Lord, we pray that You give our governmental leaders wisdom in making these big decisions. Give them Your wisdom and guidance.

According to Breitbart, “The 5,593 page budget-busting bill was posted online Monday afternoon, only hours before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said a vote would be held.

For some countries, Christmas came early:

  • $169,739,000 to Vietnam, including $19 million to remediate dioxins (page 1476).
  • Unspecified funds to “continue support for not-for-profit institutions of higher education in Kabul, Afghanistan that are accessible to both women and men in a coeducational environment” (page 1477).
  • $198,323,000 to Bangladesh, including $23.5 million to support Burmese refugees and $23.3 million for “democracy programs” (page 1485).
  • $130,265,000 to Nepal for “development and democracy programs” (page 1485).
  • Pakistan: $15 million for “democracy programs” and $10 million for “gender programs” (page 1486).
  • Sri Lanka: Up to $15 million “for the refurbishing of a high endurance cutter,” which is a type of patrol boat (page 1489).
  • $505,925,000 to Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama to “address key factors that contribute to the migration of unaccompanied, undocumented minors to the United States” (pages 1490-1491).
  • $461,375,000 to Colombia for programs related to counternarcotics and human rights (pages 1494-1496).
  • $74.8 million to the “Caribbean Basin Security Initiative” (page 1498).
  • $33 million “for democracy programs for Venezuela” (page 1498).
  • Unspecified amount to Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago “for assistance for communities in countries supporting or otherwise impacted by refugees from Venezuela” (page 1499).
  • $132,025,000 “for assistance for Georgia” (page 1499).
  • $453 million “for assistance for Ukraine” (page 1500). . . .

Editor’s Note: Many, including Rep. Andy Biggs, are furious with the bill: . . .

According to Citizen Free Press and Fox Business, The Senate passes $892B coronavirus aid bill and sends it to Trump for signature.

  1. News tip— This package did NOT go thru as stated above. Check out one of the video’s on You Tube for details:
Trump signed with instructions for pelosi to do some changes… but it looks like we will still only get $600. in a “few weeks” and then MAYBE the $2000 later! But President TRUMP is determined for us to get it — so that is pretty sure it will happen!
GOD Bless you all — Please keep praying for our Americans most of the people who are in desperate need aren’t prayers, so they need our prayers. Thank you all.

    Amen! 2
  2. This is an example of why having at true vote count is extremely important. These people do not have to concern themselves with what the American voters want. They know how to guarantee they will be “voted back into office.”

DearHeavenly Father, May this evil deed be exposed and stopped for the sake of our children and grandchildren. In Jesus name we give all thanks and praise.

    Amen! 7
  3. First of all, something has to change when it comes to how these bills are passed. While I’m grateful for those reps who stand against passing this, it’s not enough. Bills with this much waste will bankrupt our nation. D.C. cannot continue to create garbage like this and then, by planned deception, expect to pass it within 2 hours. This is morally and fiscally wrong.
We DO NOT take care of other nations before we first take care of our own citizens. The people who are responsible for adding (throwing away) our money should be tried for crimes against the citizens of our nation.
It is completely possible to create bills separately – as the president has previously stated and pointed out. Money wasters like Schumer or Pelosi and their group of thieves want to “run the con” on people so that we become exasperated and give up. It will never affect them here because they have become wealthy through all their backroom criminal enterprises.
Lord God help our nation. A lot of people just don’t know where to start in dealing with this ongoing corruption. Save us. Help us to find the courage to face these people down and to bring them to justice. They are stealing billions of dollars from taxpayers. They are supposed to be making and exercising decisions, including monetary, on the condition that they represent the will of the people. The vast majority of our reps DO NOT do that!!
As I said, something has to change in how these bills are approved and it has to be a radical change. The people presently making these decisions are killing this nation.

    Amen! 11
  4. I am trying to understand why the COVID relief plan is only $600 per US citizen, yet includes $2,871,652,000+ for nonCOVID support to Vietnam; Bangladesh, Nepa, Pakistan, Sri Lanka,Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama, Columbia, Caribbean Basin, Venezuela, Ukraine, and with two unspecified amounts to Kabul, Afghanistan, and Georgia Colombia, Peru, Ecuador, Curacao, and Trinidad and Tobago, and Pakistan is slotted to receive an additional $10 million for “gender programs”. I’m sure there’s a lot more in the bill that is morally questionable. Last time we were informed that public funding of abortion was included. It’s not right that the bill is presented at the last minute with not enough time given to Congress to read it. I understand why the President is refusing to sign the bill.

Father these are the things that America does that greatly displeases You because we do not seek Your counsel. Changes need to be made in how we appropriate funding to domestic and foreign issues. We ask for the wisdom of Joseph in our leadership, to wisely collect and distribute support judiciously with morality and ethics. We pray that all spending proposals are carefully read, understood, and voted on based on moral values with sound financial budgets, and the addressing of issues that will bring You glory. We pray that our nation’s wealth would be used for good results to support our nation’s basic needs and for the support of foreign nations in need of a helping hand to get back on their feet. Our support to foreign nations should not include interior motives, bribes, and morally corrupt support. We pray for our government leadership that it has a heart after Your own heart. Even now Lord, grant our President, Mr. Trump the counsel and wisdom from Your heart on what he needs to do to correct this bill. We ask in Jesus name.

    Amen! 12
    1. The people responsible for sneaking and adding the waste do so by design. Especially the last minute “we only have 2 hours to pass this”. This is strictly by deceptive design.
As each year goes bye, we begin to see the absolute necessity of term limits for representatives.

      Amen! 10
