A new survey released by the Washington, D.C., nonprofit Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation reflects that, if the younger generation gets out and votes in 2020, those running for office on the far left have reason to be hopeful.

According to YouGov, which conducted the poll, capitalism, amid a widening divide between the haves and have-nots, has plunged in popularity from a year ago, with one out of every two millennials — ages 23 to 38 — supporting it.
Meanwhile, 36% of millennials polled say that they approve of communism, which is up significantly from 28% in 2018.
Socialism, a dirty word to the president and many of his supporters, has shown a decrease in favorability in all age groups except the Silent Generation (age 74+) and millennials, of which 70% say they’d be likely to vote for a socialist candidate.
Marion Smith, executive director of the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation, says he’s troubled by the findings of the poll.
“The historical amnesia about the dangers of communism and socialism is on full display in this year’s report,” Smith said in a statement on Monday. “When we don’t educate our youngest generations about the historical truth of 100 million victims murdered at the hands of communist regimes over the past century, we shouldn’t be surprised at their willingness to embrace Marxist ideas.”
Other nuggets from the report include that 22% of millennials believe “society would be better if all private property was abolished,” and that 45% of Generation Z members and millennials believe that “all higher education should be free.”
As for the biggest threat to world peace, 27% across every generation pointed a finger at President Trump, while 22% named North Korea’s Kim Jong-Un and 15% picked Russia’s Vladimir Putin.

My goodness, Heavenly Father, what is this world coming to? Our young people are not taught THE TRUTH in school (they have NO IDEA what Socialism really, is, or Communism). They are being misled by politicians who are telling lies and making empty promises. Heavenly Father, for the remnant of those of us who still believe in Your grace, mercy, and supernatural power and control, PLEASE intercede in the election this year. We need President Trump again as a president – I truly believe You put him in the White House, because he has supported our religious freedom, he supports Pro-Life (not abortion), and I believe he has our best interested at heart. May he seek Your face in all of the decisions he makes. God, please help our country!!

I know many people in the “Silent” generation (since I am one), and none of them look on socialism and/or communism favorably. I pray that these pollsters start telling the truth. And those of us who know the truth need to get out and vote.

I am concerned about the overflow of information in the world through the internet. I believe it is overwhelming to most people. It is like watching media 24/7 with continual commercials.

I had no idea people over 74 were considered silent. I’m over 74 and I’m not silent and neither are any of my friends over 74. We vote, we absolutely vote, and we go to caucuses and political events. The only silent ones I know if are either dead or for some reason are unable.
Father- The indoctrination of our youth in our public schools is horrifying. We have allowed the children of America to be pumped with lies and incomplete truth regarding our nation’s history as well as the horrifying consequences of socialism. It is hard to comprehend why anyone would want to give up the freedom to become what they choose for the control of the government in all areas of life. But our founding fathers said that if we didn’t remain people who followed Your ways we could not sustain as a nation. We are seeing the fruit of removing you from our schools and even from many churches. We so need you. We cannot survive unless you bring us back to you. Please have mercy and touch our nation with a move of your Spirit. May there be a call to repentance and reform.
Lord, as we lift up our nation to You, we declare Your truth and that of no other. You have established this union of states under a covenant made with our forefathers. We refuse every divisive tactic of the enemy trying to divide and plunder this nation! We speak unity – this IS the UNITED States of America, a government of, by, and for the people. By Your grace and mercy alone we were formed and we refuse to be divided. We stand against the spirit of fear trying to divide and conquer, for You have given us power, love and a sound mind. I know I don’t need to tell you people — just keep praying. This is a spiritual battle manifesting itself in the political realm. Pray about the politics, about the culture, about the educational and MSM indoctrination. But, also pray against the demonic entities pushing this crap into our peoples’ heads.
I agree with Mary. I pray to lift up our pastors. Give them boldness and strength to persevere with the truth in love. Give them far reaching wisdom, Lord, to continue to lead the sheep to victory! In the mighty name of Jesus, AMEN!

Lord please wake up people. Have them read and think, especially young people. Different people have different views because they have had different experiences. If you don’t agree with someone don’t tell and be difficult but try to understand. Ask questions. Lord please continue to give wisdom to those who ask.i pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen
A pastor recently invited other pastors in his community to come and pray. Not one single pastor would participate. People other than pastors did. Perhaps if those other pastors would stop preaching the feel good gospel and start recognizing the signs of the times they and their congregations would be on their face crying out to God for mercy because surely judgement is at the door.
As the Church, Jesus we stand with You and declare Life, salvation, healing, freedom, blessings and a huge move of God’s Spirit pouring out across the USA. We pray in Your purposes and design for America to be a beacon of freedom, truth and the gospel.
We stand against death, curses, anger, fear, slavery, abortion, spiritual blindness and the agenda of the enemy to take over our nation.
Position each believer and anoint them with Your powerful Spirit, their calling and voice for such a time as this.
Raise up Your people in every sector, city, state, and place of darkness to bring in Your truth, love and goodness and transform our culture from top to bottom and inside out, Jesus.
Don’t let us stay silent. Flood us with Your heart, love and eyes for the hurting, lost, fearful, angry and broken.
Draw them in to Your great feast.

Amen Beth. One thing is clear. Sooner or later destructive socialism will be the order of the day. The antichrist will rule in a socialist dictatorial govt. Prophecy will be fulfilled. Evil man will face the consequences of their evil choices. We can only pray that its later than sooner. We pray God will revive his church and save many from the evil days to come. We have to watch and pray. We have to warn people. The earth melting with heat, fire like it says in book of Peter and hail etc from heaven is going to happen and it’s more fearful than any climate crisis. But I’m sure satan will lie and say it’s a result of climate crisis not Gods wrath on unGodly man so man will not seek to repent. May God have mercy upon us and cause the church to arise and watch and pray.
Socialists/Communists fall into two groups. The first is the Naive Idealists, who really want to eradicate suffering. They truly care about those less fortunate than themselves and want to make the world a happy place. But they are hopelessly ignorant of history and human nature i.e. the greed for money and/or power that easily takes over.(Anybody know about Lenin and Trotsky??) The Naive Idealists are used by the second group of Socialists, those who want to establish socialism as the door into complete,power and control over the population.The second group, the Controllers, One Worlders, Deep State etc always eventually take over and destroy the Naive Idealists after they have used them. What happened in the Union of Soviet SOCIALIST Republics?? Venezuela, Cuba, Ethiopia etc. Today, we need to “pray our lights out” that the American People are not fooled by the naive idealism consequently and vote for destruction and death on many levels.
