I Prayed have prayed
Lord, help us to be rooted in You and Your Word. Let us trust You in the times of doubt, confusion and testing; knowing our faith will be refined.
Reading Time: 6 minutes

I am dealing with many unanswered questions, some disappointment, and a need for resolve in my spirit toward God. I have become troubled. My mind is preoccupied with questions about recent events. I am not sleeping well. What about you?

Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a longing fulfilled is a tree of life. (Prv 13:12)

I believe many intercessors are struggling with similar issues due to the latest events concerning the 2020 election.  I have learned that there are times in my life when I purposely block out doubt or other negative emotions, like when a demonic attack is harassing me and trying to get me engaged. But in this situation, I believe it is necessary to define the issues that are giving me (and maybe you too) difficulties and deal with them.

Prior to the election in 2016, I began to sense a calling to pray for our country.  I felt we were headed in the wrong direction as a nation.  God was slowly being removed from all our institutions and with it the wisdom to make decisions by our government that would promote life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.  Corruption became commonplace in all areas of our society.  Morality declined with traditional norms being ignored.  The media had become an arm of the Democratic Party spewing out propaganda rather than news to inform us. The country became more divided as deception fooled half the nation.  These issues and incidents became the subject of my prayers.

In 2016 Donald Trump was elected.  Finally, we had a President whose policies mostly lined up with godly principles for how our country should be governed.  The battle then grew to engulf him, and my prayers also took into account many of his struggles as the leader of our nation.  What transpired was then a melding of the problems of our country and the battles waged against the President, who was trying to implement policies to mitigate some of these problems.  After years of battle, the President became an integral part of it.  The boundary between the needs of the country and the needs of the President became blurry.  In fact, the President became the target of the enemy as he stood against it.  It is then logical to believe that he was instrumental in moving the country forward in honoring God’s ways. I continued to pray for our nation and the President, asking God to restore the values I believe are so important for our nation.

It may appear that I put Trump on a pedestal to some, but in reality, I really believed his position as President was necessary to bring important change to our nation.

The election of 2020 arrived and as I watched the votes come in late in the night, it sure seemed that something was amiss.  Trump was in the lead and then all of a sudden, his vote counts stopped increasing.  Biden’s, on the other hand, started increasing until the tally eclipsed the President’s.  This happened in all the key states.  Other evidence of fraud came to light.  We all kept praying.  In the end, none of the evidence seemed to matter, and Biden was inaugurated.

It appeared to me that the prayers of millions of people were not answered.  I was also dumbfounded as to how literally dozens of prophets had prophesied Trump would win the 2020 election. My mind was reeling. I had encouraged so many people to keep praying as some of my past experiences in spiritual warfare had been successful in defeating the enemy in my life.  There was such a similarity between my past and the current battle that I was sure victory would come. When it did not, I was disappointed.  It seemed like something very important to me was taken away.  I trusted the Prophets; I trusted my conclusions of past battles to step out in faith and lead others. I trusted God and yet?  It was a huge loss for me.  I felt grief.

As I pondered my situation, I realized that I was reacting to the grief by going through the typical stages–denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and finally acceptance.  Typically, it’s not necessarily in this order, as I can bounce around and repeat some of the symptoms.

I came to three possible conclusions concerning the prophet’s predictions:

  1. They simply got it wrong. God never told them Trump would win.
  2. God changed his mind after giving them the word.
  3. It’s not over yet, there is still hope God’s word will come to pass.

As I pondered these options, I came to the conclusion, I really don’t know the answer.  Do I believe they are false prophets?  No, I do not.  I have listened to many of them for many years and I do not believe any of them are enemies of God planted to deceive us.  I came to the conclusion to compartmentalize this seeming dilemma and not let it influence me anymore.  I can do this because ultimately my initial purpose for praying is now more of an issue than it has ever been.

Trump in or out of office does not negate the problems in our country.  One last thought on this subject.  What if they had prophesized that Trump would not win the election?  How would this have changed our prayer strategy?

Next, I felt I let people down by giving the impression that Trump would win and then we would see justice served and corruption dealt with.   I have many non-Christians in my life, some family, some friends and neighbors.  They know my stand and support for Trump and God and my “worldview.”  What do I do now?  I look like a fool. I have heard “I told you so” from some of them.  I felt humiliated.  Then, I came across what Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 4:9-13:

It seems to me that God has appointed us apostles to be at the end of the line. We are like those on display at the end of the procession, as doomed gladiators soon to be killed. We have become a theatrical spectacle to all creation, both to people and to angels. We are fools for Christ, but you are wise in Christ! We are the frail; you are the powerful. You are celebrated; we are humiliated.  If you could see us now, you’d find that we are hungry and thirsty, poorly clothed, brutally treated, and with no roof over our heads. We work hard, toiling with our own hands. When people abuse and insult us, we respond with a blessing, and when severely persecuted, we endure it with patience.  When we are slandered incessantly, we always answer gently, ready to reconcile. Even now, in the world’s opinion, we are nothing but filth and the lowest scum.

When I read this, I started weeping.  I felt ashamed of myself to think I am so high and mighty. Like I have all the answers. Who put myself up on a pedestal? I did!  God forgive me.  Humble me.  Change my perspective.  If I went through 1/100 of what the apostles went through, I most likely would have given up.  I don’t have it so bad.

I meet with 4 close friends in the Lord every week.  The last time we met, each of us were transparent with our feelings. Some were angry with God, like he let us down, some felt bewildered, maybe a little harsh on the prophets.    It was a good experience, as we let each work out their own struggles, supporting each other, comforting and praying with each other.  I have also been blessed recently by getting calls and emails of friends supporting and encouraging me.  It has helped greatly.

What have I learned from this experience?

  1. As an intercessor, I have committed to pray for America, which is why I am involve with IFA.  There are more needs for our country now than ever.
  2. The goal of turning this country around and headed in the right direction has not changed.
  3. All the prayers lifted up to our Father in heaven over the last 5 years were not done in vain.  They just haven’t been used yet!
  4. I will stop trying to figure our how God is going to move and just have faith.  1 Corinthians 1:25 says, “For the foolishness of God is wiser than human wisdom, and the weakness of God is stronger than human strength.”  And in 2 Corinthians 5:7 we learn, “For we live by faith, not by sight.”
  5. I stand on Galatians 6:7:  Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.  People who sow corruption and deception will reap the consequences of their actions.  I believe this with all my heart.  I do not know when this will occur, but I will pray that justice will prevail.

Dear Father, I pray for all the precious intercessors reading who are discouraged or bewildered and are struggling with motivation to pray as they did in the past.  Give them a fresh revelation concerning this election that will lift the burdens off their hearts and give them faith and a desire to pray for our nation.  May they understand that every prayer is precious to You, Lord God, and in Your timing, You will use their prayers for Your purposes.  I pray they be transparent with You, and not afraid to bear their feelings, fears, and sins with You, who so graciously forgives us, cleanses us, and fills us with hope and love.  In Jesus’ Name, Amen

Thank you so much for this prayer and encouragement. I have been angry, confused, dismayed, grieving, sleepless and all the other conditions you’ve described. It is helpful just to know I’m not the only one going through this, and it helps me turn my focus and strength back to God and others. Praise the Lord for you!

Thank you, like you, I have been confused and troubled, and your remarks were encouraging; I can and now do leave it all in the very capable hands of our loving, all-wise Lord and look to Him in trust, praying that our Lord will give our national leaders the gift of repentance and lead them to saving faith. Blessings, my friends.

I agree wholeheartedly with this article. My concern is that we subscribe to what these “prophets” say without looking to the Word. Why do we think the once great USA will ever return to worshipping God? We are in this position because we have turned from Him.
Yes, 2 Chron. 7:14 says He will heal our land if we repent; however we have yet to see any such national repentance.
Furthermore, I read a heartfelt apology from one such “prophet” and ultimately he blames President Trump and his arrogance for his loss. The Word says in the end times there will be terrible persecution of Christians: Read Matthew 24:6-14, and numerous other Scriptures. We will be persecuted terribly.
I hope & pray that our nation will be healed, but I don’t see where Scripture predicts it will happen.

