Each of us was born with a God-given purpose. Part of that purpose is to be instrumental in shaping the world around us. Move forward this month in helping shape history — you can truly do all things through Christ!

By the Word of God, the heavens and the earth were made. Let all the people reverence God. Lord, I thank You that You foil the plans of the Enemy and cause Your own plan and purpose to stand. The plans of the Lord stand forever, the purposes of Your heart for Your people through all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. This nation is blessed because of You and the prayers of Your people. Thank You for Your faithfulness us (see Psalm 33:6–12).

Father, today we put on the whole armor of God as we prepare to war against the enemies of God. You have given us authority over all the power of the Enemy, and we exercise that authority today. We come against the rulers of darkness and the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenlies. We declare them ineffective this day. We proclaim victory in our nation and in our families, in Jesus’ name (see Ephesians 6:11–13; Luke 10:19).

God, cause the enemies who rise against this country to be defeated before our eyes. When they come against us one way, cause them to flee before us seven ways, as Your Word says (see Deuteronomy 28:7).

You alone, O God, make the nations great! You alone enlarge the nations. We want Your hand of favor to be upon this country, so please forgive our people, and restore our greatness — in Jesus’ name. Remove those leaders of the earth who do evil, and set up God-fearing leaders in their place (see Job 12:23–24).

Today, God, we humble ourselves before You. We pray and seek Your face. We cry out for mercy! Forgive the sins of our nation and heal our land. This we ask in Jesus’ name (see 2 Chronicles 7:14).

God, I give thanks for all You are doing in my life and in our nation. I choose today to intercede for those in authority. According to Your Word, when fervent prayer for our nation is our stand, we live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. I declare that You give attention to my prayers and pleas for mercy, as I come into Your presence daily (see 1 Timothy 2:1–2; 1 Kings 8:28).

God, You have marked and appointed our times in history. We declare that the Enemy will not be able to change times or seasons. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven (see Acts 17:26).

We declare this day that all the earth shall remember and turn to the Lord. All the families of this nation will bow down before God, for dominion belongs to the Lord, and He rules over the nations (see Psalm 22:27–28).

God, I choose to be sober-minded and watchful, knowing that the Enemy is seeking someone to devour. Cause me to see and hear clearly what the Spirit of the Lord would say to me. I thank You that I am diligent and prayerful. Thank You that we have already overcome through the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (see 1 Peter 5:8; Revelation 12:11).

Father, today, we seek the peace and prosperity of our city to which You have carried us. We pray to You today, knowing that when our cities prosper, we too will prosper according to Your Word (see Jeremiah 29:7).

God, cause Your light to shine so brightly in me that people glorify You. This is the cry of my heart, in Jesus’ name (see Matthew 5:16).
