Politicians and the Power of their Words
Gov. Larry Hogan recently spoke words of failure over the political campaigns of every pro-life, pro-family and pro-freedom GOP candidate in our state. As quoted in an article published shortly after the gubernatorial primary results were tallied, Hogan said: “We lost at least the chance for a Republican governor in Maryland. It’s going to go back to a Democratic monopoly.” Gov. Hogan has identified himself as a man of faith, so it may be that he does not fully understand the power of his words — especially as the currently highest elected servant in Maryland.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
We know, however, that spoken words are terms of either death or life, of defeat or victory. As believers, we also know that, left unchecked, persons in positions of power may exercise illegitimate authority through their words. Through God’s grace, the Church in Maryland has power and authority over every man-made position of power and every word spoken. We must exercise our authority now, because the progressive Democrat party of Maryland has legislation awaiting the lawmakers’ return to Annapolis that is more demonic and more vile than what their deceptive campaign ads and controlled candidate forums allow the average voter to know.
For example, the Trans Health Equity Act (HB746) will mandate taxpayer funding for gender reassignment treatment, to include minors and illegal aliens, and will criminalize anyone who resists for religious or other reasons. Additionally, several economy-destroying, small-business-killing Green New Deal acts modeling President Biden’s and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s deal with globalists will be added to Maryland’s already radical march toward criminalizing most industry and business. Also: Do you remember the Pregnant Person’s Freedom Act of 2022, which codifies the “right” to murder babies during the perinatal stages (28 days after birth) and criminalizes anyone who reports the murder? The bill wasn’t defeated; it was tabled by its Democrat sponsors, awaiting their return to “serve” the people of Maryland in January 2023. Add to this the moves already taken by the Maryland State Department of Education to label pedophilia and pornography curriculum-compulsory in Pre-K–12, if we allow Gov. Hogan’s words to be, God have mercy on us all.
Finally, please pray for Hogan and for those like him to humble themselves, repent and seek God in all their ways. They are each in their valley of decision, and their souls are being weighed in the balance.

No worries, because this RINO has lost the primary, and is on his way out! It is expected that the words of the enemy become more desperate in the face of defeat. We agree in prayer that his words return void in the name of Jesus!
I looked up Maryland’s seal and motto:
The reverse of the Great Seal of Maryland consists of an escutcheon, or shield, bearing the Calvert and Crossland arms quartered. Above is an earl’s coronet and a full-faced helmet. The escutcheon is supported on one side by a farmer and on the other by a fisherman. It symbolizes Lord Baltimore’s two estates: Maryland, and Avalon in Newfoundland.
The Calvert motto on the scroll is “Fatti maschii parole femine,” generally translated as “strong deeds, gentle words” (Chapter 496, Acts of 2017).
The Latin legend on the border is the last verse of Psalm 5 (from the Latin Vulgate Bible). It translates as “with favor wilt thou compass us as with a shield.”
The date, 1632, refers to the year Charles I, King of England, granted the Maryland charter to Cecilius Calvert, second Lord Baltimore.
Bring Maryland back to the beginning, Lord.

Father, these people in high places do not know of Your ways. Just like Goliath, they defy the living God. Disturb them with dreams, visions, and the presence of Jesus the Christ. Fear of the Lord fall upon them. Lord, if they don’t repent, then remove them. I tremble and weep because of the evil they propose. With a weeping heart, I cry out to You, Faithful Father. Amen.
Proverbs 6: 12 A worthless person, a wicked man, Is the one who walks with a perverse mouth, 13 Who winks with his eyes, who signals with his feet,
Who points with his fingers; 14 Who with perversity in his heart continually devises evil, Who spreads strife. 15 Therefore his calamity will come suddenly;
Instantly he will be broken and there will be no healing. 16 There are six things which the Lord hates, Yes, seven which are an abomination to Him:
17 Haughty eyes, a lying tongue, And hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans, Feet that run rapidly to evil,
19 A false witness who utters lies, And one who spreads strife among brothers.
When I read this, I was reminded of Isaiah 43:13, Even from eternity I am He, and none can deliver out of My hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” And Isaiah 14:27, The LORD of Hosts has purposed, and who can thwart Him? His hand is outstretched, so who can turn it back? And Balaam to Balak, in Numbers 23, “I have indeed received a command to bless; He has blessed, and I cannot change it.”
Dear Heavenly Father, for those who forget, I pray a renewed understanding of their place in YOUR plans. And for those who do not acknowledge You as The Sovereign God, an awakening. As for November, I for one pray You will act in benefit of us who love You. WE DO Lord! May it please You to elevate men and women worthy of the job and remove those who work against justice and righteousness. I ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ. Amen
Praying in agreement, in Jesus’ Might Name; amen!