I believe we can liken the place we are in with our disappointment with the election with how the disciples felt after Jesus died. The scripture says His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways.As Jesus met with two of His disciples on the road to Emmaus I believe they were feeling as we also are,let down, questioning, wondering, doubting. A whole gamet of emotions.
Jesus had prepared them and told them what was going to take place, but they were not spiritually mature enough to discern what He was teling them. They had their own idea of what was needed and how it had to happen.
God has a plan of how He is going to work righteousness in us and accomplish His prposes both in the earth and in us!
We need to keep praying and trusting the Lord to come through in His way and in His timing.
The battle belongs to the LORD!

I read parts of Malachi today during my time with the LORD. It was sobering to hear the words, but also encouraging. I consider IFA to be one of those places that I “speak” with others during trying times; reminding each other of the faithfulness of God. As we “fear the LORD and esteem His name,” He tells us that he hears us, we belong to Him, He loves us and will spare us because we serve Him.

“You have wearied the LORD with your words. “How have we wearied him?” you ask. By saying, “All who do evil are good in the eyes of the LORD, and he is pleased with them” or “Where is the God of justice?” Malachi 2:17

13 “Your words have been hard against me, says the Lord. But you say, ‘How have we spoken against you?’ 14 You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God. What is the profit of our keeping his charge or of walking as in mourning before the Lord of hosts? 15 And now we call the arrogant blessed. Evildoers not only prosper but they put God to the test and they escape.’”

16 Then those who feared the Lord spoke with one another. The Lord paid attention and heard them, and a book of remembrance was written before him of those who feared the Lord and esteemed his name. 17 “They shall be mine, says the Lord of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. 18 Then once more you shall see the distinction between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves God and one who does not serve him. Malachi 3:13-18

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had.” Romans 15:5

God bless you all for your patient endurance and fervent prayers for our country.

I am most disappointed that nothing has changed-our media continues to lie and the swamp has not been drained, yet! But I love our prophets who are humans. Many times God’s timing is not ours. Maybe the prophecies were misinterpreted. Maybe they just have not happened yet. I have not lost faith in our prophets! They were courageous enough to tell us what they heard- that is big in this day and time with all the keyboard warriors! May God bless them all!

I now am waiting through my disappointment in the church in general. If they had come alongside and undergirded and prayed in agreement with what the Lord wanted we may not have all this facing us. All Trump did has already been in process of being done away with. It grieves me and I believe it could have been different if the church had come awake. I dreamed we were walking during winter on a snowy mountain side dressed in warm clothing. Going around the mountain half way up. I pray it doesn’t take forty more years of this to turn us to go up the mountain and take back what was stolen from us. I can pray: “your kingdom come your will be done in this nation on earth as in heaven”. That is a sound prayer.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Heb.11:1) This whole chapter speaks about FAITH! “Without faith it is impossible to please God.” Mark 9:23 says,”If thou can believe, all things are possible to him that believeth”. I will pray and stand in faith that God is still working in behalf of his children. When we pray, we must have faith! I pray that God would help us in our unbelief! Pray and believe, because God answers the prayers of those who believe.

I have not been able to sleep well some nights and have been struggling with feelings of discouragement, especially since there is still rioting ( it has been picking up again) in Portland, Oregon, and certain cities in Washington State. But I am still praying and I know God’s word says that a man WILL reap what he sows. God is not mocked and there WILL come a time when reaping will begin and it will not be pretty at all for them! I also continue to pray that justice WILL prevail.

Blessings and Honor, Glory and power be unto the ancients of days,All Glory and power is ascribed to our God.

I read this human words of a man as we often do to come conclude a matter. Am not encourage, Am reminded of Jesus words, for which of these deeds that you seek to stone me. We are not stoned for speaking truth we been protected, free speech is an American right. Jesus was targeted for his speech his words was a national problem, can you see the war that is raging in our midst regardless how u choose to view it it
WORDS verses word

One man step unto to scene and something happened inside our spirit, he brought hope, change and people believed in true justice and equality again. Millions of American made this truth public.

God loves Nations, nations is always on his minds,we are instructed to ask him for the heathen nations he promised to give us the earth. We will have what he has promised to us. But we must know what Nation is America, what category do we fall into. Some people say we are Godly Nation, some say we are a back-slidden nation. Who are we now, today? in my mind psalm 1-8 sums it up. devil knows that his time is short those tha serve him and his people will know his fierce wrath.

On a path of Righteousness is a continuation of failures and success, every blood bought, spirit -filled child of God,has learned that serving God is embracing the opposites, we cannot be proud arrogant and haughty, prophets will fail, if sins is found in their hearts, and yet prophet are God’s divine solution for every problem Deut 18-15. My Intercession will continue every Friday night from 11 to five for Nations. What bring us together was and is a common goal, that what we said yes to was not a government,a winning leader or government. Who we said yes to, is what’s the conclusion here, an Intercessor always and Intercessor regardless of the outcome,we leave the consequences to God. We must make ourselves available to pray, for we must pray and not faint. But right we have and so my eyes are on the one that says leave vengeance to me, I shall repay and because we dwell in the secret place of the most high God. We can and should declare ONLY with my EYES shall I see the rewards of the wicked. Psalm 91-8

Let’s keep interceding for psalm 1-8 Nation

Thank you for your honesty and encouragement. I have so many of those same feelings. Then I begin to evaluate myself and realized my faith was in Trump more than God. Trump felt like a friend. I have ask God to forgive me. Yes, I am struggling to pray for our new leaders, but that is what God says we are to do. Thank you
for your honesty, I know it helped many of us.

God’s will be done on earth as it is in heaven. God’s ways are not our ways, God’s thoughts are higher than our thoughts. His plan is unfolding and we must do our job of speaking out for Jesus, leading people to Jesus.

Thank you for addressing this pain in the body of Christ. God is not finished yet, he has not lost the battle, He is still hearing and answering our prayers. We need to learn to be steadfast and stand. And when we have done all, to stand. I learning this myself. Have you heard of Kim Clements prophesy that we would have 2 presidents at the same time? That happened at Bidens inauguration. Biden was innaugerated at 15 minutes to noon. President Trump was still president till noon. God is still on the throne, we just do not yet have eyes to see what the spirit is doing.Father we bless Your name above all names. In Jesus Name Amen

Great article. I feel this is a testing for believers and Americans in general who put their trust in Trump or a prophet above God.

I have circled through all three you mentioned, now leaning on #3. We as humans have minds that operate like that, In a distressful situation we assess our options and have to choose to filter them either through prayer and scripture that we have hid in our heart or choose to operate through our own understanding. I choose God/the Word. (The first sentance of the gospel of John says:?In the beginning was the WORD, the word was with God and WAS God!)

No matter who is King Jesus is Lord over all. And we see clearly John says Jesus is the WORD who was with God and was God!

I hope that God is NOT finished yet, i saw a 2008 prophecy from Kim Clement that the issue of two Presidents will be resolved by Spring, but again we are faced with having to decide to lean more on the word of a prophet or the “more sure word” of God Himself. Always best to choose the “more sure” word of God! Jesus! It is good to have hope in the prophet’s words but while hoping, our faith remains in Jesus/the word and staying in obedience, actively praying for God to finish the restoration of America that He started despite who is in office, and praying for his overwhelming conviction, on the new Administration to understand that our forefathers dedicated our nation to be One under God, indivisible, with Liberty and justice for all, and that God takes seriously that which is dedicated to him even as he remained faithful to Israel despite their sins, he continued to intervene to turn them from sin and sent deliverers. when you see that in the word and conciser it, the only logical response is that God is faithful and certainly not finished here!

