Mariupol mayor: Our doctors are ‘fighting for the lives of [our] residents’
“The enemy occupying forces of the Russian Federation have done everything to block the exit of civilians from the city of half a million people,” Mayor Vadym Boichenko said in a live broadcast on Ukrainian TV, Reuters reported. No exact casualty toll was provided….
“Today there are 128 people in our hospitals. Our doctors don’t even go home anymore. They are fighting for the lives of Mariupol residents,” Boichenko said.

It is a criminal act to force all Ukraine men from 18-60 years old into military service…….these men are not trained and will all die in battles. That is suicide and the inhuman. Civilians should be allowed to leave the country.
Why is nobody condemning the UK Government for this?
I’m praying for life, protection and peace for military and civilian Ukrainians AND Russians. No one but Putin wants this war. Ukraine and Russia were both part of the USSR and I think the people remain friends and that all Ukrainians know Russian. I think they all just want peace, with minimum casualties on either side, so I’m praying for that.
A scripture song encourages us to “fix your eyes on Jesus the perfect pioneer of our faith; fix your eyes on Jesus, Apostle and Priest, we confess; He is greater, worthy, as the builder of a House has greater praise!” We fix our eyes on you, Lord Jesus Christ, and remember that You are a present help in time of trouble and that You have all powers and principalities under Your Feet.
This great time of woe in Ukraine is before You, as prayers rise to You, without ceasing! You walk among the Candlestick of Your Body, the Church in Ukraine and Russia.
You, Lord, have hosts of mighty Angels, who are equipped with Your power. Please send mighty Angel bands to accomplish your WILL.
We agree for Your kingdom to come to Ukraine (and Russia). Lord, we recall how Elijah instructed his servant to look to the hills surrounding them and he saw the posting of your might Angel Armies with flaming swords around your servants. We ask you to send Angels with their flaming armaments to surround the people and cities of Ukraine. Please encircle the encircling, hostile forces, cap and extinguish their weapons bent on destruction and bring their plans into total disarray.
We pray for sweeping Revival and Reformation in Ukraine and Russia, for Your Namesake. Please pour out spiritual refreshment and staggering Heavenly Blessings on the people of Ukraine. We ask for a bright hope and future for all the children and youth of Ukraine.
