Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett joined the majority in rejecting Friday Texas’ lawsuit which sought to block the certification of Electoral College votes.
Conservative Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented, noting they would grant the motion to file the complaint. (excerpt from Daily Caller, article by Brianna Lyman)

155, ORIG. TEXAS V. PENNSYLVANIA, ET AL.
The State of Texas’s motion for leave to file a bill of complaint is denied for lack of standing under Article III of the Constitution. Texas has not demonstrated a judicially cognizable interest in the manner in which another State
conducts its elections. All other pending motions are dismissed as moot.
Statement of Justice Alito, with whom Justice Thomas joins: In my view, we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction. See Arizona v. California, 589 U. S. ___
(Feb. 24, 2020) (Thomas, J., dissenting). I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.”
What is original jurisdiction? “When two or more states are locked in a dispute, however, the Supreme Court has original jurisdiction to gather and hear evidence much like a trial court.”
A group of 126 House Republicans had put their names on the line, appealing to the U.S. Supreme Court to take up a lawsuit challenging 2020 election results filed earlier this week by the state of Texas.
The 126 lawmakers asked the nation’s top court on Thursday for permission to file a friend-of-the-court brief that asks the justices to uphold the power of state legislatures to establish how presidential electors are appointed and to determine the constitutionality of ballots cast and counted under election rules established by non-legislative officials. . . .

Lord – there are some on the Supreme court who are playing games – they are NOT upholding the rule of law. We ask that you would remove the scales from their eyes, the hardness in the heart, the bias they are hiding behind and the fear of being involved. And for any justice who is standing against the rule of law and complicit with election fraud…..we simply ask that you would remove them from their roles as a justice….in whatever way you deem necessary.
There is a time to quit playing around with these people who have been given great responsibility. That time is now.
I thought Amy Barret is honest and goes with the constitution. Texas’s lawsuit is not something like we are fighting for some body else’s problem, it is a constitution’s problem toward the election. It is not valid to cast a ballot after the close hour of the election day. Everything has to be stop after 8pm, the voting centers need to obey the law, they violated the law when continuing casting the ballots in illegal hours. If they violate the law in one state, they can violate again in any other states and we will never have no fraud election in America from now on if we let them discard the law like that. I think the meaning of the Texas’s lawsuit, is a valid reason for the constitution to look at. The People expect Amy Barret is to protect the constitution but so sad, she goes with others who take politics over constitution. Virginia was red at 1am on Election night. I remembered the TV reporter even asked: why Virginia ? Why Virginia’s normally Blue but why now red ? Then to my surprise, the next morning 6am, it turned blue. Some body stopped and then continued….?
I think Scotus needed to do it’s job. I am gravely disappointed that Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Cavanaugh joined in this decision. These people need to keep their promises that they were sworn in to do!! Now what!?

I pray for them to have wisdom and discernment in this very important issue of truth, integrity and justice. Dear Heavenly Father, I choose to lean not to my own understanding, because I have been guilty of this action. Let me be lead by Your Precious Holy Spirit, and not my flawed human spirit. Please forgive me in the name of Jesus. I choose this day to trust You Almighty God, because You promised in Your Word that You are a stronghold in the day of trouble, and LORD there is trouble today! False balances or weights are an abomination to the LORD. I also know Abba Father that Your Word does not return back to You void. So I choose to agree with Your Word and wait on You. The reason some of you are despondent, as Scotus decision took the wind out of your sail, is many of you put your trust on man, lawyers and their plan of action. Let’s take our eyes(faith) out of man’s ways n plans, and put our eyes(faith)/Hope on God who parted the Red Sea n caused the walls of Jericho to fall. We are not on man’s timing. God does not have a deadline. God has a specific, choreographed action plan He will implement in His due time.

I thank God for President Trump for he has great faith and outstanding performance despite the evil attacks on him. May God always remain with him and his family to guide and protect him. It is important that a case is presented in a matter that fits the framework of a law. How attorneys appeal for a case, and argue a case is important. Remember that we desired judges that do not rule on cultural pressure or emotion, but on the laws of the Constitution.
We must pray for these judges.
We also must pray for the right case to go to the court, if that is how justice is to be served. It also needs to be a case that the country can see is fair and righteous and clear to all as “just” when it corrects the election.

