Conservative talk radio icon Rush Limbaugh has died of cancer. He was 70.

The announcement of Limbaugh’s death was made on his show Wednesday by wife Kathryn.

“Rush will forever be the greatest of all times,” she said, also calling him “courageous” and “the hardest working man I knew.”

Among the first to honor Limbaugh was former President Trump. . . .

Limbaugh was a pioneer in conservative talk news radio. He was battling Stage-IV cancer at the time of his death and had been off the air for about a week.

Limbaugh announced his illness in January 2020. . . .

Former Trump adviser Boris Epstein within minutes of the announcement of Limbaugh’s death praise his work and offered sympathy, calling his a “true American giant” and saying, “Rest in peace.” . . .

Sean Hannity, who hosts a conservative-leaning commentary show for the Fox channel, said, “There is no talk radio as we know it without Rush Limbaugh. … just heartbreaking.” . . .

Rush became more outspoken about his personal relationship with the Lord and the importance of it to his life.
He caught the hidden agendas of politicians quickly and called out “evil doers” without fear.
I will miss him like an old , trusted friend.
Rest in peace , my friend.

Lord please help someone to take his place. We need a strong and wise conservative view talking with us as we move forward in a difficult time. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen

Thank you for Rush’s bold and uncompromising voice that inspired millions for decades. We pray that his example will inspire many to step forward and join in proclaiming the truth and to contend with the lunacy of political correctness. We are grateful that he is at peace with you Lord.

This is a sad day. I listened to Rush since the 80’s just out of college. I was already a Christian and a conservative. But he taught me more about my country and its founding than I learned in civics/government. I loved his silly parodies –especially Spatula City! He helped me keep my head straight when I went through a very liberal graduate program during 9/11. (one of my professors tried to ram it down our throats that 9/11 was a conspiracy!)
Father I thank you that today you took Rush home and healed him completely. It’s exciting to think that he will be a part of the great crowd of witnesses (Hebrews 12:1) who gets to watch all of us in our race and cheer us on! Father, enjoy him. Please comfort his wife Kathryn, his family and co-workers. Father please in his place raise up many more brave leaders who are NOT ASHAMED of our country and more importantly, NOT ASHAMED of You. “It is better to be in the house of mourning..” Ecclesiastes 7:2. It is good because we all need to take a look at our own personal messages we give to the world..May we all give our kids and grand-kids truth and hope like Rush did.

I’m so sorry and sad to hear that Mr. Limbaugh left us so soon. I remember back when I first heard people saying how much they loved him and thought what a strange name – Rush; but once I listened he became a favorite of mine. I could always count on first rate information from his show and loved his humor ….”my brain tied behind my back” and his pretend bravado. Our eyes are fixed on you Lord Jesus. Please raise up new leaders to carry on the fight that Mr. Limbaugh led in so many ways. Rush will be greatly missed and is a huge loss to us here on earth.
