Former civil rights leader Bob Woodson slammed Smith College on “The Story”  Tuesday after White service workers were forced to undergo anti-racism training despite an investigation into a bias claim turning up no evidence.

In 2018, student Oumou Kanoute, who is Black, was approached by a janitor and a police officer while eating in a closed dorm lounge and asked what she was doing there.

At the time, the local ACLU characterized the encounter as Kanoute being questioned for the crime of “eating while Black.” Kanoute accused the pair of campus employees of racially profiling her and posted pictures on social media accusing them of being racist. The janitor she named wasn’t working that day.

Smith College, however, still forced the pair to undergo anti-bias training and apologize to Kanoute.  . . .

Editor’s Note: They were found to be wrongly accused. . . .

Woodson, founder of the pro-American organization 1776 Unites — meant as a counter to the New York Times’ 1619 Project, said that the controversy sullies the intention of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s message . . .

Woodson told “The Story” that King once described racism as malevolent not because “it is visited upon Blacks by Whites — it’s bad because it’s evil.”

“We must unite to confront the evil. What we’re witnessing at Smith is that the school stereotyped — they took the actions of a few Whites and assumed this was generalized to the whole population and then punished them. . . .

Woodson called on McCartney and those involved to apologize to the officer and janitor involved, as well as compensate them for their experience.

“We’re against the perversion of the civil rights legacy, [it’s] being perverted here. So we’re pushing back…”

“There’s a whole atmosphere of fear and intimidation,” he added. “That shouldn’t exist today in our society. It’s tearing the fabric of this community apart.” . . .

Good for Bob Woodson, Thank-you, Father for people with the courage to speak the truth and give all of your children courage and boldness to speak truth in the midst of so many lies. We know that you love those who speak the truth and hate lies and have said in your Word that “…one who utters lies will not escape.” and “A false witness will not go unpunished, and one who pours out lies will perish.” Prov. 19:8b,9 and many more verses like those. We know you will deal with people who continually lie. Help us to be those who always stand for the truth. I also pray that you will defend Bob Woodson. “No weapon formed against him can prosper.” Be his defense, Lord. Set angels around him to deflect all attacks and prosper him in his noble battle.

Dear Heavenly Father, please help us push back against the evil and deceitful people and their darker puppeteers that have ensnared this nation. Dear Lord, it saddens me that they have hijacked the Civil Rights Movement and turned it into something false and wicked. I have no doubt the late Reverend King would be deeply troubled to see what it has become. Lord, it seems the assault of evil picks up more momentum each day, and from so many new directions. Let those of us who would stand on Your side of the line in this struggle rise and push back at Your direction. While You have told us the fight is Yours, may You use us in this conflict and lead us to a new time of truth and justice. In Jesus precious name I pray dear Lord, Amen.

Mr. Woodson is absolutely correct! Dr. King stood against evil no matter the color of the person committing it. We Christians must unite and stand united against this evil being shoved down our throats. FATHER GOD show us strategies to fight against this and other satanic assaults against all of our liberties in JESUS Name. Amen!