There is a huge spiritual battle over the outcome of the case heard yesterday in the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Please will IFA intercessors seek the Lord and pray for this case. Lord will you step in and fight this battle on behalf of President Trump if there were illegality in voting. Lord please show the Judges that the correct law was not followed in some instances. Thanks to Tracy Beanz for shedding light on this Texas law suit. The SCOTUS did based their decision on the perceived fact that Texas was not harmed by the voter fraud and not the merits of the case. They were not saying it was because they didn’t think the case had merit. So look up and see the delivery of the LORD. Amen
The Supreme Court does not have the final say, God does.
It’s not over, not even close.
Our Supreme Court refused to fulfill their Constitutional resposibilites and duties and they have failed America and Americans.
They had a choice to help all Americans and they decided turned their backs on justice and turn our country over to evil. corrupt, Communist China Joe Biden.
We don’t need them.
I hope that one of the first things president Donald Trump does when he is placed back in office is to do away with this useless Supreme Court.

I pray to God for those in government who represent the ways of the LORD, and that these brave servants of our land that signed for righteousness will stand firm like the ancients did when wicked authorities came against them. THE SUPREME COURTS DECISION AGAINST THE TEXAS LAWSUIT WAS COMPLETLY WRONG AND SINFUL.
They have failed our justice system and they have failed all Americans.
Tons of evidence. Massive widespread voter fraud. Eye witness testimony of voter fraud.
Dominion software that was rigged by corrupt Democrats trying to illegally steal the seat of the presidency.
Analytical evidence that would have proved well beyond a reasonable doubt that voter fraud illegally gave Joe Biden a victory in these battleground states.
Blatant, Flagrant, Direct violations of Constitution with regards to voting.
All this evidence of credible voter fraud and corruption, provided by the nations top lawyers. and the Supreme Court didn’t think that it was important enough to even look at.
That the biggest case of presidential voter fraud in our nation’s history was worth investagating.
The Supreme Court is a National Disgrace.
The job of the Supreme Court: the final arbiter of the law, the Court is charged with ensuring the American people the promise of equal justice under law and, thereby, also functions as guardian and interpreter of the Constitution. The Supreme Court is “distinctly American in concept and function.”
After reading how the Supreme Court is suppose to function, it is abundantly clear that the Supreme Courts ruling against the Texas lawsuit led them to miserably fail to provide equal justice under the law, and they miserably failed to be a guardian of the Constitution.
With the exception of Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito and Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas who voted in favor of hearing the Texas lawsuit the rest of the justices voted against it 7 to 2.
These justices that wouldn’t even consider looking at the evidence didn’t have the courage, valor or moral integrity to stand up for our nations election Integrity.

I totally agree with you. I was so positive about our newest judge being a Constitutionalist-how she tricked those of us supporting her.
When the court becomes packed because these judges were too busy to get involved with Justice for America, they will have great regrets.

I was very disappointed when I saw this article but I feel like the Lord showed me a man trying to pull up weeds around a withered flower – it was very stubborn and he was pulling very hard to get it up. He finally got it up but not by the roots , the roots remained in the ground.
I think we need to pray for the roots of corruption to be pulled. I think God may be saying this lawsuit would have just addressed the weed and not the roots? I am not the best at interpretation.

I am sad, depressed, and disappointed in this outcome. I sometimes wonder what God is doing. I fear that God is judging our nation for the wickedness we have committed and are committing, especially with the deaths of over 60 million aborted babies since the Roe v. Wade decision of 1973. Disappointed with this decision because I thought the lawsuit had great merit based on the FACT that fraudulent election outcomes DO AFFECT other states in the union. It doesn’t get any simpler than that. So back to the “prayer drawing board” to have God direct us in what we need to continue to do. Please don’t get down on Amy. We all respect her because she is honest and sticks to the constitution. The problem with this suit (as I understand it) is that it was brought by the wrong plaintiff. It would be like you suing someone because they hit your friend, not you. The court would reject the suit because you would have no “standing” since you are not the wronged party. The rejection does not speak to the validity of the wrong, but that the wrong person complained. If the SC had heard this suit, it would not prevail because Texas had no standing here. The complaints must come from directly wronged parties, such as the citizens of the actual states accused.
I hope this helps. I respect Amy because she likely wants to hear a case like this, but wants to follow to do it legally. She’s honest.

You’re absolutely right about fasting, Wenona. Our church in the 1980s fasted together every single Thursday as a collective body and our hearts were on fire for the LORD. We had seen and experienced miracle after miracle in the lives of people and many folks were coming to Christ. These years were very powerful time and the church was growing and witnessing the glories of the LORD. Some time after those years, I saw many churches who once were on fire for the LORD had begun to divide over issues and then the body of the church began to water down.

