I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we ask that you give our leaders divine wisdom, courage and insight to handle the ambitions of Russia and China. Let your will, not the Enemy’s will, prevail in the earth!

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine has startled the world and forced the U.S. to decide whether helping Ukraine is worth the potential repercussions of war with Russia.

Unfortunately, the U.S. may be forced to make the same decision with China, which has long lusted after Taiwan with the same greed and nationalist zeal with which Vladimir Putin has eyed Ukraine.

Could we cede major strategic nations to two of our biggest adversaries, or even worse, could we get dragged into war with Russia, China, or both?

Insider Intercessory Information

I spoke with a defense expert in Washington, D.C. this week who confirmed that Taiwan and Ukraine bear many similarities.

Taiwan is a Democratic Republic that is friendly to the U.S. and is arguably one of our biggest allies in East Asia, along with Japan and South Korea. Our strategic and economic partnerships with Taiwan help us hold China at bay, similar to our work with Ukraine. Also, Taiwan has a long, tangled history with China, as does Ukraine with Russia.

While they have a much smaller land mass than China, Taiwan’s economy is actually quite strong. The U.S. has strong ties with Taiwan in trade and diplomatic relations. Historically, the U.S. has put navy troop carriers between China and Taiwan. Today, that could likely lead to war.

The world has been quick to sanction and boycott Russia over their invasion, but doing the same to China would be much more difficult. China is a major producer, and the global community relies on their markets and workforce. In short, exerting the same economic pressure towards China could be very costly to Western nations.

Fighting a two-front economic war would raise the stakes even more and likely push Russia and China into greater cooperation, which would be devastating for the West.

So the question is, will China be emboldened to take Taiwan because of Russia’s aggression?

Let the intercessors rally to determine the fate of nations.

With that in mind, let us pray:

-Father, we pray that you would bring peace in Ukraine, help the refugees, and hold back Russia’s aggression.

-Lord, we ask that you give our leaders divine wisdom, courage and insight to handle the ambitions of Russia and China. Let your will, not the Enemy’s will, prevail in the earth!

-Holy Spirit, as we draw nearer to the Last Day, we ask that you bring revival in your church and harvest in the earth. Let the church in America thrive in hard times, not wilt. Do what you do best, Holy Spirit!

Verses to Press into as you intercede on this issue:

Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain? The kings of the earth rise up and the rulers band together against the Lord and against his anointed, saying, “Let us break their chains and throw off their shackles.” The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them. (Psalm 2:1-4)

How sad that for years our previous leaders have been selling out our country to China one business deal at a time. We need to get our supply chain back here on U.S. soil, something that the previous administration was starting to do as they stood up to China with trade deals and then China unleashed the virus on the world and kept silent. We are in a beholden position to a tyrant, to our enemy and we put ourselves (well our leaders did) in this position. This probably explains why we shout about human rights here at home but stand by in silence while China’s government commits atrocity after atrocity on its own citizens and the world. Money talks louder than the cries of the oppressed, I guess. We can’t sanction China as long as they own us, as long as our leaders, the Bidens and others are in business and in bed with this communist regime. There is no religious freedom in China, only religious persecution. “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” What harmony is there between Christ and Belial?” (2 Corinthians 6:14-15) http://www.mtothe5th.wordpress.com

Great article and prayer, Casey. This is exactly what is supposed to happen in the Last Days-Wars and rumors of wars. I find it very sad that we have such an impotent Administration in D.C. They really have no clue as to what they can, and need, to be doing. They seem to be far more focused on what they can do to undermine American power and sovereignty than stepping up and being a vital part of the international political/economic community. We need to focus on, and trust in, the Lord. We need to focus on intercession. Our hope is in the Lord Jesus, not on man-made circumstances. These are temporary, and subject to change. The Lord Almighty NEVER changes!!!

Thank you, the prayer of agreement is mighty and powerful, pulling down strongholds, powers, principalities and anything that exalts itself against the mighty name of God!!!
