Border Debate Intensifies Amid Crime, Deportation, and Amnesty Questions
A series of recent immigration-related cases is raising renewed concerns about public safety, sanctuary policies, and the future of President Donald Trump’s immigration agenda. From violent crimes allegedly committed by illegal immigrants to reports of internal discussions about possible legal status for some migrants, these stories underscore the stakes of America’s ongoing border and deportation debate.

Recent reports from The National Pulse highlight several troubling cases involving illegal immigrants accused or convicted of serious crimes. In Colorado, Egyptian national Mohamed Sabry Soliman was sentenced to life in prison after pleading guilty to first-degree murder for firebombing a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder, an attack that killed 82-year-old Karen Diamond and injured a dozen others. Prosecutors said Soliman was motivated by a desire to “kill all Zionist people.”
In Wisconsin, Nicaraguan illegal immigrant Julio Cesar Morales Jarquin was charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault involving elderly residents at a nursing home in Dane County, a sanctuary jurisdiction. According to the report, Morales Jarquin entered the country under the Biden administration’s parole policies, and Immigration and Customs Enforcement has urged local officials not to release him back into the community.
Federal immigration enforcement has also intersected with child protection concerns. U.S. Customs and Border Protection recently raided five cruise ships in San Diego, including a Disney cruise ship, arresting 28 foreign crew members accused of receiving, possessing, transporting, distributing, or viewing child sexual exploitation material. Officials said the suspects’ visas have since been canceled and that they will be removed from the United States.
At the same time, sanctuary policies and local decisions continue to complicate federal enforcement efforts. In Minnesota, Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison joined the Minnesota Board of Pardons in granting clemency to Xayasounethone Chandee, an illegal immigrant from Laos with assault convictions, in a move federal officials say could shield him from deportation. The Department of Homeland Security condemned the decision, while federal authorities may challenge it in court.
The Department of Justice is also investigating Fairfax Commonwealth’s District Attorney Steve Descano over allegations that his office gave preferential treatment to illegal immigrants in prosecutorial decisions. Assistant Attorney General Harmeet Dhillon said the DOJ will examine whether the office engaged in unlawful discrimination by considering immigration consequences when making charging and plea decisions.
Meanwhile, Border Czar Tom Homan recently acknowledged that President Trump and members of his Cabinet are discussing the possibility of granting some form of legal status to certain illegal immigrants. While Border Czar Homan did not endorse any specific plan, his comments have sparked concern among conservatives who support mass deportations and stronger immigration enforcement.
Together, these developments reveal the deep tension at the heart of America’s immigration debate. On one hand, law enforcement officials are working to remove dangerous criminals and restore order after years of border chaos. On the other hand, sanctuary policies, progressive prosecutors, and talk of compromise continue to raise fears that the nation may fail to fully confront the consequences of illegal immigration.
As intercessors, we should pray for both justice and compassion. America needs leaders who will protect the innocent, enforce the law, secure the border, and make decisions rooted in wisdom rather than political pressure.

One of the main aspects of the Jewish Law is that murder is SIN, no matter how it is justified. Of course, those how are unrighteous pay NO attention to what is right or wrong and thus do their own thing. Those of us who are righteous need to call these out for being unrighteous at their core.
I pray that conservative justice will prevail over unrepemtant hearts of immigrants. I pray judges will follow constitutional laws. I pray legislator’s wiall enact Constituonal lws in sanctuary cities and states. All in Jesus Name and Authority.
Lord, we are a nation that NEEDS YOUR HELP. The kind of help that only YOU can give. We are under siege. The enemy has come against us and we are left desolate. Our cities are being ravaged and many people are left alone and defeated. Father we have been so foolish. We have broken your law and forsaken your covenant and it has left us bleeding and wounded – from head to foot. Please God, turn our hearts back to you. As you did with Israel so often, Lord, you heard their cries and brought revival. Father, today we need revival! We desperately need a heaven sent, soul shaking, hell quaking revival the likes of which we have not seen in history. Only YOU can do such a thing for this people called Americans. We cannot manufacture an awakening of the magnitude that we need. Please come, Lord. Sweep through this country once again – from north to south , from east to west. and show your holiness to friend and foe alike, that YOUR name may be glorified on earth as it is in heaven, In the mighty name of Him who defeated death, hell and the grave. Thank you Jesus. To God be the glory. Amen
Amen!!
Amen
Amen
Why should we have to have a debate? To me, it’s a no-brainer. The illegal aliens need to be gone, plain and simple., especially those with a criminal record. Both justice and compassion are necessary in this process. It is truly unfortunate that these people were allowed to enter our nation. They just plain do NOT belong here-their presence in our nation constitutes a national security issue, Lord Jesus, may Your will prevail in this mess. Please give all of our leaders, Tom Homan included ,guidance and wisdom as to how to best proceed in the handling of this issue. Thank You Jesus.
