“Furious” Democrats are considering “total war” next session if Republican press through and fill Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s vacant Supreme Court seat, Axios reports — and their plans may even include adding states to the union to ensure their permanent control of Congress.
Some Democrats, like Senate Judiciary Committee member Richard Blumenthal (D-CT), have made clear that they believe no response is off the table if President Donald Trump and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell follow through with plans to fill the seat with fewer than 50 days until the November presidential election. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) even noted Sunday that her caucus is considering pursuing impeachment, either a second round against Trump or a first attempt to oust Attorney General William Barr.
“Well, we have our options,” Pelosi said. “We have arrows in our quiver that I’m not about to discuss right now.” . . .
Democrats have tried before to expand the court to no avail and Democratic presidential nominee, Joe Biden, whose signature as president would be required to move forward with an act expanding the number of seats on the Supreme Court says he opposes “court-packing,” according to The Wall Street Journal. He would have to be convinced the move was correct. . . .
According to Axios, Democrats are also considering two major changes to Congress itself that could work to keep them in control — and in the majority in both Houses — for years to come. “Adding Supreme Court justices … eliminating the Senate’s 60-vote threshold to end filibusters … and statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico,” are all on the table, Axios says.
“Democrats are talking anew about pushing statehood for D.C. and Puerto Rico. Capturing the anything-goes spirit among Democrats amid the Supreme Court fight, one party strategist texted me: ‘Guam want in?’” the outlet noted.
Ending the filibuster was already on the table before Ginsburg passed from complications of pancreatic cancer late Friday. As of early last week, Democrats were already compiling a “war room” tasked with laying the groundwork to wage an all-out war on the Senate filibuster in bullish anticipation of sweeping the 2020 election and passing an ambitious progressive agenda,” per NBC News.
“Veteran party operatives, activist groups and supportive senators are coordinating message and strategy to dial up the pressure to quickly end the 60-vote threshold early next year, fearing that preservation of the rule will enable Republicans to kill Joe Biden’s legislative agenda in its cradle,” the outlet added.
The White House says that it plans to announce Ginsburg’s potential replacement as early as Wednesday. McConnell has already said he plans to shepherd the nominee through the process and have a new Supreme Court Justice confirmed by election day.

Ephesians 6:16 is the answer to Pelosi’s threat of a quiver full of arrows.
Politicians that forget that they are in the position they have to “serve the people” WILL BE REMOVED in one way or another if they continue to ignore God publicly, politically and individually. Either the people will remove them or God will remove them in whatever way he chooses.
Arrogance and pride have saturated so many members of our government and particularly one party. Just examine how they vote and what their new party platform states because that is what they believe in and vote for policywise. The contrast is often like looking at heaven and hell.
There was a period of time that the line was being drawn in the sand slowly. But in the last 3 years and specifically the last year, that line was drawn fast and completed. And in doing so, God has said “who will you serve”? And we, as Christians, must be bold and straightforward in asking our elected officials the same question.
May God empower us to do just that.

Lord I thank you that the enemy has exposed its own agenda because your light is peeling back the cover of darkness in high places. Because of their arrogance I pray the humidity of their hubris swells every arrow in their quiver rendering it ineffective against their targets. May their bows break from the stress of their grievances foisted upon those who bring Your will to the nation. May every dart and arrow fall short from its target and may the army of truth prevail in this nation once again under the scales of justice, the likes of which we have not witnessed since the days of Solomon. May our next Supreme Court Justice be blessed with wisdom as Solomon had and may ineffective justices be converted to integrity and fidelity of that office. amen

Warrior God, you know all about war and you are a Master Strategist. You know how to outflank your enemies. There are those in our government that do not want peace. As the Psalmist said in Ps. 120
Too long have I lived
among those who hate peace. I am for peace;
but when I speak, they are for war.
We will not fear, we will not back down, we will stand firm and see the deliverance of the Lord for our nation. We do not pray small, Lord, we pray big. We pray you would give President Trump second term a 2nd term that is peaceful.
May he be a man of peace and rest, and “I will give him rest from all his enemies on every side. His name will be Solomon,[a] and I will grant Israel peace and quiet during his reign.” 1 Chron. 22
I believe that they are trying to intimidate people into submission. They have been planning to do these things all along. We must pray against this and pray that good people see through this and resist and stay strong against these tactics of the enemy.

Father God, help us to remember what Satan said in Job 1.
The Lord said to Satan, “Where have you come from?”
Satan answered the Lord, “From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.” Satan’s power is limited. His area is limited. But, YOU, Lord fill the earth and the heavens. Your power is unlimited. You are the only one who is perfectly good; therefore, you can be trusted with all-power. Raise up the good to be in power in our nation. Cast down the evil who are in power, we pray. In Jesus Name.

Lord, put on your armor, arise from your throne and quench every fiery dart of the wicked one. Fight for us. Shield our leaders and your intercessors and their families that we will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the enemy. May the nations see all you have done for us. Bring revival to America and to the world for the glory of your name! In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

LORD, we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. We pray for those on the front lines of this battle to be strong in You and in your mighty power. We cover them (and us) in your armor so we will be able to stand firm against ALL strategies of the devil. We cover President Trump, VP Pence, the Senate Judicial Committee, the Senate, AG Barr, SCJ Kavanaugh, potential SCJ Amy Coney Barrett, all other potential nominees, and all others working to fill this Supreme Court seat along with their family members with every piece of your armor so they will be able to resist the enemy in this time of evil. Then after the battle help them to still be standing firm. Have them stand their ground, gird their loins with the belt of truth, cover their bodies with the breast plate of your righteousness. We asked for their feet to be shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Above all we hold up the shield of faith for them whereby every fiery arrow of the evil one against these leaders who are doing your bidding will be quenched. We take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God and protect them and ourselves; we pray always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; And for these leaders that utterance may be given unto them, that they may open their mouths boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel, for which they are under attack, that they may speak boldly, as they ought to speak.
We pray for our Democratic leaders who are being used by the evil one to launch these fiery darts against your people who are called by your name. Have mercy on their souls. Open the eyes of their understanding so they may behold your glory. Open up they eyes of all Americans. Remove the wicked from office and replace them with individuals who are called by your name.
Send forth your truth, your lightning flashes, to all Americans. Revive us again. Use these perilous times to bring all people to know you are God, you are our delight, you are pleasant, gracious, lovely, full of mercy and grace and ready to forgive. We have been ruthlessly oppressed for many years. We see persecution rising. We cry out to you, our Lord and our God, for help. Rise up from your throne, Mighty Lord, Wonderful Counselor, Everlasting Father, Prince of peace. Put on your armor and defeat the enemy of our souls for this battle for America, the world, and for this Supreme Court Justice Seat belongs to you. You are our only hope and we put our trust in you. Be merciful and bless us, smile your face of favor on us. May the whole earth see. May the nations praise you, oh God. Yes, may all the nations praise you. Let the whole world sing for joy, because you govern the nations with justice and guide the people of the whole world. Then the earth will yield its harvests, and our God, our God, will richly bless us. Yes, God will bless us, and the people all over the world will fear you. Thank you for all you have done, are doing, and will do on our behalf and in behalf of the world! We worship you and give you all the glory! In Jesus name we pray, Amen.
