Precious Lord, we have seen the beginnings of a new Great Awakening among young people at Asbury University, at Auburn, among the students being baptized in the back of pick up trucks at the University of Georgia. May these acts of the Holy Spirit spread like wildfire across America and the world.
The need for you is so great, Lord.

Lord God, yesterday, Dutch Sheets’s message was Try Tears. Today, we are encouraged to intercede not just pray. Father, please teach us to intercede. Let us long to understand Your heart for our nation. Cause us to ache for the lost, whether they are our own prodigals or the easily mislead protestors for the latest progressive cause. Jesus, You died for them all. Holy Spirit, as a nation and individuals, we are desperate for Your touch. Truly, there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved, but Jesus. Come Lord Jesus, come. Set our nation aflame with love for You. Let us burn with holy passion. Touch the hearts of each generation. Help us to release anything that we are holding on to that is not You. Let us open our hands and relinquish everything other than You and Your desires. Then, let us reach up to heaven and embrace You and You alone. In Jesus’s holy name I pray.
