Boston Children’s Hospital offers what it describes as a “full suite of surgical options for transgender teens and young adults,” sharing a video earlier this year proudly detailing what a “gender-affirming” hysterectomy entails.
An April video posted to the Boston Children’s Hospital’s YouTube channel features attending physician Frances Grimstad, MD, MS, Division of Gynecology, detailing what she described as a “gender-affirming” hysterectomy, which the hospital is evidently open to performing on minors.
“Some gender-affirming hysterectomies will also include the removal of the ovaries, but that’s technically a separate procedure called a bilateral oophorectomy, and not every gender-affirming hysterectomy includes that, and people who are getting gender-affirming hysterectomies do not have to have their ovaries removed,” she added.
Upon further review, it appears Boston Children’s Hospital prides itself on offering what it describes as an “LGBTQ affirming environment” for patients, expressing commitment to “providing comprehensive and affirming treatment to our lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) patients and families.”
Further, the hospital’s website features a section devoted to its Center for Gender Surgery for children which offers “gender affirmation surgery services” for “eligible adolescents and young adults.” The hospital touts the surgery center as the “first center of its kind in the U.S. in a major pediatric hospital setting.”
“As the first pediatric center in the country dedicated to the surgical care of transgender patients, we take an interdisciplinary approach from the start to ensure exceptional patient care,” the hospital states, bragging of its team of specialists who “collaborate to provide a full suite of surgical options for transgender teens and young adults.” The hospital appears to be particularly proud of its anesthesia team, which it says provides “culturally sensitive care to the gender-diverse community.”
According to the website, the surgery center offers a range of “gender-affirming” surgeries to adolescents, including chest reconstructions, breast augmentations, facial harmonizations, vaginoplasties, metoidioplasties, phalloplasties, “and other gender affirmation surgeries to eligible patients.”
While the hospital states that it follows World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) guidelines to treat individuals who are proven to be “stable” in their chosen gender, it adds that one does not need be a Gender Management Servie (GeMS) patient to have surgery at the hospital’s Center for Gender Surgery.
“Founded in 2007,” the hospital’s site explains, “GeMS was the first major program in the U.S. to focus on treating gender-expansive and transgender adolescents. Since that time, we have expanded our program to welcome patients from ages 3 to 25.”
The willingness to surgically address a child’s gender dysmorphia is controversial nationwide as the radical left continues to push woke gender ideology on children in classrooms. Florida is among the states that has openly challenged the “science” of transgenderism. With the consultation of experts, a 45-page report from Florida Medicaid “concludes that sex reassignment surgeries, puberty blockers, and cross sex hormone treatments for people with gender dysphoria are not proven as ‘safe or effective’ treatments and are ‘experimental and investigational,’” as Breitbart News detailed. . . .

How in the world could anyone who has taken the Hippocratic Oath think that altering the developmental and reproductive abilities from a child as NOT doing harm? How does a child make the determination that they will never want to be a parent? Shame on you!
LORD, thank you for creating us. “We are fearfully and wonderfully made.” Open the eyes of the innocent youth in this nation that they may see the evil that is happening before them. Help them run from it as fast as they can until you Lord Jesus. Amen
I am grieved. What was once a hospital that excelled in care for children and looked to their best interests is now fallen into the lies of the enemy and has been deceived. Where are the Christian doctors, nurses, administrators? Surely there are some within the hospital.
Father in heaven, I pray for eyes to be opened and hearts to receive the truth, the one and only truth, Jesus Christ. Protect our children, awaken the parents and reach them in a way in which only you can do. Expose and destroy the enemy within. Unbelievable! I had adenomyosis a very painful condition that affects the uterus. It was very controversial to give me a hysterectomy at the time because of the life long impact of hormones on the body! This is just so wrong on so so many levels. Lord haver mercy! Prevent the pain being brought as affirming to our nations youth! Open their eyes and remove the veil, please Lord! Protect our nations youth who are about to undergo untold suffering! Bring more leaders to forefront like Gov. DeSantis to stand up against these atrocities!
This article sealed proof to me that we are dealing with the demons of perversion, likewise deception and witchcraft as cited in the previous article on cults. Surely the medical practitioners are perverted away from all they have learned about human (and even animal) biology, and have been totally deceived about their own “superior knowledge”!! Transgenderism is a subset of transhumanism and anti God beliefs. It is open rebellion against our Creator, saying we are not satisfied with how He made us and we want to remake ourselves in our own image, even though we were each one “fearfully and wonderfully” created in God’s image. We are God’s masterpieces/workmanship – that’s truth from His word. But our culture is believing the lies of the enemy regarding our identity and whose we are and teaching these lies to our children leaving them confused and broken, searching for an identity apart from their Creator, God. Consequently, they will never be at rest or at peace because nothing but relationship with our Creator allows us to know who we are and fulfill our God given destiny. Apart from God, life has no meaning or purpose. We were made for the eternal. The temporal will never satisfy. The whole transgender movement is based on lies. Only God’s eternal truth will set all those held captive by this destructive philosophy free. “Then you will know the truth and the truth will set you free.” Truth defeats lies. God’s Word is truth. His Holy Spirit leads us into all truth. Lord God, You are the only hope for all the children enslaved by the lies of this movement. How SICK this enemy is!!! Please have the children and the parents stay away from any hospital or facility that has anything to do with removing parts of their bodies !!! FOR WHAT!!!