Father we do not want to put our faith in anyone except you, 1 Corinthians tells us even the best of spiritual gifts and prophecy, Altruism, and martyrdom will eventually have an end while 3 things remain: Faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love, so we continue to keep these three alive in our heart, especially the greatest which is LOVE being patient and blessing those in our government who are our enemies knowing when we obey God’s principals like that and encourage others to do the same, we will see the hand of God work our faith and hope as well to receive his miracles. We cant do it wrong and expect God to do a miracle, Moses and Israel had to obey and do what God said before deliverance came to full manifestation, their faith and patience was tested especially at the Red Sea. God kept giving Pharoah chances and each time Pharoah refused it hardened his heart more & oppressed Israel more until finally God sent the judgment that finally moved his heart then he still rose up and led his army right to full destruction and the sea covered them. God will work with our enemies first to try to redeem them, if they refuse his efforts like Pharoah did they will eventually completely drown in their own hardhardness like Pharoah and his army. Father thank you for who you are and how you operate, you are willing that none perish, help us to wait this out patiently like Israel waited through the plagues and your timing, Father we see how their story played out and we have faith despite how it looks and continue to hope and pray that the Biden Administration makes the right decisions but if they do not we are confident you will intervene and bring deliverance to our nation anyway a different way that YOU alone will get glory for, we hope DJ Trump gets to finish what you started in him but Moses did not part the sea only YOU could do that he simply obeyed and led the way, may we consider these things and follow your will and way patiently until the time for full manifestation of amazing absolute deliverance comes such that all nations will see and know that it was without doubt so dramatic that it could only be the hand of God just like the nations in the day of Moses acknowledged. They didnt credit Moses, they knew deliverance came from the GOD of ISRAEL not a man. Thank you Lord. You will not share your glory, no one deserves to share it, only you alone! We wait on you to do Lord! Thank you!!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your deep and honest comments about the past election. You addressed every concern that I and many others have had and struggled with these past weeks, and what we have tried so hard to understand. I am also trying to humble myself to accept the outcome as it happend, acknowledge that my ways (and wishes and thoughts) are not God’s ways, and that yet, He is in charge and His will will be done in His time. I pray that his people will continue to be faithful and hold in earnest prayer those that are still in government who are trying to uphold truth and biblical values. We cannot let them down, no matter what happens. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for expressing so eloquently and thoroughly what so many of us have been going through these past weeks and months!!

Doubt, unbelief, fear, confusion, disappointment? Why? This isn’t over!

Remember, the early settlers came to America to worship God. They came to glorify Him and advance the Christian faith. God made covenants with the earliest settlers. He always keeps His covenants. He never breaks them. He is not a man, that He should lie, or a son of man that He should change His mind. He speaks and acts. He promises and fulfills. (Numbers 23:19)
I continue to remind Father of His covenants. We will always be free to worship Him. America will always be a Christian nation. The victory has already been won by the finished work of our LORD and Savior Jesus Christ! Rejoice! Praise the LORD! The best is yet to come! We are about to experience the greatest outpouring of the Holy Spirit that the world has ever seen! Praise God!

Catherine thank you for this! What you expressed is what I believe to be true. I grow weary hearing the voices of defeat. I’m sure the Israelites at the edge of the sea thought it was over for them. With the loud enemy army approaching, they would surely watch the massacre of their babies, children and loved ones! In the book of Esther the Israelites were about to be destroyed by evil Haman. Once again at the last minute when all hope was lost, God showed up.
Why are so many Christians putting time limits on God? Is there no knowledge of scripture? Doesn’t God tell us to understand what he’s done in the past so we can trust him for the future?

Have you considered why many are so discouraged? There were many that were praying according to the prophet’s prediction. I believe that “prayers” are never to base their prayers on another man’s word. This truly is an open door to failure. I believe the prophet’s word is more of a confirmation to my praying. Also consider how many looked to the Supreme Court and Mike Pence to “save” our nation. Our LORD doesn’t need any man’s help in saving His nation. He is able. We must always remember that Father shares His glory with no man. We are never to tell our LORD how to do His part. We are to “rest” in Him and trust that He really does know what He is doing.

Carolyn The problem Has been that many in the church traded time in prayer for social media and tv, so God has allowed it to become so corrupt that the church wakes up and notices it and prays for deliverance.

    Proverbs 12:24 in different translations:
The hand of the diligent ones will rule, but the lazy will belong to forced labor.

The hand of the hard worker shall rule, but the lazy ones will become forced labor.

The hand of the diligent will rule, but laziness ends in forced labor.

Work hard, and you will be a leader; be lazy, and you will end up a slave.

Father may yiur church learn to get into your WORD and take it seriously enough yo act on it accordingly. Thank yoy!

We had an old preacher in Australia who used to say, ‘The facts are, but the truth is…’
He had been told he would never walk again after an accident, and this was his confession – meaning that the facts told him he couldn’t walk, but the TRUTH told him he was healed by Jesus stripes.
Holy Spirit told one of our prayers, ‘Confront the reality with the Truth’.

Look at the truth, prophets said Trump would win, and he did! The evidence is there for the world to see! The prophets got it right!

BUT it was stolen! President Trump kept saying it and he was right.

Don’t be discouraged! God is never late!

For still the vision awaits its appointed time; it hastens to the end—it will not lie. If it seems slow, wait for it; it will surely come; it will not delay. (habakkuk 2:3)esv

The church was looking for an easy and quick victory, and I guess God is saying not so fast. We do want righteousness to reign in our country, yes, and I trust that God wants that for this country even more than we do. But our Heavenly father is not about quick fixes. It took us a while to get to this crisis. Honestly I believe that God is working something mind blowing behind the scenes.

The whole world had been praying for America. We’ve heard prophecies from all over the world, from true men of God with much integrity; did they all collude to propagate a lie? Most of us in the church have never trusted to the point beyond death, to actually witness a resurrection. But our God is in the resurrecting business. The place where we can truly say, this was all God. Maybe this will be the first time that the people will not take the credit for choosing their president. God will.

This is where I have anchored my faith, and with great expectancy, all the prophets couldn’t have been wrong, let’s not try to play God with the timing of the prophecy. Just keep watching and praying without bias. Righteousness must reign in this country.

Thank you for putting it so eloquently what so many of us have felt.

Before the election I kept claiming an article I read in IFA about a “Trifecta” which prophesied that President Trump would win, the Republicans would take the House & keep the Senate.

Even after the election, as I watched the hearings in the swing states, the fraud was so obvious that I knew justice would be done.

Once the Supreme Court refused to hear the Texas case, I began to wonder if we were under God’s judgment.

There were additional disappointments. I became depressed.

Once Biden was sworn in however, like King David after his child died, I began to realize that God’s timing is not ours & that I just needed to trust Him.

I am assured now that we are indeed, “more than conquerors,” no matter what happens.

My God is greater than anything or anyone.

He has already won. PRAISE HIS HOLY NAME!

Paul Dear Brother, Take heart God has not abandoned us and our prayers are not in vain. I remember how confused I was while Obama was President I didn’t understand any of it but I determined to stand like the 3 in the fiery furnace. I often repeated “though he slay me yet will I trust him.” Our God is so much greater than we can even imagine. Be strong in the Lord brother he is not finished yet.

I loved the article because after all, only God knows! I love all of our prophets and those who have so courageously stood! I am excited what God will do next through many people, perhaps even including Trump. I do not know but God does. I will never give up or stop praying. We have this generation and those ahead who need our prayers, encouragement and discipleship! Thank you to all who have stood so righteously!

