Questions about election integrity are once again making headlines, this time as reports from New Jersey and Ohio raise concerns about voter registration systems and the enforcement of election laws.

While the two situations are unrelated, both have prompted renewed debate about safeguards designed to ensure that only eligible citizens vote and that election-related organizations operate within the law.

From The Federalist:

ā€œWe have discovered hundreds of noncitizens who had been registered to vote,ā€ Giordano told The Federalist. ā€œSome counties have not yet provided all documents.ā€

Noncitizen voting in state and federal elections is illegal and could disqualify a noncitizen from obtaining citizenship.

A review of documents confirms that in one instance, a noncitizen who was registered to vote in Atlantic County claimed it was accidental due to language barriers. Another noncitizen requested to be removed from the voter rolls because he did ā€œnot understand how he became registered through the Department of Motor Vehicles, allegedly,ā€ a letter from Maureen G. Bugdon, Atlantic County Superintendent of Elections and Commissioner of Registration, said in a letter obtained by The Federalist.

The findings emerged after the New Jersey Republican Party sought records from county election officials regarding noncitizens who had requested removal from voter rolls. According to party officials, many of the cases came to light only because the individuals themselves reported the issue. Critics argue that the incidents expose weaknesses in the state’s voter registration process, particularly through interactions with the Motor Vehicle Commission.

The controversy has also renewed attention on the federal SAVE Act, legislation backed by Republicans that would require documentary proof of citizenship to register to vote in federal elections. Supporters contend the measure would prevent ineligible registrations before they occur, while opponents have raised concerns about access to the ballot and implementation challenges.

Questions about election administration are not limited to New Jersey. In Ohio, federal authorities are reportedly investigating a voter-registration organization, adding another chapter to the ongoing national debate over election security and voter confidence.

From The Daily Signal:

CBS News later reported on Friday that the FBI presented a search warrant, citing ā€œmultiple sources familiar with the matter,ā€ and noting that it was ā€ part of an ongoing fraud-related investigation.ā€

The Ohio Organizing Collective describes itself as having a vision ā€œto organize everyday Ohioans, building transformative power organizations for racial, social, and economic justiceā€ as well as ā€œbuild a democratic multi-racial populist governing coalition in Ohio.ā€

CBS News’ reporting noted that in 2017, ā€œa paid canvasser for Ohio Organizing Collaborative pleaded guilty for involvement in a fraudulent voter registration scheme.ā€

Details about the Ohio investigation remain limited. According to reports, federal agents executed search warrants and seized electronic devices as part of what officials described as an ongoing fraud-related inquiry. The affidavit supporting the search warrant remains under seal, leaving many questions unanswered.

The raid has drawn sharply different reactions. Ohio Democrats and progressive activists have denounced the operation as politically motivated, while election-integrity advocates argue that any credible allegations of voter fraud should be thoroughly investigated regardless of political affiliation. Until additional information is released, the full scope of the investigation remains unclear.

Together, the developments in New Jersey and Ohio underscore the continuing national debate over election integrity. Americans remain divided over the best methods for securing elections while ensuring lawful access to the ballot. As states continue to evaluate voter registration procedures and federal authorities pursue election-related investigations, the issue is likely to remain at the forefront ahead of future elections.

For intercessors, election integrity is ultimately a matter of justice and truth. Scripture calls governing authorities to act honestly and impartially, and it calls citizens to pursue righteousness in public life. As the midterms draw closer, let’s pray for transparent elections, lawful administration, and leaders who are committed to fairness rather than political advantage.

Lord Jesus,
Thank you for showing us the way in truth and light. Bring Your justice into our elections and bring holy Correction and justice into all of our election systems and government. Thank you for the sacrifice You made for us all on behalf of all of our souls and Your divine purpose for creating us. Thank you Lord for bringing your true justice and righteousness into this world and showing us the way to be Your vessels of love. I pray we represent You well bringing Your kingdom government and rule into our nation and ultimately the world. We praise You for bringing all darkness and deceit to light. We pray for Your justice, accountability and holy Correction that fraud and corruption will be eradicated from our elections and government.
Lord Jesus, You reign supreme as we claim You as Lord over all. Be glorified!

Father, give state officials of each state to have such a love of freedom, our constitution and our country that they will desire safe, honest elections. Change hearts from love of money and power to love of truth, justice and you.

In NJ at Motor Vehicle when you go for your drivers license you are asked if you want to register to vote. When I said I was already registered the agent angrily said, ā€œI did not ask you if you were registered, I asked do you want to register, yes or no.ā€

In NJ it took me three years to have my mother’s name removed from the rolls after she passed away. I experienced the same issue when my daughter moved out of the state and had registered in MA. That was a long time ago.

In my opinion NJ has not had an honest election in a very long time.

It’s way past time for an honest election in NJ.

Lord, in order to purify something, the thing that is infected must be opened and purged, washed clean, in order to heal. I ask You to move in the hearts of those in charge to completely purge voter rolls in every state, jurisdiction, etc. We need to begin again. And, Lord, it is incumbent upon those eligible to vote to make the effort to register to vote. It shouldn’t be done automatically when obtaining a driver’s license. Lord, help us to begin anew, to reinforce our systems, take our God-given freedoms seriously, and truly live according to our Constitution. Let it be so, Lord. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.

‘Ohio Democrats and progressive activists have denounced the operation as politically motivated…” Of course it is politically motivated. Patriots want to keep its politics legal and honest. Proverbs 11:1 (NKJV) Dishonest scales are an abomination to the Lord but a just weight is His delight.

The demise of our great country will surely happen if we continue dishonest elections, same as open borders. Therefore, Father, we cry out to You for Your divine intervention through changing all people’s hearts to seek Your salvation in this hour. In the Name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Jesus of Nazareth, Lord of lords, King of kings. Amen.
