I Prayed have prayed
Father, we ask that you reform our federal agencies and how they are funded. Remove woke ideology and replace it with your truth, Lord.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

This kind of funding is part of a trend of woke ideology infiltrating federal medical research. Let’s pray against this.

From The Center Square. The National Institutes of Health has issued more than a million dollars via taxpayer-funded medical research grants to find evidence that racism is to blame for poor sleep in minority communities.

Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.

The funding was appropriated to Dr. Alexander Tsai, an associate professor at Harvard University who is conducting the research through Massachusetts General Hospital, where he works as a psychiatrist.

The studies are based on the hypothesis that the disparity in sleep health in the black community is “thought to be explained partially by experiences of interpersonal racial discrimination.”

“This application focuses on police use of deadly force on unarmed black Americans as a cardinal manifestation of structural racism,” reads the grant summary in the NIH database. “The central hypothesis is that police use of deadly force on unarmed black Americans leads to unhealthy sleep among other black Americans in the general U.S. population. This hypothesis has been formulated on the basis of strong preliminary data showing that police use of deadly force on unarmed black Americans leads to poor mental health among other black Americans in the general U.S. population.”

NIH awarded $460,656 to Tsai in 2020, $439,970 in 2021, and $273,625 in 2022 for the research project, titled “Racial disparities in police use of deadly force as a cause of racial disparities in sleep health across the life course.”

That totals nearly $1.2 million over three years.

“The findings will have significant public health impact because they will provide proof of principle for development and targeting of structural and psychosocial interventions to reduce racial disparities in sleep health,” the grant summary reads.

Critics told The Center Square that the research is based on false assumptions and don’t account for other factors. …

When asked about whether lifestyle choices could be to blame for the sleep issues, Tsai said this study doesn’t address that but that it could be difficult to take that into account because those lifestyle choices could also be caused by racism. …

The funding comes as part of a growing trend of federal funds allocated for medical research assuming structural racism and relying on other left-leaning ideology.

“That [money] could be used for cancer, that could be used for diabetes … sickle cell anemia,” [Mike Gonzalez, an expert on critical race theory and diversity issues at the Heritage Foundation] said. “You hear more and more and more about DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) and CRT, ESG, really impacting the medical industry.” …

Heavenly Father,
Deliver us from darkness and help us this day. Please help our cities and local communities by raising up godly men who tell the truth and are strong and courageous to fight against lies and deceptions the news media and current ungodly men promote. Deliver us from misguided leaders in office who spend tax payer money to enrich themselves and by using lies and deceptions. Raise up honest pastors to speak the truth in the African American community. Raise them up to teach and train the people in spirit and truth. Thank you Lord you hear the prayer of the righteous and we know if you hear our prayer, you answer our prayer, if we ask anything according to your will.

Father God, we thank you in Jesus’ name for the regenerated nature You are able to give us that can forgive the transgressions of others. Keep us aware that this resurgence of “wokeness” and blaming things on “racism” is a reflection of fallen human nature’s unwillingness to forgive and its desire to find reasons not to. Renew our determination to let our light, coming from you, shine in the darkness by not giving way to resentment or hostility as we strive to reveal the real spiritual needs behind what these researchers are studying.

Tsai is a con man and has found a lucrative cash cow! He doesn’t believe that black sleeping patterns are different than white because of racism no more than I do! I am black and everyone I know sleeps just fine. If there is a problem with blacks’ sleeping habits in Massachusetts, it is probably because of lots of violence in run down democrat cities! It’s hard to sleep when shooting (black on black crime) goes on daily and nightly! We had better rise up against these lies before even more harm comes to our police who are wrongly blamed for every plight of black people! They even blame black cops! How nutty is that! Write your congressmen and women and ask them to fight against this lie! Tax dollars shouldn’t be used for this when Massachusetts is over run with homeless people! I guarantee that they don’t sleep good; oh but they are of every race, and the money is following all things black these days! Everything except BLACK ON BLACK CRIME! FATHER GOD I bind every lie that is in the atmosphere today! Please shut the mouths of these liars and show them their future where all liars will end up: the lake of fire! Please send laborers to them that they will repent and receive JESUS as LORD! Please open their eyes to the deception they have been held captive in! Please set them free in JESUS MIGHTY NAME! Amen!

Thank you for speaking up, sister in Christ. It is essential in our response to this spiritual error that people know some of the resistance is coming from those who supposedly would agree with it. Political activists are encouraging people to make false assumptions about how others think, and only living the truth will shine light on their error.

Yes and Amen! As a Black woman, I’m praying in agreement. Black on Black crime, abortion, and fatherless homes are 3 of the main issues destroying our communities, especially in Dem. run cities, because of their evil policies. But the greatest issue of all, is that there is no Fear of the Lord. No reverence for God, as many are looking for government to save them, instead of glorifying God. Father help us, we need You Lord. Revive the church, that we speak boldly, and go preach the gospel, and make disciples as You have commanded us to do! Turn our hearts back to you Lord. We have lost our way, because we have chosen not to depend on You. Let Your will be done Father, on earth as it is in heaven. Use us as instruments of righteousness to wake up our communities. We can’t do anything apart from You Lord. Stir our hearts in these last days. There is hope in You Lord. In Jesus name Amen🙏🏽

“And contrary to the popular perceptions outlined above, confirmed fatal police shootings of unarmed African-Americans number about 22 per year.” – from the Manhattan Institute.
Lord,
We need people to start standing up for, and spreading, the truth. We pray for the voice of common sense, reality and morality to become stronger, and drown out the voices of CRT, “wokeism” and those that are trying to bring this country, and society as a whole, down. We know the devil is a liar, and the spreader of lies, and all this comes straight from his pit of hell. I pray that more and more people learn to understand their authority in You, and raise up a prayer army to hold back the devil and his lies until you come to take us home.