Thank you for this article. I think it helps to get our bearings. I few things I take issue with, not in a bad way, but to just help with proper perspective-President Trump did win the election, we shouldn’t feel ashamed to know and believe that fact, and God has answered our prayers, He always has and always will. He knows what we need before we even ask-Amen.
With regards to false prophets (there are some out there-the Bible tells us so:), our “expectations,” especially as it pertains to answered prayers and the ways of Heaven vs the ways of man, I was led to Matthew 7:7-29 and the following;

Matthew 21 Complete Jewish Bible
As they were approaching Yerushalayim, they came to Beit-Pagei on the Mount of Olives. Yeshua sent two talmidim 2 with these instructions: “Go into the village ahead of you, and you will immediately find a donkey tethered there with its colt. Untie them and bring them to me. 3 If anyone says anything to you, tell him, ‘The Lord needs them’; and he will let them go at once.” 4 This happened in order to fulfill what had been spoken through the prophet,
5 “Say to the daughter of Tziyon,
‘Look! Your King is coming to you,
riding humbly on a donkey,
and on a colt, the offspring of a beast of burden!’
6 So the talmidim went and did as Yeshua had directed them. 7 They brought the donkey and the colt and put their robes on them, and Yeshua sat on them. 8 Crowds of people carpeted the road with their clothing, while others cut branches from trees and spread them on the road. 9 The crowds ahead of him and behind shouted,
“Please! Deliver us!” to the Son of David;
“Blessed is he who comes in the name of Adonai!”
“You in the highest heaven! Please! Deliver us!”
10 When he entered Yerushalayim, the whole city was stirred. “Who is this?” they asked. 11 And the crowds answered, “This is Yeshua, the prophet from Natzeret in the Galil.” 12 Yeshua entered the Temple grounds and drove out those who were doing business there, both the merchants and their customers. He upset the desks of the money-changers and knocked over the benches of those who were selling pigeons. 13 He said to them,
“It has been written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer.’But you are making it into a den of robbers!”
14 Blind and lame people came up to him in the Temple, and he healed them. 15 But when the head cohanim and Torah-teachers saw the wonderful things he was doing, and the children crying out in the Temple, “Please deliver us!” to the Son of David, they were furious. 16 They said to him, “Do you hear what they’re saying?” Yeshua replied, “Of course! Haven’t you ever read,
‘From the mouth of children and infants
you have prepared praise for yourself’?”
17 With that, he left them and went outside the city to Beit-Anyah, where he spent the night. 18 The next morning, on his way back to the city, he felt hungry. 19 Spotting a fig tree by the road, he went up to it but found nothing on it except leaves. So he said to it, “May you never again bear fruit!” and immediately the fig tree dried up. 20 The talmidim saw this and were amazed. “How did the fig tree dry up so quickly?” they asked. 21 Yeshua answered them, “Yes! I tell you, if you have trust and don’t doubt, you will not only do what was done to this fig tree; but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Go and throw yourself into the sea!’ it will be done. 22 In other words, you will receive everything you ask for in prayer, no matter what it is, provided you have trust.” 23 He went into the Temple area; and as he was teaching, the head cohanim and the elders of the people approached him and demanded, “What s’mikhah do you have that authorizes you to do these things? And who gave you this s’mikhah?” 24 Yeshua answered, “I too will ask you a question. If you answer it, then I will tell you by what s’mikhah I do these things. 25 The immersion of Yochanan — where did it come from? From Heaven or from a human source?” They discussed it among themselves: “If we say, ‘From Heaven,’ he will say, ‘Then why didn’t you believe him?’ 26 But if we say, ‘From a human source,’ we are afraid of the people, for they all regard Yochanan as a prophet.” 27 So they answered Yeshua, “We don’t know.” And he replied, “Then I won’t tell you by what s’mikhah I do these things. 28 “But give me your opinion: a man had two sons. He went to the first and said, ‘Son, go and work today in the vineyard.’ 29 He answered, ‘I don’t want to’; but later he changed his mind and went. 30 The father went to his other son and said the same thing. This one answered, ‘I will, sir’; but he didn’t go. 31 Which of the two did what his father wanted?” “The first,” they replied. “That’s right!” Yeshua said to them. “I tell you that the tax-collectors and prostitutes are going into the Kingdom of God ahead of you! 32 For Yochanan came to you showing the path to righteousness, and you wouldn’t trust him. The tax-collectors and prostitutes trusted him; but you, even after you saw this, didn’t change your minds later and trust him. 33 “Now listen to another parable. There was a farmer who planted a vineyard. He put a wall around it, dug a pit for the winepress and built a tower; then he rented it to tenants and left. 34 When harvest-time came, he sent his servants to the tenants to collect his share of the crop. 35 But the tenants seized his servants — this one they beat up, that one they killed, another they stoned. 36 So he sent some other servants, more than the first group, and they did the same to them. 37 Finally, he sent them his son, saying, ‘My son they will respect.’ 38 But when the tenants saw the son, they said to each other, ‘This is the heir. Come, let’s kill him and take his inheritance!’ 39 So they grabbed him, threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. 40 Now when the owner of the vineyard comes, what will he do to those tenants?” 41 They answered him, “He will viciously destroy those vicious men and rent out the vineyard to other tenants who will give him his share of the crop when it’s due.” 42 Yeshua said to them, “Haven’t you ever read in the Tanakh,
‘The very rock which the builders rejected
has become the cornerstone!
This has come from Adonai,
and in our eyes it is amazing’?
43 Therefore, I tell you that the Kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to the kind of people that will produce its fruit!” 44 “Whoever falls on this stone will be broken in pieces; but if it falls on him, he will be crushed to powder!”45 As the head cohanim and the P’rushim listened to his stories, they saw that he was speaking about them. 46 But when they set about to arrest him, they were afraid of the crowds; because the crowds considered him a prophet.

Remember God’s people thought deliverance would look different than it actually turned out!
I love the prayer. It displays a heart of humility, filled with love and concern for others, thank you!
God bless you all!!

Thank you Michael for sharing your heart with us and your wonderful prayer at the end. I am experiencing all the emotions you shared in the article. I so wanted to see the power of our intercession manifest in the natural. I believed I would see righteousness and justice prevail. At this moment it appears like utter evil has prevailed. At this time, I just can’t believe that God is done. The other evening I could feel God’s righteous anger against evil rising up in a mighty and powerful way. I still believe for God to work a mighty miracle. I believe evil is celebrating prematurely and God’s righteousness and justice is coming! I have left everything on the battlefield and I do not believe we have fought this battle in vain. All glory be to God!

Thank You!!!! I needed to read this! I needed to hear this!! Those verses ARE in the Bible!
(I Corinth 4: 9-13) Never thought of it as being us Prayer Warriors. I can’t begin to understand
why God allowed this to happen! But I am not God and we only see a finite part of the whole picture.

But…….I am still soooo disappointed! Sad for our country and sad for how they treated President Trump. He stood for, loved and helped Israel! So I was so surprised at the results!

We ALL were humbled. I’m tearing up while reading your article. My emotions are still a little raw. I have accepted this as God’s will, because He allowed this to happen. But it is hard!

I am ready to trust that God has something Good for Trump and the United States in the Future! When? I have NO idea! Our ways are definitely not His ways and I pray someday we will be able to understand!

I pray the Holy Spirit works on us, teaches us, and helps us all, (including President Trump and His Family) to grow closer and closer to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!! To learn more of His ways, to change our attitudes and character to be and act more like HIM!(Jesus) And to Truly Trust Him for everything, even though it seems hopeless!!

Thank you for writing this! Thank you for encouraging us with your transparency. It was a way to be honest about my own emotions, because you were. It helped me see some of the phases we go through while we grieve a loss!!

God Bless you and I pray God continues to use you! Thank You again!!

I feel exactly like you spoke of in this article. I’m so confused day in and day out like never before.
I do believe we are to pray for our government leaders to be saved but I do not believe God expects us not to be angry with them.
I also believe Trump was re elected and he is really our president. Those people occupying the White House are cheating lying satan worshipping poor excuses for human beings. God will deal with them in His own time. Unfortunately we will probably not be around to see it and will suffer as the early Christians did while on this earth. I will pray for everyone’s salvation no matter what happens in my future. And I will pray for God to save our nation from the evil one. Thank you for your article.