Two thoughts that I hope can encourage intercessors:
1: During a time of personal repentance last summer I confessed that I was placing hope in the Surpreme Court (or other political leaders) to rescue our nation. The Supreme Court has let us down many times through the years (school prayer, abortion, affordable care act and more). Just because the personnel have changed, they are still human and not worthy of our hope and trust.
2: There is one BIGGER than the Supreme Court. If the Court had taken the case and ruled in our favor, credit would have gone to the Court. In this election turmoil, it is God who will get the credit and the glory and He will shine through in an unmistakable way. When it happens, all the world will know it was GOD who acted.
I totally agree with you. This battle we are in, GOD will get the victory – not a court, not a person, not a movement- but God. Using and directing his people to carry out HIS will. May God intervene and have mercy on us.

As I read about the Supreme Court’s decision to reject the case from Texas about the election, and reading that President Trump’s Lawyer Giuliani indicated this may take 4-5 times coming before the Supreme Court. Looking at that Article on MSN on Dec 12, 2020, that section talking about Guiliani was not in the article. The article apparently had some changes to it. The petition to the court had to meet all constitutional requirements. The claimants should perhaps re-present their case in another form that would meet those conditions. Queen Esther also had a “two part” petition. The first part was fulfilled with Haman’s execution. The second part was to develop a strategy for the Jews to survive the planned genocide. They were unable to change the King’s decree but they were able to provide for the Jews to defend themselves. The two part miracle is replaying with this election. Father God,
We belong to You. No matter how things look in the flesh, as the battle continues in the heavenlies,we will continue to intercede and keep our eyes fixed on You, the Supreme Judge Who has the final say!
In Your perfect timing, may Your righteousness prevail, may victory be claimed in a way that You and You alone receive all the glory in the powerful name of Jesus.

Update to my prayer: I am an intercessor from UK. When the enemy divides and stirs up confusion it is to gain victory. The enemy divided the church in the US by those Christians saying not to vote. The enemy is now doing it again in Georgia. There is no other alternative but to vote in Georgia. You cannot prove voter fraud unless people vote. This is the Lord’s battle but we must pray for the enemy’s schemes to be exposed. The people the enemy is using are united and marching forward. We wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities. Lord deliver us from the plans of the enemy. Is this your timing Lordfor the end time events to be set into motion? People did not vote in the majority for Mr Biden. Lord we cry out to you for the weapons of our warfare are mighty. Forgive your people for not discerning your will. Forgive your church Lord. Lord we repent and come to you because of the cross. Lord you expose the lies of the enemy. We will live we will not die. The gates of hell shall not prevail against your church. Lord remember Syria, remember that Isis was allowed to build a caliphate. Lord an account will have to be given for souls sent to hell. You sent President Trump to give years of grace for your church. Lord do not allow the enemy to steal your blessing at this time. In Jesus’s name.

God bless you too. Today is crucial spiritually. The two events of the US elections and Brexit are linked spiritually. The enemy is after both nations. The church needs the re-election of President Trump and so does the UK as we have turned our back as a nation on Israel.
Lord we cry out to you for Israel at this time. We in the UK turned our back on Israel but President Trump didn’t. Lord bless him abundantly. Bless VP Pence. Lord remember President Obama and VP Biden. Lord you know the plans of the enemy at this time. Deliver your people for the sake of the gospel. In Jesus’ name.

Lord we cry out to you for you to deliver us for your eyes have seen the voter fraud and there is clear evidence. Please be with the Wisconsin Supreme Court today 12/12/20. Please be with Senator Kelly’s case. Please shake the corruption and let the true scale of the fraud be revealed and acted upon. Lord the electoral college vote is on 12/14/20. Has anyone in the country got courage to act on evidence of voter fraud? Are the people of America going to be robbed by the enemy of the President they voted for? Lord you detest lying lips. If Joe Biden was wrongly called the winner please intervene. Lord we have little time but we look to you who can do all things. Pour out your Holy Spirit on your people and strengthen them. Pour out your Holy Spirit on the whole of America and show your will and purposes and the truth. Lord let the electoral college love righteousness and truth over deception. Lord turn this situation around for your glory. Lord I strongly believe it is not your will for Biden to be President when there is voter fraud. Lord save Mr Biden and Kamala Harris. Lord please deal with the satanic agenda behind all of this and push back the powers of darkness. Rebuke the enemy, the father of lies. Lord remove the grip of the enemy over these election results. Shake the electoral college and turn hearts to do your will. Lord we have only you as our deliverer. No man or horse can save us. Only you. We ask these things because of Jesus’s death on the cross and for the sake of the gospel. Lord you died so that people would be set free. The enemy knows his time is short. Lord in judgment remember mercy. In Jesus name.
AMEN!!!! Father God we ask you to intervene. The battle belongs to the Lord. Only you can save us. We are knocking on your door for justice and mercy for our nation. We thank you for victory in the Name of Jesus our Lord.