I believe that mass deportations was a good campaign because of the previous Administrations lack of immigration policy enforcement which created the issues we have more than fixing them. The democrats would rather just open the border and say let everyone come in. Immigration system doesn’t need enforcement problem fixed.
The issue is that every country need immigration policy and foreign policy in order to protect their values and foundations especially here in America. You’ve got to have proper vetting and we’ve got to make sure these people are here for the right intentions and not to try and turn our country into theirs. The debate should be why isn’t the immigration system working? What do we need to do to fix it? Then fix it. More staffing, facilities, court judges who can help with legalization process to help them become legal law abiding citizens. I believe the crisis is real but it’s not the current Administrations fault.
It’s not inhumane to want mass deportations when they’re simply trying to fix something that shouldn’t have happened in the first place. That’s how a lot of us including the current administration but I think they’re trying to be reasonable. They know not all of the illegals who crossed are here with ill intentions.
I agree with the premise that let’s focus on criminal illegals first and by doing that this allows the process for those who are doing things right to become legal law abiding US Citizens. Then once that’s all caught up then they can focus more on deporting illegals who’s visas are expired and haven’t followed the policies. I really think that immigration should be done right. The people need to be willing to embrace the traditions of America and want our country to prosper if they truly want the American dream not only for themselves but also for generations to come. That’s how we all need to act honestly but also keeping the faith with the understanding that our country was founded upon Christian Judeo values. We may not agree on everything and have principles and morals that come from God but also laws that protect rights of those who don’t necessarily believe in God and have their own beliefs or make their own choices.
Like being gay/lesbian for example. I don’t agree with it at all it goes against everything I believe in but it’s their choice. Same applies for churches and Christian business’s they have to respect our religion and the choice not to make a wedding cake or hold a wedding ceremony if the practices goes against their beliefs. The couple should except it and move on. There’s other venues and bakeries.
One more example would be Abortion. I’m pro Life because I believe in creation and science backs it up. I believe Abortion is wrong and murder however there’s still that freedom of choice whether we like it or not. Which is the only reason why I’m pro choice. I do not support Abortion I try my best to support no profits that help provide a better choice and encouragement for women. That said they still have the freedom of choice and all we can do is let them know that Abortion shouldn’t be their #1 choice and that they’re not alone.
DEMONcrats support violent criminal illegals NOT my peaceful hardworking immigrants who are my neighbors. I suggest President Trump start housing violent criminal illegals in DEMONcrats, homes, businesses, Government offices, throughout the USA …. and remove all door locks (exterior and interior), remove guns and self defense items their VICTIMS didn’t have. I suggest a minimum of 1,000 criminals at each location. Free room and free meals. This should save us TAX PAYERS millions of dollars.
It is PAST time to secure the border rid the country of criminal illegal criminal aliens. Prosecute the criminal judges, prosecutors, senators and congressmen
I’ve been praying for the removal of all illegals that are here in America. They broke the law one way or another to get within our boarders and need to be removed. They are here living off our tax dollars with government assistance for years on end. They commit crimes in our homeland, fraud, stealing, robery, child molesting, human trafficking, race and murder.
They need to come legally, get the visa, have their own finances together in order to settle, once here get a job and given a set time like 3 years to show they are intfact productive and have adopted the laws of our land and abide by the laws before considered citizenship. Absolutely no Muslims should be allowed into our country.
In judgment we must also remember mercy Lord help us to do your will we are prone to wandering send your holy angels and help us fight for each other and the free nation, s. amen
Before the Biden administration allowed millions of illegals to come across our border, we were even then as a country dealing with how we should handle the immigration of illegals that were in our country. Most Americans, I believe would agree that those that came across the border illegally many years ago and settled in our country and became partners in loving our country, working hard, abiding by our laws (besides being illegal) and raising a family and enjoying the freedoms that we have here, we had no problem with our compassions of accepting them here. But there was always those bad apples that lived off our country full of lies and deceit, and just taking all they could get, all along hating our country which became an issue. But now, to add to the mix, with the millions that came across the borders in the 4 years of the Biden era were criminals, drug cartel, and those that were in prison and mental institutes that have infiltrated our country, and now violently hurting the American people. So now with them, along with all those bad apples from the past it’s affecting our way of life. And all in the name of getting votes for the Democratic Party, who have turned to communistic/socialistic ideas, (by the way one of the tactics of supporting a one world government is by taking down borders) which totally goes against concentrating on making America great again. Of course we’re going to fight back on our knees to pray against these evil forces that are trying to take over our country and destroy it. And yet our compassionate side would naturally pray that God would protect those in the mix seeking His love and to live a better life and need God’s help. Our God can protect those ones supernaturally and help them to find their way. Prayer is powerful! Keep praying for God‘s truth to permeate our country. Godliness makes a nation great, but sin is a disgrace to any people. Proverbs 14:34.
Lord Jesus, we come against compromise in the name of securing votes. There has been several instances where promises made have not been promises kept. We pray for our leaders to continue on the path of truth, justice and righteousness on behalf of the future of our nation. Deliver us from evil. In Jesus name. Amen