Not a word of His returns to Him void. We prayed His word and I believe according to His will. His Kingdom will come and His will will be done on earth as it is in heaven. When many
disciples left Him and
followed Him no more He asked Peter “ are you going to leave too? Peter answered “where else is there to go?”
Keep believing even unto death! G-D will give us the grace, power and love to see us through this storm in victory!
He said I AM with you even until the end!

God bless you Michael,
this has the heart of God all over it and I very much agree and have felt everything you wrote. I did much self examination on my part and repented. I have a sure hope in the Lord. before 2021, he told me to contend for justice. I did, and I still am. the word the Lord has put in my heart to continue to pray is for truth to prevail. So that’s what I’m doing. the foundation of truth is Jesus Christ. I don’t have answers. I don’t need answers, I trust in God that he will finish what he started. Until that happens, I stay as an Intercessor contending for America regardless of who’s in the white house or how they got there. We intercede and God does the rest.

No, the prophets who predicted President Trumps victory in the election were right. President Trump DID WIN the election. It’s just that the Deep State stole it from him. I believe in the third answer, that our Heavenly Father has a greater plan regarding President Trump. (Just as a side note, in my humble opinion, he still is the president of our country. The Harris/Biden “administration” is fraudulent because they didn’t win the election fairly.) Perhaps our Heavenly Father is testing the faith of these prophets and others, who have renounced and repented of their so-called “failed prophecies”. ( I personally know fellow Christians who have thrown in the towel and believe the Lord has spoken regarding the “election” of Harris and Biden.) I still believe that our Heaven Father will allow President Trump to regain office in the White House somehow. It’s up to us to pray that He will make a way, when there doesn’t seem to be a way. As it says in the Bible: “With G-d all things are possible.” AMEN!

Like many other prayer warriors, I, too was disappointed when Joe Biden was inaugurated on the 20th of this month because there was so much proof that the election was stolen. However, I am convinced that in God’s perfect timing Joe Biden will be removed and Donald Trump will get back in office. God told the prophetess and intercessor Kat Kerr the following: “Even if they inaugurate the villain and try to put him there, I will kick him out. I will remove him and every obstacle that’s in the way.” That powerful 11 minute You Tube video to watch is titled, “Kat Kerr, Flashpoint, and the Re-election of Donald Trump. Another encouraging one is titled, “Kat Kerr: Prophetic Message: Great Powerful Words of the Lord.” Many prophets are unfairly judged because the most important event did not happen by a certain date (January 20th) but God is not bound by a specific date. That is why it is important to continue to praise and thank God that victory is coming. Be encouraged as you also watch the video titled “Hank Kunneman’s Important Message to the Church.” Blessings to you as you watch these videos and reflect on their encouraging messages.

Throughout scripture we see GOD’s people living under ungodly government systems. The same is true in the world today. It is faulty theology that says GOD’s people bring in His kingdom. Our responsibility is to make disciples. The kingdoms and nations of the world will all fail according to scripture. There will be a day when “….loud voices in heaven say, ‘The kingdom of this world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Anointed One. And He shall reign forever and ever.’ And who accomplished this? Our GOD!! Before this occurs the world systems fail. Man’s efforts to control through one-world government, monetary system and religious system are the end-game of the evil one and the King of the Universe puts an end to it. Maranatha!!

7
    Michael Guidera
    January 23, 2021

Linda, Yes it is one of our responsibilities to make disciples, and we are commanded to pray for our leaders of our country. When our elected officials disregard the truth and behave badly and do evil deeds and make decisions that benefit themselves and not the people they represent, it is our duty to communicate and pray for them. When a media takes control by promoting propaganda rather than the news, it is our duty to pray for them and pray against the forces of evil influencing them. Praying is not controlling. It is an act that God has created for us to communicate with Him. I will not simply accept corruption in our government. I will pray for justice and exposure of the evil deeds. I will ask Him to bring the Truth to light. I do not see anything wrong in praying for our country.

    9
      Linda Myers
      January 23, 2021

Michael, I fully agree with you. However, some are putting hope in a revived America when scripture reveals that ultimately, ALL kingdoms and governments will fall after a failed attempt at one-world rule. Prayer is always called for but each must examine our own heart as to what we are trusting GOD for. Did GOD ever promise us a revived, God-fearing nation? No…. Jesus gave us our marching orders….make disciples….whether we live under un-godly rule or not. Nations rise and fall….there are numerous scriptures to support this fact. I am as outraged by the injustice and wickedness that is occurring as others are. However, we need to realize that scripture teaches us a harsh reality….the ultimate fulfillment of the desires of our hearts will be when He establishes His Kingdom! In the meantime, things will get really uncomfortable.

        Michael Guidera
        January 23, 2021

HI Linda, I can understand your take on this issue. The problem I have is this strong desire I have to pray when I see injustice. I have always been this way, my whole life. David wrote so many Psalms with the same burden I have about the how the unjust treat the innocent. I cannot just say that its God’s will for our nation to be taken down without praying for revival and restoration. I just cant do that. I have tried to, but something very deep inside me says dont give up. Maybe the Body of Christ is diverse enough where we are given different assignments. I dont have all the answers.

          Linda Myers
          January 23, 2021

Good answer, Brother! I find praying the Psalms for justice very satisfying…GOD’s justice will prevail! We need to be cautious about how we think that will happen and simply trust that it WILL happen…maybe we will see it soon and maybe at the end of the age.

I also was so disappointed with the results of the election. However, God is the one to be exalted, not the government, or system, or person. There is so much evil in our government and system that needs to be repented. Bring revival to our nation, may many hearts be changed. May the secret purposes of many be revealed. Spiritual revival has brought national revival in the past. Bring revival, Lord.

Holy Father; We pray on. You are not done. Evil will continue to be exposed. You Hand is still on Donald J Trump. Prayer changes us first as we pray for others. We are living through a time of great preparation. America is on Your mind. You are faithful. Nothing can stop Your Perfect Will. We must seek it, rest in it and walk out our faith in it. We are weak but You are strong . Be Thou our vision! “Declaring the end from the beginning and from ancient times things not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand and I will accomplish my purpose.’ We pledge to seek Your counsel and purpose for our lives and for America’s future. This article made me realize that I’m not the only one wondering why God didn’t answer our prayers regarding the 2020 election and the fraudulent activities of the Deep State. We know that President Trump stood with God upholding His Laws so it saddened and shocked me to see that God did not stand with President Trump. Like you, I cried and turned my anger toward God for abandoning us in this dire time. It took a couple of days to calm myself and realize that God’s timing is not ours. Just because we thought we should have resolution by January 20 didn’t mean God thought that way. We must trust that He has a reason for allowing Biden to occupy the Oval Office for awhile before God reveals His judgment. It’s not easy to accept, but God sees the big picture and we don’t. We must trust that He is setting the Dem leadership up for a huge public fall.

In 2016 I dreamed Trump was pushing a 4 door empty sedan uphill. He was on the right side of the vehicle. I told him he would be alone & would need to depend on himself only. When he reached the top there were 2 Asian women there & there would be a banquet where a pesto dish would be served. China & Italy come to mind today. Two weeks ago I dreamed that Melania was in shorts & a tank top. She was wearing large sunglasses. She was standing on the left side of a tan Mercedes convertible. I said to her that I never saw her in casual clothes & she laughed. Donald was getting in the car on the right side to sit in the passenger’s seat. The sun was shining on him. His hair was glistening. He fulfilled his God given duty. They drove off in a quiet way. I thought about Moses & how he was the one to bring the Israelites to the promised land but God chose Joshua to be the one to cross the river. I go through life paying attention to symbols in reality & in my dreams. Here are some I remember. Lightning struck the Vatican the day Pope Benedict resigned. Notre Dame burned. The Empire State building was lit pink on the day NY passed that babies who survived failed abortions could be killed. The image of Trump turning the upside down Bible to its rightful position outside St. John’s Church. The fly on Mike Pence’s head. I am sure there are more that I haven’t witnessed. Others have seen these & more symbols as well. This is a fallen world & the master of deceit is everywhere. I think God communicates to you in the way you receive information. For me it isn’t about predicting the future, it is seeing the signs as a reminder that God speaks & no matter what happens on earth I am grateful that the truth comes through to irritate the envious serpent.

