President Trump explicitly stated his intentions to restore a love for America through the teaching of American history from a patriotic perspective. On Thursday, September 17, 2020, the President the first White House Conference on American History. He said, “We must clear away the twisted web of lies in our schools and classrooms and teach our children the magnificent truth about our country.”
President Trump’s declaration on American history made a political impact and he drew a spiritual line in the sand when he said, “We are here today to declare that we will never submit to tyranny. We will reclaim our history and our country for citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed.“
Immediately those who dominate the current version of this country’s history in our public schools flung a barrage of hateful accusations at the President, denying the problem of inaccurate history even exists in our schools. David Jackson, writing for USA Today, said, “Trump is failing his own test of history in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, an economic crisis, climate change, and the most compelling call for racial justice in generations.” USA Today’s article accused President Trump of being a dictator and following in Putin’s footsteps.
One spiritually significant proclamation instigated by William Wilberforce was issued in 1787. England was in a time of moral decadence with overfilled debtors’ prisons, massive child labor, rampant prostitution, and legal slavery. Wilberforce convinced King George III to issue a Proclamation for the Encouragement of Piety and Virtue to be read to every congregation in England on the same Sunday. As a result, England eradicated slavery and experienced a revival of morals.
The fact that anti-American history has been taught in our schools is undeniable. No longer confined to the four walls of a schoolroom, we have visible evidence of the spirit of lawlessness in our streets, resulting from our schools teaching Marxist ideology. We face a history desert in our schools, not just by the omission of history in the past, but also because our colleges are not training qualified history teachers to fill our classrooms. In 2000, the American Council of Trustees and Alumni (ACTA) conducted a report, Losing America’s Memory. They found that college seniors at fifty-five of the most prestigious colleges and universities in the nation had a blatant ignorance of American history. Eighty-one percent of seniors from the top 55 colleges and universities received a grade of D or F. They could not identify Valley Forge, or words from the Gettysburg Address, or even the basic principles of the U.S. Constitution.
Along with President Trump’s Proclamation, he also announced that he would soon sign an Executive Order establishing a national commission to promote patriotic education, called the 1776 Commission.
The President has done his part, and now it is up to the intercessors to pray into this transformation. We must honor the President’s line in the sand and engage in the spiritual warfare needed to win this battle. We are at a tipping point in our educational system. A call to prayer has been issued. Being spiritually alert, we recognize the urgency of the moment. It is time to enter into a spiritual battle to instill within our future generations a sense of destiny for our nation.
The task ahead will not be easy; for over 50 years, the leftists have dominated our classrooms and taken advantage of the history and civics vacuum in our curricula. Their doctrine, entrenched in the minds of our students, will require declarations and prayers that are not for the casual intercessor. The President has opened up the way for us, and now it is up to God’s people to take on the task to see that the tide turned, and our teachers, once again, teaching history that includes our Judeo-Christian values.
Today, we proclaim a reversal of the curse of lack of knowledge of America’s history among our students. We declare a turn-around in our schools. Our children will learn God’s ways and the ways He has saved this nation and brought us prosperity and peace. We declare His goodness over our land.

As a “timeless course in the guiding principles that form the bedrock of our Constitution,” it is an excellent resource for scholars, home schoolers, and intercessors alike.
Dear Father,Thank You that Pres. Trump has signed an executive order to teach the truth regarding American history in our schools. This is a huge task and seems impossible except except that You are God and nothing is impossible for You. We are so sorry,Lord, for allowing the Left to take over our schools. A large percentage of our textbooks in our schools are put out by a Middle Eastern company with an American name. They denigrate both America and Christianity. Let’s change that!
Dear ones, let it be that when our education system in the public system has slide of course in the area of history or anything else for that matter, it is not complaining or blaming per say, it is waking up and examining what has and is happening and then combating it by speaking out and taking action in whatever the Lord leads you. it may be through prayer only, then do that. ask Him for wisdom, He says to us He will give it to us liberally. But, just grumbling and complaining is ones only action, grieves the Lord. his words were very harsh to the Israelites in the desert for this! let us all examine ourselves In this issue of our countries education period and repent if needed so we can be part of the solution, not the problem. I myself am convicted that after 50years my knowledge on history is pretty foggy to say the least. That is why I tune into Faith in History, moderator, William Federer..he lets us learn history like no one I know! he makes history exciting. he has many books, [email protected]. Miracles in history is amazing, too. he is on Christian tv. Tune in you will be amazed. Lord forgive us when we have neglected being watchman on the wall, the enemy never sleeps, he is like a roaring lion whom he may devour. Helps us to be vigilant, aware and cut him off In his tactics, schemes, actions in the authority you have given us in Jesus name. For now… There are many really good history curriculums that you can purchase on your own to teach your children real history until we can get it back into our schools.
“Down with the ‘wedcoats- UP WITH LIVERTY!” my three year old grandson declares after being read a portion of The Incredible Adventures of Rush Revere.
Watching impressionable kids get excited about history is one of the most encouraging aspects of teaching and passing down more than oral histories for they are written and must be preserved not destroyed.
Praying for and thanking God for men like David Barton and Rush Limbaugh for sharing history with the youth of this nation. Grandparents and Sunday School teachers are filling in the gaps of an educational system held hostage by the ACLU, atheists and socialist groups determined to wipe out the lessons learned from history.
I pray Lord that our children will be rescued from indoctrination of the occult and identity confusion and be influenced by godly people who love your truth. amen

