Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask and receive the intecessory help promised from the Holy Spirit to help us pray this situation through effectively. We ask that YOUR will be done in Iraq and Syria, not the will of any tyrant or extremists. Father we know Jesus said there would be wars and rumors of wars in the last days, but we pray that you would intervene and not allow things to escalate into extremist retalliation to the USA or Allies, or to spread to other parts of the middle east. Father we pray for the innocent civilians and those in military, that you would do a work in them to call on you for your protection and then show yourself strong to them as you always are, you save all who call upon you and put their trust in you. Father sweep across these areas and do this, strengthen the people in these areas through prayer, lead Muslims to Christ crucified and resurrected, to the New Testament scriptures, and teach them about all his death and ressurrection accomplished then help them to walk in it. Father depopulate satan’s kingdom and multiple true conversions to Christ, raise these newly converted as serious prayer warriors for peace in their cities, towns, and nations, and help them do exploits in the name of Christ as an unrefutable testimony and witness to extremists that will send these to their knees or at least plant seeds for Christ in them for the future. Father qeigh heavy on the extremists, show them their wickedness and your righteousness, and break Satan’s hold over them. Father preserve life as much as possible in these areas encourage prayer, faith, fasting, and faith in you, our ever merciful and poweful and wonderful God who always hears and answers prayers as is willing that none perish but that all repent and receive salvation and relationship with you.