I kept sharing with my closest intercessor friends for the weeks prior to Jan. 6th that we dare NOT attach our expectations of “successful intercession” to a specific outcome. They, more than I, had hung on every prophecy going back to Kim Clement and many since then. I kept hearing the Holy Spirit warn me to “look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of my faith.” Not that I disbelieve there are authentic prophets in the Body today. But that I believe in the sovereignty of God ABOVE ALL! Yes, my heart is extremely heavy. My sleep is disrupted. My dreams are about situations that ALMOST happened for the good, then suddenly fell apart. With family members and friends – but symbolic of the nation.Does God change His mind or His strategy? Yes! We know that from the Word. Does He change His WILL or PURPOSE for mankind? No, never. So, however He moves in the affairs of this world, HIS PURPOSES WILL STAND SECURE FOREVER. That is my only hope today.

The only time in scripture where God changed His mind was thru Intercessors. Example Abraham., Moses ., not to destroy a nation. God’s timetable isn’t ours., and we need to pray like Elijah did., until we see rain. Unfortunately., we give up and don’t continue to pray

Yes! Until “sin is seen as exceedingly sinful” the nation will not fall on her knees in repentance. So we keep interceding in full faith!

There is no “mystery” about America’s problems, we just refuse to read Scripture accurately and see our lives through it. Read the Book of Hosea. America is repeating the same evil pattern ancient Israel fell into. We got complacent in God’s grace. We allowed secular interests to squeeze, then force YHWH’s Salvation – JESUS- out of our lives. We rushed into institutionalized adultery. We murdered 60,000,000 of God’s babies, returned to Sodom and Gomorrah, and embraced every false god imaginable – and it’s getting worse, not better. Where is the Jonah calling America to repent in sack cloth and ashes?
The prayers I hear don’t confess our national sins, as Daniel did. They only say we are sorry we got caught and want to return to the good ol’ days. We think if we pray loud enough and long enough we can change the mind of God – where did you get that pagan idea? Prayer is for us, not to change the immutable God. Prayer is to break down the old Adam in us, confess our sin, and conform us to the will of God – “Thy will be done” – not my will!
And now, our prayers should be for strength in the coming tribulation – that we will not fall away from Christ.

I respectfully disagree with your comment about lack of repentance. I went to DC in September., and seeing 150,000 people repenting for the sin of abortion was incredible.

Sorry, I never heard about that. How did they repent? Where were the other 329,850,000 people?

        January 23, 2021

We have to realize that everyone isn’t saved in this country….so there will not be a “national” repentance …..God is looking to His church to repent. II Chronicles 7:14 is written to “My people”. It is not the time for sarcasm…no need for believers to belittle others or make unnecessary comments….that is exactly what the enemy wants.
We do have to examine ourselves in light of God’s Word and repent individually. I cannot repent for others. It is one heart and one mind at a time. If the church does the will of God then we have every right to expect His intervention…in His time and in His way….

        3
          Rev. Ronald Roland
          January 23, 2021

I cannot say for sure there will not be a “national” repentance, but it will only happen if the Holy Spirit brings it about, which will only happen through hearing God’s Word, and that is the job of the Church – the Body of Christ. The life of the Christian is one of daily repentance, saint yet sinner.
Most of the country may sense that abortion is “wrong” but they don’t know that there is a point where God’s patience runs out against the sins of man – even a false “church” that goes along with the world. You could ask Sodom and Gomorrah, if that were possible, they had lost any sense of sin. You could ask ancient Israel – or just read the Book of Hosea to see God’s indictment against a people He Himself had saved – many times.
I don’t know what the numbers for repentance are, but the whole great city of Nineveh, even the king, repented in sack cloth and ashes – and our sins, number-wise are much greater than theirs.
We absolutely do not have the right to make demands on God – has the pot the right to tell the Potter what to make? You have no idea what God’s plans are except to bring this fallen, evil world to a final conclusion at some point, described allegorically in the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ. God has already intervened in your life when He Baptized you into the Body of Christ, because your name was written the Lamb’s Book of Life. He wants you to pray for strength to remain faithful and be a loving example to a lost and hurting world.

Yes they are false prophets. That’s the necessary conclusion when someone prophesies something in God’s name and it doesn’t happen. Your unwillingness to admit this allows these “prophets” to evade accountability, compromises the witness of the church, and continues to lead ten of thousands into misplaced hope. You claim to be the remnant, but it appears you are quite the opposite.

    January 23, 2021

I do not believe they are false prophets as mentioned in the Old Testament and here is why. The apostle Paul tells the church at Corinth to “seek earnestly the spiritual gifts, especially prophecy”. Why would he encourage people to move in this gift, and then banish them if they misinterpreted the word? He tells the church that other prophets should test the prophecy, which implies to me that it is possible for a prophet to misinterpret, otherwise why the need to test it? In the Old Testament the false prophets purposely tried to lead the people away from God. I do not believe this was the intention of these latest prophets. Some have retracted their words and asked for forgiveness. Some are still believing.

      Rev. Ronald Roland
      January 23, 2021

Misinterpreting the Word of God is the definition of false prophecy, and the devil is at the center of it. Intentional or otherwise the result is the same, to lead God’s people astray, into despair and unbelief, when their prayers and prophecy fail.
Old Testament prophets and New Testament apostles all had direct revelation from God. No one, since St. John at the end of the first century has been able to demonstrate direct revelation despite all the claims. We no longer need it. We have the True and everlasting Word – if we will stop trying to twist it to our own liking. Remember, Scripture interprets Scripture, not our itching ears.
      Rev. Ronald Roland

        Michael Guidera
        January 23, 2021

If what you say is true, then why does the Apostle Paul say to seek earnestly the spiritual gifts, and especially prophecy? I do not see any scripture that negates this word from him.

        2
          Rev. Ronald Roland
          January 23, 2021

The Spiritual gifts were given when the water was poured over you in the Name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Thus reborn from above of water and the Spirit, you do seek prophecy, for to prophesy is to receive the gifts of God and give Him glory, not merely try to predict the future – which Jesus specifically warned against. Holy Scripture will not negate the words of St. Paul, for Scripture interprets Scripture.

We can’t blame the prophets they have a specific purpose, however, we still have an obligation to pray and seek God for our selves, the prophets didn’t lie. President Trump did win, the evidence doesn’t lie. Regardless of what anyone says this was a stolen election. Joe Bidden is a counterfeit. However, we need to come together to prayer instead of pointing fingers at people. Because God is a just God righteousness and truth are going to prevail. God can never bless wrong and lies.

Not so. Many prophetic words were given which took years to come to pass:
Daniel after 70 years in Babylon.
David as king after about 15 years.
Jesus birth, death and resurrection after I don’t know how many years

We all see in part but give what the Lord says or shows as truthfully as we understand it.

Thank you Michael for you wonderful writing that embodies what I feel. I pray for the lifting up of this country and will not stop. I will continue praying for God’s supernatural power to come!

Thank you for pouring out your process of what so many of us have also gone through. The transparency blessed me, encouraged me, and helped be a fresh drink of water on my soul. It is as though we have come back from giving our strength on the field of battle: exhausted, perplexed, knowing we must go back.
Seasoned commanders shake themselves off, refresh themselves and await orders for the next strategies from heaven. We take our places on the wall and continue to pray, believe renewed in body, soul, and spirit.

