NEW DEVO WRITTEN BY GLORIA ROBLES
What follows is an excerpt from our latest daily devotional, written by IFA Contributing Writer Gloria Robles. God revealed truth for intercessors through the lives of Daniel, Esther, and Moses. Click the image to sign up for this 5-day email series.
These past couple of months I have found myself praying more, reading and studying the Word more. The days we are in have had me seeking to know God more. I believe times of crisis lead people to Jesus. I am seeing more and more of that on my social media timelines.
Recently, the Lord highlighted three biblical figures while I was reading the Bible, asking me to take some time to study their lives. He highlighted Daniel, Esther, and Moses. As I studied their lives, I found some common threads and lessons I believe we can learn from in times such as these.
Daniel had a spirit of excellence. His character really stands out more than anything else. Do you believe that character matters? God does. Did you know that God would rather you have godly character, than be anointed and have no character? Yes, it matters.
Esther’s life was marked by her obedience. She was many things, but her obedience stands out, especially in light of her precarious circumstances. Many of us will not obey under circumstances we didn’t ask for, but not Esther. Her obedience saved many lives.
Moses’ life was marked by a deep relationship with God. He didn’t care that the people spoke of stoning him. He didn’t fixate on all the signs, wonders, and miracles God did. He fixed his eyes on the God of the miracles. All Moses wanted was to know God more.
Each person had a difficult story surrounding their lives, but are not remembered for their past. Their lives are marked with persecution, but also with intercession. They made history. They made the Hebrews’ hall of faith (Hebrews 11). Moses is mentioned by name. Daniel, although not mentioned by name, is mentioned when it says their faith “shut the mouth of lions.” Although Esther is not mentioned, I believe she is one of the many in Hebrews 11:32 where it says “it would take too long to recount the stories.” A captive, an orphan, and a shepherd, three unlikely heroes and yet each has been recorded in the Bible for us today. If God could use a captive, an orphan, and shepherd, what can do with your life?

Seems a lot like Derek Princes Daily “podcasts” on The Basics of Intercession back in the day. In it he drew principles from the life of Abraham, Moses, Esther and Daniel. I would post the link here that was posted by Intercessors for America, but links are not allowed. God bless anyone and everyone helping to further the highest call, together with the ministry of preaching, in this day, time and hour, in Jesus’ name

Our Father in heaven,
Holy is Your Name. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Let the Body of Christ be reminded that You are omnipresent omniscient and omnipotent God. You are the only one that can see human soul, heart and their intention. Your power is beyond our understanding. Your Holy Spirit is with us as we received the amazing grace of Jesus Christ.
We thank You that we can pray 24/7. Please forgive our sins as we forgive others who sins against us.
We thank you for this article so that we, the Body of Christ be reminded that Characters matter to God. Help us to fixate our eyes on YOU like Moses. Be obedience like Esther and dare to stand on what is Truth like Daniel.
Father God, we trust that You have plan for each of the Body of Christ, help each one of us to realize that and take action to accomplish what You have planned for us before the foundation of the world.
Father God, forgive us, the Body of Christ in America who have been sleeping. From now on, help us to stay awake and pray without ceasing about current matters. Help us to exercise the characters of Obedience in studying Your Bible to know YOU more and more so that many more will dare to stand like Daniel in a matter of running America to keep their allegiance to King Jesus.
Father God, we ask that the resources of the ungodly (Antifa, BLM, The Good Club, ACLU, Planned Parenthood, GGE, Open Society Foundation, the Hollywood Elites The Globalist, The Cartels, CCP, Russia etc) to dry up. Just as Jesus spoke to the nonproducing fig tree and it dried up from the roots, we speak to the resources of those who work evil in our government and command their money, communication, and alliances to dry up from the roots. May the amazing grace of Jesus Christ be among them, so that they understand who You are that they understand that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of understanding.
In Jesus name bind demonic principalities of witchcraft, hate, and division that keep American to be united.
Keep us humble and put our trust on You forever and ever.
May the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us all from today onward.
We love You, Father… thank You for loving us first. For Yours is the glory forever and ever. In Jesus’ holy, mighty, majestic, and matchless name we pray, Amen.”
Practically speaking, I have more years behind me than ahead.
Praying God will use me for such a time as this.
Thank you IFA! God uses you to ignite my prayers and focus on His Word as I read the articles and comments from powerful intercessors. All for His glory!
