is no room for compromise. Anyone who believes this is OK has been deceived by the devil.
Lord, thank You for Godly men who will stand on the principles of faith and trust in You to interpret laws. Lord, please give President Trump wisdom and discernment in making his choice. Allow him 4 more years that could turn our country back to You, if that be Your will. Whatever is Your way, all is well because Your ways are best! Help us to abide in You and glorify You through our lives and love for one another. In Jesus Name I pray