Along with Donald Trump’s Loss i also lost a friend. Hopeful it is temporary. This person said they regretted their biden vote but felt justified trashing trump. This person had the ignaguration on all day and said it was very good. I knew then the regret was superficial. I had to end the relationship because we were divided and i could not pray in unity for the country. It was not who they voted for but what they voted for. I said to pray for truth as to why you voted the way you did as a christian and if you trully regret your vote then renounce your vote in the spirit realm. I lost a friend and it hurt. Even in the church we are blind and divided. Where was the pastor? The politics of today are now spiritually dark. The church must be united in spirit, truth, worship, and intercession.

The prophets were correct. Donald Trump won by a landslide. But the evil one intervened using the World Economic Forum. If you listen to David Barton on Wallbuilders interview Glenn Beck you will understand. It makes everything clear about why no one stood behind Donald Trump to defend him. I am now asking the Lord to give me a new strategy on How to pray about this world system devised by the evil one to take over the world. You begin right where you are at locally.

I sympathize with your views and emotions and went through grief and heartache on wednesday.( 20th of jan).I was already upset and bewildered that christians and patriots now were called terrorists and Trump an insurrector. I have listened to all the speeches held in the rally in DC over and over and all Trump said was to walk to Capitol Hill peacefully and make their voices heard. The vote is our voice and the presence of thousands of voters outside the building would hopefully strenghten the weak and fearful senators and representatives to do the right thing, I thought. That has happened many times before in DC that people have gathered to have their voices heard outside the Capitol. I know many who was there on jan 6. and they experienced prayers and hymns and feelings of hope and unity.

The playbook of the left’s guru, Saul Alinsky is to blame your opponent for your own actions and to critize and lie blatantly and create fear and confusion. Did that happen in front of our eyes? On the election night I watched the vote counting during the whole night. I saw with my own eyes that Biden gained votes and the same number of gain for Biden was subtracted from Trumpvotes. Several times. I am convinced that fraud was the tool of the left and those Republicans who had compromised themselves. Biden said so himself in a clip where he seemed to reassure people that since Obama they had created the most extensive voterfraud system ever concocted by man and that they would win.(in my words) I saw it on Blaze. It was joked about by the talkshow hosts and thought of as a proof of dementia in Biden. To me it looked like he was talking to his own people and that the footage had been leaked. It did not look doctored. There are many unusual things happening in the US and the world. In many countries the Lord has raised up an army of intercessors to pray and intercede for the election and Trump. Since 2018 more and more christians in other countries started praying. I have never heard about anything like this movement in history. Christians in many countries see the US as a beacon of hope for good and for God’s word and laws to become widespread.

But it seems evil has had the upper hand. And then we have the World Economic Forum (Klaus Schwab) talking about the Great Reset of the economy and the world’s systems to take place in 2021. It sounds quite ungodly and ominous. It is related to the UN’ s agendas 21 and 2030. Equity instead of equality. Renting instead of ownership. Etc. I think it is the secular world’s plan to take ownership of property away from all people and that this is connected to the ownership of our identity and bodies. The WEF say we will own nothing and be happy. It is all on their webpage. I checked up Klaus Schwab and he is a transhumanist. LGBTQ is an important part of transhumanism. Coupled with AI and enhancement ideologies of humankind. Their idea of humanity is called posthumanity. The fox is in the henhouse.

Many people around the world are worried for their future. And have a sense of worry and unease. God has given christians worldwide the same words and scripturesabout a release from bondage in Egypt through the red sea. Maybe God’s answer to these times is for revival to open the world’s nations to God’s justice and then his laws will again be the laws of nations? I strengthen myself with the knowledge that God knows the ending from the beginning. I still believe in the prophets who have proclaimed God’s hand will save America and bless the world. As long as God through his holy spirit burdens my heart I will pray. Ps 33:10-12; The Lord bringeth the counsel of the heathen to nought; he maketh the devices of the people to no effect. The counsel of the Lord standeth forever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

I pray every day that God’s will be done in America. Be blessed prayerwarriors and stand up for God’s truth. Whatever God loves is hated by Evil. But God always wins. Keep on declaring God’s words over America and truth and the constitution. And the lost of the world. A wise man said: all it takes for evil to win is for good men to do nothing. So stand on the truth and fight for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. He will never forsake us. Be blessed. Be strong. Be patient.

My wife and I have prayed all along “Lord, we know that this country has earned your judgement for it’s actions, but we pray for your mercy for the remnant and for the unborn, which have so benefitted by the Presidency under Donald Trump. We pray that he would be reelected, and that the evil that so desires to devour our country would not prevail.”
We are disappointed that by blatent fraud and complete disregard for the rule of law, at every level of government, Biden has been awarded the Presidency. Our country deserves God’s judgement. Judgment, and persecution, are coming.
Let the light of the Holy Spirit shine forth in your life, into the dark world around you.
It is not time to be a soft, wimpy Christian. Persecution refines, strengthens, and grows the Church. Arm yourselves with the full Armour of God, and stand!

Every word of true prophets comes true. Period. Always was, always will. We are to keep our eyes on the living God and his Word. Not on presidents, prophets, politics, and persuasions beyond their roles in God’s workings–which we only know in part. Because we only know in part, let us keep our persuasions in reverent relationship to God’s unchanging Truth. His thoughts and ways are not ours, they are much higher. Holy are you, Lord!

Michael,

Thank you! You are not alone in your thoughts. Your article summed up my thoughts perfectly. It is irreconcilable that mass fraud was used to install not just a President, but the Senate too. Could it be that everything they said about a WIN even Trump was that at the end we would as Christians die to self and search our hearts and surrender totally to Him. That is a WIN! Because He gets us totally to that place so we can now act on the outpouring of the harvest that is here. Many need Jesus and He wanted Trump and all of us to be ready for that and it’s takes humbleness and only GOD to get the glory…He is not finished and the work He had planned is the same but He has His remnant in position right where He wants them. In Faith, humbled, afresh and courageous for all! Keep eyes on Jesus. Those things and prayers done in secret He rewards thee openly. God gets glory! He is not finished!

When Mr. Guidera said he was grieving over the result of the Presidential election, that is exactly how I felt and still do. The President who loves this country and worked so hard for it and its people was booted out of office and I do believe by fraudulent means. I am trying to accept that it is God’s will and plan that Biden is in office, although all he stands for is against what any rational person would agree with. This article is somewhat comforting to know that others feel as I do. I will sincerely try to remember the current state must be the will of God and accept the frightening situation we find ourselves in.

I needed to read this. Your 1 Corinthians 4 passage really put it all into perspective. We are in the same state as the Apostles and look what they accomplished over time and through generations. Through out the election I always knew the possibility of a Trump loss was real. Non- believers and the media opposition is a strong force in number and power, but even with this happening, I still feel God has a plan. God still wants to build his kingdom here on Earth. He doesn’t just want to build his kingdom in the US but in all the Earth. Our faith and commitment can’t be in one man but in Almighty God alone. I do have a question about your post. What do you mean when you say the prophets predicted Trump would win?

John 11
3)So the sisters sent word
to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”
4)When He heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” 5)Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. 6)So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days, 7)and then he said to his disciples, “Let us go back to Judea.”
17)On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days.
32)When Mary reached the place where Jesus was and saw him, she fell at his feet and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.”
33)When Jesus saw her weeping, and the Jews who had come along with her also weeping, he was deeply moved in spirit and troubled.
35)Jesus wept.
38)Jesus, once more deeply moved, came to the tomb.
40)Then Jesus said, “Did I not tell you that if you “believe,” you will see the “glory” of God?”
41)So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42)I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may ‘believe” that you sent me.”
43)When he had said this, Jesus called in a loud voice, “Lazarus, come out!”
44)The dead man came out, his hands and feet wrapped with strips of linen, and a cloth around his face.
Jesus said to them, “Take off the grave clothes and let him go.”

