In this interview, Governor DeSantis detailed the relief effort in Florida and responded to Kamala Harris’ calls for equity-based relief.

From Fox News. Following Harris’ comments about distributing resources based on equity, the Governor accused the Vice President of  “trying to play identity politics with a … natural disaster.” He followed this by saying that “you don’t have to politicize every single tragedy in this country,” and that Floridians are “sick of the nonsense.”

Post a prayer for your state!

On a more positive note, DeSantis highlighted the “grit and determination” of Floridians. The Governor claimed that many are “ready to bounce back,” and that “they are truly grateful for the outpouring of support.”

I pray Lord for Governor Ron DeSantis who stands strong in the midst of devastation to his state. Bless him oh Lord in all things he does, keep him in his going in and coming out of daily activities, guide him and direct him, and I pray your blessings over his wife and children and family and over all the workers, first responders, and volunteers who are diligently helping Florida to recover , bless them and shower your love upon them and all the people who are affected by the storm. Thank you, thank you Lord God almighty❣️🙏

Father, we ask that Florida makes a quick comeback. What the enemy meant for evil, we ask that you turn it around for good. In the name of Jesus and the authority in His name, we command satan to repay a minimum of 7 times the losses incurred. We thank you father for answering our prayers. In the mighty name of Jesus, amen.

Thank you for those like this governor who deals faithful as the Holy Spirit directs.
I had to ask forgiveness for my concern that Biden and Harris would have influence in this arena.
Holy is His Name..

I LOVE our governor and pray for him constantly. The wisdom and grit that he exudes makes my heart sing. I thank God for him and many that are on the front lines standing firm against the enemy’s plans! His remarks about Kamala Harris were right on and thank goodness that he sees through all the bull and fiery darts. Thank you Lord, for saturating Governor Ron DeSantis in Your grace and in Your wisdom!

I pray that homeowners won’t have to kill or be killed to protect themselves and their belongings.
They are going through enough as it is.

We are thankful to have Him as our Governor but why aren’t the Republican Governor’s in the other states taking a strong stand like DeSantis?
We have had our share of one’s who weren’t good. He would make a great VP for President Trump .
Many of us know that He is going to be President one day. He will be awesome too !
He is doing great things for Florida and He does seem to be a Godly man but let us all remember to praise God for our Governor and not praise the Governor Himself.
Since Governor DeSantis has done such a great job of standing strong for the state of Florida and he truly has, we resident’s, are being overrun with people flooding here to live from states where they need strong Governor’s but don’t have them. We are a long state but narrow. We can go to the Atlantic Ocean and watch the sunrise and still have hours to spare to go and watch the sun set in the Gulf of Mexico.
Many of us who have been here for generations ( my family ) since the 1700’s , are moving away out of state because we have become extremely congested.
The poor deer and other wildlife are trying to find a place to hide as last week even more woods were cut down and cleared for subdivisions in our rural area.
Having this wonderful Governor can also change things but sometimes not always for the best. Our A+ schools now have more incidents of misbehavior and daily the quiet neighborhood’s are reporting crime.
Guess you have to be a long time resident of Florida to understand how we feel.

I am so impressed with Ron DeSantis as a strong man of God. God truly does know how to choose the right person for His purposes to come to pass. Thank you, Father, and thank you for Ron DeSantis, a man of great courage. Blessed be Your Name Hashem!

The governor is in my opinion, PURE EVIL as most republicans are. They call themselves Christians and embrace the things that are unthinkable to real Christians. I don’t want any part of there message.

Agreed! Wish he was our Governor here in North Carolina!

And leave it to VP Kamala Harris to use a tragedy to spread hate and division! Proud of Floridians for not falling for her “nonsense.” She is despicable.

Praying for Gov. DeSantis and all the good people of Florida.

We are very impressed with Florida’s Governor DeSantis, who is and always has focused on Floridians first. With God’s help, his leadership and the grit of all who call Florida home, they will recover and rebound. God bless all of them.

I’m sick of the nonsense too. Glad Florida has a good governor who will tell it like it is. FEMA said everyone would be helped. That word equity is being used to appear good when it is anything but. That’s the justification of the so called SAFE-T Act here in Illinois which is anything but safe for law abiding citizens.

Lord, You say we should care for the poor and widows yet all are equal in Your sight. I pray for Gov. DeSantis he faces this tragedy in Florida . He professes Your Name . His wife defeated cancer and he has stood against the criticisms of the Left. Defend him Lord be his strength and refuge from the storm of evil men who care more about their political stance than they care about human lives. We pray Lord, That many will come to know and depend on You through this time. We need more men like Gov. DeSantis in this nation so we pray You will raise up leaders who defend the weak but find equality in all. Amen.

Janet, I agree with your beautiful prayer for Gov. DeSantis. If this evil Biden administration cannot defend and care for the unborn in abortion can they truly care about anyone? Caring for someone you don’t pick and choose you simply care for all.

Lord, Thank You for Gov. DeSantis who is working to help Floridians devastated by Hurricane Ian. Strengthen him and his staff. Provide money and supplies to help neighborhoods and people. Direct his thinking. Provide wise counselors. Thank You for what You’re doing through him in the state of Florida. Bless him and his staff. Amen.

What Kamela Harris said was whitep discrimination. All Florida people white, black, Asian, Spanish, Indian, whatever she affected by the hurricane Ian should be helped. We all lost something or someone of value to us! To say only blacks and the poor should be helped is wrong! God doesn:t discriminate! Obviously Kamala doesn’t believe in God as she is for killing the unborn. We need to pray for her and others who don’t know Jesus!
