Republican members of Congress who voted against certifying Joe Biden’s presidential victory, even after a mob broke into the Capitol, are being denounced by critics in their home districts who demand that they resign or be ousted.
Protesters, newspaper editorial boards and local-level Democrats have urged the lawmakers to step down or for their colleagues to kick them out. . . .
Madison Cawthorn “needs to be held accountable for his seditious behavior and for the consequences resulting from said behavior,” a group of Democratic officials wrote in a letter asking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to expel the North Carolina freshman who took his oath of office on Jan. 3.
Cawthorn said he had a constitutional duty to vote against Biden. He condemned the violence in Wednesday’s attack, but compared it to last summer’s protests over police brutality. A Capitol police officer died and an officer shot and killed a woman in the mob. . . .
Pelosi and other Democratic leaders in Congress are pushing to have President Donald Trump impeached for encouraging the insurrection and refusing to act to stop the violence. . . .
Most previous expulsions have been for members who backed the Confederacy during the Civil War or for taking bribes. In St. Louis on Saturday, several hundred people protested against Sen. Josh Hawley, the first-term Missouri Republican who led efforts in the Senate to overturn Biden’s election. . . .
A caravan of about 40 cars circled Sen. Ron Johnson’s office in Madison, Wisconsin, urging him to resign. Johnson initially supported Trump’s baseless claims of election fraud, but after the riot, he voted in favor of Biden’s win. . . .
The Houston Chronicle, long a critic of Sen. Ted Cruz, said in an editorial that the Republican knew exactly what he was doing and what might happen when he took to the Senate floor to dispute the election results.
“Those terrorists wouldn’t have been at the Capitol if you hadn’t staged this absurd challenge to the 2020 results in the first place,” the newspaper wrote. Cruz has called the attack a despicable act of terrorism, but he continues to push for a commission to investigate the presidential election.
In Alabama, the Decatur Daily called for local Rep. Mo Brooks to resign. The York Dispatch in Pennsylvania said congressman Scott Perry is “a disgrace to Pennsylvania and our democracy,” and if he still believes Biden’s election is fraudulent, he should resign because that means his election was bogus too. Perry condemned the Capitol violence. . . .
The invading Trump loyalists “confronted security personnel, and there were injuries and even deaths,” the paper’s editorial board wrote. “And you are just as guilty as they were.”

Lord, we pray for your protection for those few Republican legislators who stood for the truth about last year’s Presidential election. Because they stood for truth against the lies that have been spread for months about the results of the election, their lives and the lives of their families are now in danger from evil men like those who sought to overthrow our government. Lord Jesus, we pray against the spirit of lying and deception that has invaded the White House and deceived many of your children. We intercede for President Trump that he may come to repentance and be forgiven through your mercy and grace. In Jesus Name, Amen.
Lord, give Your divine protection for each official who stood for truth. Let Your peace be their comfort. Lord, restore sanity to this nation, root out evil, expose corruption. We turn humbly to You, our refuge.
We pray that these patriotic and God fearing congressmen will be honored and kept safe from these evil critics.

All 6 of the Representatives from Alabama voted in favor of the objection and our newly elected Senator, Tommy Tuberville. So, this is so ludicrous. We could just vote them back in. They are truly courageous. I pray God would fill the chambers of Congress with brave and courageous men & women who are willing to stand for truth, freedom, and the Constitution. The basic point of the Constitution is that EACH American is the POLITICAL EQUAL of every other. A mature understanding of politics accepts that reasonable minds may differ about any political choice. That difference of opinion is not to be punished, but respected as a difference among political equals.
The design of our Constitution is to achieve consensus among political equals. Our current political division is clear evidence of our country’s failure to do that.The failure to seek consensus is a far more significant danger to our system of government than the fact that someone you did not respect was president, or that he and his supporters now use PROCESSES THAT ARE IN THE CONSTITUTION to remedy what they think is not a free and fair election.
Whoever won this election would not lose it with a recount following what was at best a messy election process conducted during a pandemic. In fact, the winner would gain, because it would remove any reasonable objection by the public to the election’s outcome. It would have been statesmanship if both parties supported inquiries into the apparent irregularities.

What Joe Biden and the Democrat Party are doing, is no different than what Nazi Germany and Adolf Hitler did. They are doing some of the exact same things that Adolf Hitler did against his political rivals.
Hitler was able to take full control of all propaganda against all political enemies. He controlled all communication, not allowing the truth to be heard. Sounds very familiar with all the censorship going on now with Big Tech in America.

That July, the government passed a law stating that the Nazi Party “constitutes the only political party in Germany,” and within months all non-Nazi parties, trade unions and other organizations had ceased to exist.
They are just like Adolf Hitler in that they want absolute power and want to destroy their political opponents.

1. President Trump stated in his speech to his supporters to “peacefully and patriotically make your voices be heard.” The media has censored those words!
2. Congress had a constitutional duty to vote against an unconstitutional election. Art 1 Sec 4 says only state legislatures can change a state’s election laws but in many states the governor or secretary of state changed those laws!

Lord, we cry out to You to help these godly men who have laid their lives on the line to right what has been wrong for too many years. We have been lied to and betrayed by evil people. The veil is removed and we are seeing corrupt and evil things done by many people. Evil has run rampant and needs to be stopped.
These men are standing up for truth and righteousness and the constitution of our country. Strengthen and protect and guide them this day. Bring down the evil regime. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and boldness. Raise up people to stand with them.
Protect our President and his family. Guide with wisdom, give him peace as he makes decisions. Help him hear what You tell him is best to do at any given moment.
Save our country. Save our people. Pour out Your Spirit and wake people up to see what is true. Separate truth from lies. Continue to expose and remove evil and evil doers.
Bring peace as well as judgment where it is needed.

Dear Lord, we are so thankful for the people who are following your helper, the Holy Spirit. Please continue to lead those who are being attacked to keep taking a stand in doing the right thing. Thank you that these people put the needs of others in wanting to do the right thing, and I pray you give them the strength and courage to stay in “Your” righteousness. I also thank you for those government leaders who took a stand against the egregious Election Fraud that took place. Remove the scales from the eyes of the ones who do not see the truth. Lord, I pray for Madison Cawthorn, this young man who has been so courageous to stand for what is righteous. Continue to give him strength and wisdom, cover him with your wings and send angels to guard his steps. I ask that you watch over each of the lawmakers mentioned in this article. Send your warring angels to their offices and homes to keep them and their families safe. Encourage them, give them wisdom, keep them strong to stand every day for what is right and true in your eyes. Help their faith, draw them closer to You, by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you for guiding them and for giving us good, and honest lawmakers like them. Let them be a light that shines in the darkness.
