This is a look at the behind-the-scenes lobbying going on in the Mississippi abortion SCOTUS case, providing fuel for prayer!
It profits a man nothing to gain the world if he loses his soul—and the deal is even worse if the earthly gain is just a chance at the fleeting respect of a few law professors. Nonetheless, that is how the left is hoping to tempt Brett Kavanaugh as the Supreme Court considers a direct challenge to Roe v. Wade.
Writing at National Review Online, Ed Whelan observes that such a sales pitch from Harvard Law professor Noah Feldman “isn’t subtle.” Feldman does not attempt to argue that Roe and subsequent decisions such as Casey are correct as a matter of law and constitutional interpretation. Instead, he resorts to mean girl tactics—only cool justices get to guest lecture at the Ivy League table…
This is just a more personal version of the left’s efforts to intimidate conservative judges…Sometimes these tactics work, as seen in Chief Justice Roberts’ reported switch to save Obamacare, or in Anthony Kennedy’s vote in 1992 to stand by Roe v. Wade…
The justices should do their duty and follow the law and Constitution to the best of their abilities. In the case at hand, this means overturning Roe and Casey, which are legal abominations, exercises of raw power divorced from the text and history of the Constitution…
The most important consideration is the wickedness of the radical regime of abortion on demand established by Roe and confirmed by Casey. In the age of ultrasound, we know what abortion is, and who it kills…
Overturning Roe will not in itself end these evils, for the justices are unlikely to extend 14th Amendment protections to the unborn, although there is an originalist case for doing so. Abortion policy would therefore return to the states…But at least our democratic victories will no longer be overridden by the caprice of federal judges.
Indeed, if the court stands by Roe it might upend the entire Republican Party, many of whose voters are tired of an establishment that overpromises and underdelivers…The Republican base will not shrug off another total betrayal.
The Supreme Court might attempt to split the baby and uphold the abortion restrictions at issue in Dobbs without overturning Roe and Casey…

God condoned abortions and cursed wombs. God instructed for fathers to kill their children. Take a look at Numbers.
Also, fetuses are not babies, certainly not “living” beings. But mom is.
It would be cool if Christians actually read their bibles and knew who they really worship.
If any of these Justices can be tempted, bribed, threatened, etc. then they should resign, but they won’t! Look at some of the “rulings” that Roberts and even, the newer Justices, have voted for!! I am very concerned about these Justices! I don’t like some of the things I have seen so far!
I pray, that these Justices are more in awe and reverence and fear of Almighty God, than man, when they make their decision regarding abortion and killing babies!! They had better be, because He hates abortion!! When our God hates something, you better come down on the side of GOD!!! That’s my prayer for ALL the Justices! Stand with GOD on this one, Justices!

Dear Sir,
After the Supreme Court ruled on Texas’ abortion law, you were quoted as saying, this ruling was an “unprecedented assault on a woman’s constitutional rights.” Abortion is an abomination. No one has a constitutional right to take the life of the unborn.
I now quote the Bible, “God Almighty made all the delicate, inner parts of our bodies and knit us together in our mother’s womb.” (personalized). And “when the righteous flourish, the people rejoice, but when the wicked rule, the people groan.”
I am groaning but the Lord hears my every utterance, to Him they are beautiful prayers. “Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.”

Father God, we thank you for this opportunity to overturn Roe. May your presence be upon the judges as they listen to briefs and contemplate their actions regarding this case. Impress and strengthen them to do the right thing according to Your Holy Word. May they not be able to lay their heads down to rest without hearing the cries of the unborn. Everywhere they turn, may they see confirmation of their need to preserve and respect ALL life. Your kingdom come and your will be done on the earth as in heaven. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
