God Is at Work! Highlights from Headline Prayer
Straight from the pages of Headline Prayer, we are reminded, yet again, that our God is clearly at work! It’s easy to lament about the struggles of today, to sit in the reality that while the Supreme Court voted against the federal mandate for vaccines (a HUGE praise), our brothers and sisters in healthcare are likely an “acceptable loss”… But friends, let us not lose hope. Our God is actively on the move!!! His people are interceding, and mountains are being moved!
Do you need a good dose of encouragement? Let’s review some ways God has been at work this past month.
The 2020 elections are still an area many of us are troubled about – for it really highlights the concerns and proposed laws surrounding future elections. Evidence has emerged in what has been called a “ballot trafficking operation” in Georgia, both in the presidential AND governmental races. True the Vote is suggesting some 242 people were paid, or at least volunteered, to harvest ballots, resulting in 5,662 ballot drops. Since this shocking accusation has been released, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has announced a statewide investigation into the matter.
Continue to pray for the men and women who are fighting for truth to be unveiled and brought into the light. Pray against weariness in “well-doing” and for protection over them and their families. Pray that nothing done in secret will remain hidden.
Join me in praying as intercessor Peggy Garcia prayed, “Dear Heavenly Father, bring more whistle blowers into the light. Give them the courage to speak truth and protect them as they come forward. We stand with them against the forces of evil that would wish to silence them, in the mighty name of Jesus!” And as intercessor Brian Lynch prayed, “Lord Jesus, please, let the ungodly corruption in our government be exposed for what it is- sinful, prideful, ungodly FRAUD. I pray that every single person, irregardless of who they are, or how much money they have, that was involved in this scam, will be exposed and prosecuted accordingly. I pray for the restoration of integrity and truth in our nation, particularly in our election processes. In Jesus’ name.”
So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. Mt 10:26
So the wicked hate the Light and try to hide from it, for the Light fully exposes their lives. Jn 3:20 TPT
Along similar lines, for the first time in Florida history, the number of registered Republicans exceeded registered Democrats, with 98% of the counties “turning red”. Much credit for this goes to the countless patriots moving to this “free state” and “the solid governance of Republican Governor Ron DeSantis and his refusal to back down to either the wokeists or to the COVID cultists.”
Continue to pray for the Church, for people to vote their values according to Kingdom principles. Pray for those like Gov. DeSantis who are championing for truth and freedom. Pray for more godly men and women to throw their names into upcoming races. Pray for the believers presently in office, to stay in that abiding place with the Lord, and from that place to lead their constituents.
Virginia Lt. Governor
Governor Glenn Youngkin and Lieutenant Governor Winsome Sears were officially inaugurated into office this past weekend. In a historic vote, Sears became “the first black woman elected to statewide office in Virginia”. She is passionate as an immigrant and a woman of color, “to kickstart her demographic’s political realignment in America”.
Intercessor Sandy shared a powerful comment in regard to Sears, “Sears is the voice of common sense–something we have lost sight of. We the People are being divided by a government that has walked away from the Lord. They have, or are trying to divide us by race, political opinion, and even vaccinated vs. unvaccinated; because if they can divide us, they can conquer us. Sears knows that we must all stand together, under God, as our Pledge of Allegiance states, and turn back to Him and let this country be run by good people who fear God and want to honor Him in their work.”
Join me in praying as ML prayed, “Please keep Winsome connected deeply to the headship of our Lord Jesus Christ through your Holy Spirit and the Word of God. May she be a woman who understands the times and knows what needs to be done, by your grace. May she follow the path of the Good Shepherd, for all your paths are paths of peace. May she demonstrate your friendliness to others. May she be as wise as serpents , but gentle as doves. Give her a great prayer backing. May she stay in step with you and May your influence flow through her, your truth, your credibility. I pray for great credibility, humility and courage. In Jesus’s Name.” And as intercessor Susan prayed, “Father God thank you for the bold and courageous woman of God Winsome has shown to be. Lord bless your handmaiden with favor with the people of this nation that as she speaks people of all walks of life will sit up, take notice and listen to and receive the God breathed counsel and wisdom we need. May her words not fall to the ground without accomplishing what You have sent them to do. Bless Winsome, her family and staff with divine health, steadfast minds and one heart. May they abide in your peace and help to establish peace every where they go. Grant to them confidence that they are never alone because you are ever present. Thank you Lord, in Jesus name. Amen.”
This month, the CDC director, Rochelle Walensky, specified that the numbers of deaths being attributed to COVID are weighted with “75% of deaths occurred in people with at least four comorbidities”. This is insightful data to consider. What was not stated in this article, was that Walensky was referring to the COVID deaths among those who are vaccinated. It is encouraging to hear these facts communicated rather than downplayed.
Let’s pray for more data about those who are vaccinated. Let’s also pray for research and accurate data to be revealed about those who are not vaccinated. Continue to pray for our freedoms to be protected in regards to our health and what we put into our bodies. Let’s also pray for those who are struggling with this awful virus and for those who have experienced loss.
With the influx of transgender legislation and school curriculum, it is easy to assume that many Americans now believe that gender is not determined at birth. The latest Rasmussen Reports survey found that the majority of Americans agree that only two genders exist, 75% to be exact. The survey went on to report that “68% of respondents said they were opposed to [gender] counseling without parental knowledge”. This is encouraging news when compared to what we are hearing on mainstream media.
The stories continue to come out, where “transitioned” men and women have realized the mistake they made. They want to recover that which they laid on the altar. They want to reclaim the life others told them was a lie. Walt Heyer shared how the Trans Agenda failed Adrian and failed him years earlier. He published his own story years earlier and is now sharing stories of 30 other detransitioners. Heyer also has his own ministry “Sex Change Regret” to help those who are lost. There is hope even for those who have “crossed the line”. The Father is always waiting for the prodigals to find their way home.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Gen 1:27
For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. Ps 139:13-14
Continue to pray for those who are confused. Pray for the parents of those who are confused. Pray for the adults in these young one’s lives and pray for godly men and women who see the God-given identity written into these children; may they speak boldly to that identity. Pray for those who feel there is no way back, for those who live in silent anguish for their own decisions or their own participation in someone else’s transition. We pray for truth to reign, for true identity to be awakened and for every lie of the enemy to be silenced. God does not make mistakes!
God invites each one of us to step in and intercede on behalf of this nation. He wants us to pray for our leaders. He wants us to pray for the salvation of those who are perishing.
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know. Pray especially for rulers and their governments to rule well so we can be quietly about our business of living simply, in humble contemplation. This is the way our Savior God wants us to live.
He wants not only us but everyone saved, you know, everyone to get to know the truth we’ve learned: that there’s one God and only one, and one Priest-Mediator between God and us—Jesus, who offered himself in exchange for everyone held captive by sin, to set them all free. Eventually the news is going to get out. This and this only has been my appointed work: getting this news to those who have never heard of God, and explaining how it works by simple faith and plain truth. 1 Tm 2:1-7 MSG
We carry the light of the world. Carry Him such that others see Him through the way you live, speak and act. Pray for our God to make a way in every area of our lives and government where evil is reigning. Lift high the name of Jesus, the name above all other names, and let’s watch more mountains be thrown into the sea!
What are you pressing in and believing for? Where have you seen God move mountains? Share below so we can join in with hopeful expectancy!