We do not need to make excuses for our God!! He is never late!! Jesus has always been on time executing the will of His Father. Just as Jesus loved Mary, Martha, and Lazarus, He loves President Trump, America, and God’s people called by His name!! God will not allow the “left” to continue much longer!! He has a plan, and we must continue to stand, for America, and President Trump!! It is not over!! Justice is coming!! Get excited, we are going to see God move in a powerful way!! Many things have to be “completely exposed” before justice can be revealed, and prevailed!! DO NOT FEAR!! God is working!! I feel soon we will be rejoicing with victory!! Stand fast…….. and when you have “done all you can do” STAND!! “Believe, trust, pray, declare!!” Just as Jesus said in John 11:4 “This will not end in death. No it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” He will be glorified!!
Soon, the world will see visibly what has been taking place in the spiritual!! Walk to the waters edge!! New life for America, President Donald Trump, and God’s people!! Spring is coming!!
Blessings to you prayer warriors.

I can truly relate to these same sentiments regarding President Trump, the wisdom with which he presided, policies, our country, etc. and the fraudulent election. Now, we are have those in DC who have placed themselves in power. And you know what, still they are not happy. They truly are a miserable LOT. We may feel disheartened because of what they think they have succeeded in doing for a little while, but they have dark hearts and live in misery and torment. They find no contentment in their lies, deceit, and plots of destruction.
I have prayed with all of you, and the other night in bible study the Lord showed me to pray for the enemy. In reality that is what they are to us believers. We prayed fervently for an election win, and God gave us an election win. He answered our prayers. Little did we know, it was going to be stolen from us. So, if we pray for the enemies in Washington DC as fervently as we prayed for President Trump’s re-election, imagine the possibilities of the hearts being changed and a difference it would make in America.

The prophets were indeed correct- Donald Trump won the election. The enemy knows it and we should too. The enemy out maneuvered us and now sits in Washington. They have been planning while we were all complacent thinking that President Trump could defeat the entire corruption around him as one by one our politicians fell like a row of dominoes to the will of the enemy. Few stood with Trump at the end. Gods ways are not ours. We prayed for evil to be exposed.. and now it is celebrated and living the high life for a season. We do not loose heart. God will not be mocked. Put on the armor of light. The world is moving to crush us. The saints had better be prepared for what is coming. Praying with all might repentance and supplication.

Thank you for writing this article. I have gone through nearly all the stages of grief that you listed.
I do believe the prophets got it right. I prayed that Trump would win, I believe he did, I prayed that God would expose the evil with undeniable and irrefutable evidence and I believe He did. But, the evil that has been placed in positions of leadership and influence is greater than I ever imagined. But, not greater than God!
I am confident that this is God’s will for I also believe that He is positioning us to defeat this evil that permeates our nation, once and for all. We are at a crossroads now – either be like sheep led to slaughter or fight like soldiers for Christ. The days ahead may be dark but light always overcomes the darkness. Put on your armor of prayer and use it to defeat those who wish to destroy.

God answered the prayers of those who prayed that Biden would win. Trump is the opposite of Godly. Biden is a real Christian. Biden’s principles are more closely aligned with those of the Bible. Anita, are you insane or in league with the enemy? On one issue and one issue alone do we know with all certainty that Biden is filled with the antichrist spirit. He showed that IMMEDIATELY with his pledge of support and funding of the demonic practice of child sacrifice-abortion. Abortion in America has killed over 60 million human lives since 1973. Multiple states are restoring late term abortions. And Biden will remove whatever weak abortion restrictions America currently has in place for this horrific practice.
Biden will be restoring federal funding of Planned Parenthood. He plans to fight state-level endeavors to end abortion as well as codify Roe vs. Wade into law. Christian employers may find themselves forced to cover employee’s abortifacients under insurance plans.
God hates hands that shed innocent blood and destroyed nations and punished Israel for this practice.
You need to be very careful with whom you are aligning yourself. President Trump was far from perfect, but on this and several other issues (honoring Israel for one) shows who is more closely aligned with God’s principles.
Anyone who aligns themselves with the gods of child sacrifice (Molech and Baal) aligns themselves with the god of this world, the enemy of God, the father of lies. Do not believe him. He has blinded you to the truth. God will not be mocked.
I have to also mention that Biden and his compatriots who took communion before he signed off on the sacrifice of children, all committed blasphemy. “For he that eats and drinks unworthily, eats and drinks damnation to themselves”.
Biden’s campaign promises of virtually-unlimited taxpayer-funded abortion and immediate acceptance of the so-called “Equality Act” and shredding of certain religious liberties in the name of fighting “hate,” prove he is anything but repentant nor is he aligning himself with godly principles…his actions and words have also supported or smoothed the way for grave moral evils in our public life that have resulted in the destruction of millions of innocent lives.
Again, Trump was not perfect by any means. But he stood for life. Not death. He honored Israel and whoever honors God’s chosen people will be honored and blessed.
Don’t let your hatred for one man blind yourself to the truth and yoke yourself to unrighteousness.

Since June I keep seeing a visions of the blood of Jesus. The weeks before the riots in Washington DC I kept seeing a hallway of Jesus blood. The Sunday morning before the riots I thought what do I do in a hallway? I come into hallway and go out of a hallway. It is never a place where I arrive. Before the election and the riots I was under the blood of Jesus and now I am under the blood of Jesus. I know many people don’t believe in pleading the blood of Jesus. My Catholic great Aunt use to always plead the Precious Blood of Jesus. Forty-eight years ago when I was filled with the Holy Spirit at 17 I would join a small group of old women on Tuesday morning to pray. They were always pleading the blood of Jesus. Now like them I am going to pray in the Holy Ghost, put on the garment of praise for this spirit of heaviness (Isaiah 61: 3), pray the word and plead the blood of Jesus.

Your sentiments mirror my own in so many ways! With the way our president blessed Israel, I was disappointed and confused to see the outcome of the election. Consequently, as the days roll by, I am beginning to realize that my priorities are obviously not matching up with God’s, and that He obviously has a better plan than the one I was thinking of. Today, I am hearing a whisper, “Do you trust Me?”. Do you hear it too?

This was a right on target how I was feeling after the election on many levels. It made me know that I was not the only one that was feeling the way I did. The Holy Ghost was present when this was written! Thank you for putting into words and a prayer For what so many people have been feeling since the election. I know that God does have a plan in place from the start, and we all must believe and wait on our Lord God to deliver it in his timing not ours. Amen!

Let me help you with “ the three possible conclusions concerning the Prophets predictions” (hint: it isn’t, “I don’t know”). Number 1 is: The Prophets were NOT wrong. Number 2 is: God did NOT change His mind. And Number 3 is: It’s definitely NOT over yet.
Hope this helped. Now you can stop grieving.

Dear brothers and sisters, I don’t believe in all those prophesies… they were not from God.. The only prophecies we need to believe and act and pray with are those in the Bible… I also very much prayed and wanted Pres. Trump to be reelected but in the end it is the will of God we need to pray for…His will be done on earth as it is in heaven
Now we need to concentrate on praying for the lost… even among the republicans some are not believers and among the democrat some people are maybe prepared to be part of the fold of our Lord Jesus.
I am praying in that way…
The end times are approaching and our main mission is to spread the Gospel so that many people won’t be judged but be part of the Bride of Christ and therefore protected by Him

I pray for you all.

Sisterly in Christ…

its for that very reason we need good government so that we can live tranquil and peacefully here on earth according to 1 Tim 2:1-4 which means having freedom to spread the gospel to the world. This administrations objective is to take this freedom from the church, however I decree it will not work in Jesus’s name. I would like to share this message with you from Derek Prince titled Ruling by Prayer. Amos 3:7 KJV states Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he reveals his secret unto his servants the prophets. I don’t believe the prophets lied, this was a stolen election. God is going to expose the corruption and fraud. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_7akj9eiMA&t=18s

Mr. Guidera,
You put words to how I am feeling. I literally could have written this myself! Thank you so much for helping me grieve. We’ll make it through this and come out the other side stronger, and with a deeper intimacy with our Lord.
