Watch through; at about 6 minutes Eric Gilmour explains how to know if you have lost your first love for Jesus and what you can do about it. If the church of Ephesus, which Jesus said had patient endurance, good works, spiritual discernment, and had not grown weary, could forsake their first love, so might we.

Wording the question a little differently, “if the Holy Spirit left, what would change?”
Thank you Jeshua for sending Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth. I’m thankful you dont expect us to be perfect. We can repent! We can turn back to you.

It is and has to be “ all “ about Jesus!
The Spirit of God in me guides me in all truth, enables me to acknowledge my daily need for the One in whom I live, move and have my being! It’s a choice a personal choice we make! No amount of teachings, videos or comments by others, though we give Glory to God for it can fulfill what our hearts are yearning for! It is a personal decision! Based on what we already know or the lack thereof! The Spirit of God knows us completely! So we make a choice to listen to that voice, His leading or we listen to whom or what we think is best! Therefore the Word of God in Proverbs 3:5-7 is crucial to read and confess!
I recognize that in my own understanding I can make the wrong choice but when I trust in the Lord with all of my heart and the leading of the inward witness the Holy Spirit and full dependence upon Him I stay true to my First Love!
Jesus Christ is our/ my resting place in God!
And continue to believe in, trust in, lean on and cleave to the Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart, growing in Him!
It’s a decision!! A personal decision!
