- The declaration comes as cops across the US continue to leave their posts in droves over COVID vaccine mandates on city workers
- DeSantis, an outspoken opponent of vaccine and mask mandates, urged officers facing mandates to come to his state, where he says they will be better valued
- NYPD, Minneapolis, Seattle, if you’re not being treated well, we’ll treat you better here,’ the governor said Sunday during an interview on Fox News Channel