On October 24, the National Constitution Bee will be held. I understand that there are not a lot of applicants from 8th to 12th grade for the Constitution Bee held in Brentwood, TN. I was very happy to hear of this 1776 Commission. It is important for people to read “primary” or original documents and then discuss from them, rather than reading someone’s interpretation of those documents. If you are interested in learning more for yourself, there is an organization called Wallbuilders led by David Barton that is an excellent source for primary documents.
WOW!!! After all these years, has the written history of this country been nothing but lies? Am I understanding this correctly? It is sad to believe that God would raise America to the greatness that she is and it is all based on lies. Now, in 2020, President Trump has the truth? Is he going to rewrite history? Why are the parents not going to the school systems and refusing to go along with this? How were the ‘twisted communists’ able to infiltrate our school systems?
Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, Your Word does not teach we should punish and blame the children for their parents wrongdoing. Your Word does not teach we should punish one generation for the
sins of another generation. One person cannot apologize for another person’s wrongdoing. Your Son, became the perfect sacrifice for all sin. The forgiveness He gave and won is the answer for all hurts and injustice.
Lord, Principalities and Powers of Darkness like for us to become bitter, complaining, unforgiving about past injustices, and like for us to hang onto them so a cloud hangs over our lives. The cloud dampens our enthusiasm and zest for life. Christians lights are dimmed that should shine forth the forgiveness, hope, and promises of the Gospel message. We should let the dead past, bury its dead”. How does it profit anyone to

Lord if someone is going for Truth in all sincerity, I believe that is a good thing. Let the truth be written in the history books. Every civilization has experienced the “good” and bad”. Lord, a document such as the Constitution, is only as good as the people administering it. Some people had good motives, others did not;, and abused and chose to misinterpret its tenets. Lord, we can’t change the past. Grant us the wisdom to
set aside our inclination towards resentment and unforgiveness for past injustices, and on an individual basis
be a person who reflects the forgiveness and love of Jesus. Amen
Having 3 daughters who are now teachers, it is horrifying to see how America’s history has been butchered and blatantly disrespected by liberal teachers and professors. As moms, dads, aunts, uncles, grandparents and Christians, we Must rise up at this time and intercede for the hearts and minds of our children and this great nation. Dear Father God, it is good we have a man in office that hears You & sees Your love for this country as the shinning city on the hill. May our children learn the true history of the founding of this country & the Constitution. The constitution was written with You at it’s center. You are needed in our schools to protect our children. Grant parents wisdom in this matter. When prayer was in school, You were there to protect them. Amen, God this is one of my biggest concerns with one of my 3 children educated in public schools and the other two in a Christian school. There was and is a stark contrast. However Christian education is not off the hook. Many kids are still ignorant of our system of government and basic documents which is unacceptable. God help us to turn the tide. These words that I am giving you today are to be on your heart. Bind them as a sign on your hand and let them be a symbol on your forehead. Write them on the door post of your house and on your gates.” We have left our children to the state and the state has kicked You out of the public square. We are reaping what we have sown. Lord, You are the only Faithful One. Only You can turn our hearts from selfishness to selflessness! Your Word reminds us that only You can change the heart of a king! We need heart changes. We need to humbly confess our sins and renew a right relationship with You! Make us a people that longs to experience Your grace and mercy! Ps 24 “Who May ascend to the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in His Holy place? The one who has clean hands and pure heart, who has not set his mind on what is false, and who has not sworn deceitfully. He will receive the Blessing from the Lord and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” Hear our cries, oh Lord! Wake the hearts of Your children. Grant us wisdom, discernment, perseverance and strength! Lord, be glorified in this mess we have brought on ourselves! Be magnified and exalted! Hear the hearts of Your people in praise and worship! We love You and we trust in You alone!

Well said about our constitution.it should be upheld by all means. One question, in the Constitution were black people considered property? Also they were only considered three-fifth a person,so in essence that class of people does not exist. But the God I serve says He created each and everyone. So I ask sincerely what part is twisted and would please ask a response.

Didnt you learn about the emancipation proclamation and the amendments that corrected those wrongs? Goodness! Slavery was wrong but it’s been gone for 150 years.
Sally, Tragically, since the Fall into sin, we have practiced “slavery” to this every day. Islam believes “it is the will of Allah” thus submit to your human Muslim male masters. Sadly, in northern Africa Christians are being killed, rape, and enslaved by Islamic warring tribes. Sadly laws written on the books do not translate to stopping sin, only curbing it. Just think if we call kept God’s Moral law as summarized in the 10 Commandments what a “perfect” world/society we would be.
