A growing weariness is seeping into the Body of Christ, even among the most passionate of intercessors, those who have stood firm in faith concerning God’s promises for our nation. For some who began this journey with immovable faith and hope, today that faith and hope seems to be dwindling rapidly. Who could blame them? Given the waves of unprecedented disappointments — from fraudulent elections, to extreme riots, to hurricanes that have devastated cities — the temptation to become disillusioned and to feel hopeless is all too real.
Join others crying out to the Lord day and night.
But hope never dies a natural death; it dies of betrayals, disappointments, losses, wounds.
It dies of weariness.
The people of this nation have lately endured a plethora of backstabbing and wounding. Consequently, many of those fighting hardest on the front lines have become worn out. Some have already lost hope — or are in the process of losing it.
Daniel 7:25 tells us the time is coming when the devil will work overtime to weary God’s people. One translation says he will oppress the people of God. I believe we are now seeing this very thing occur across our land. Many of my closest friends, people who are strong in God, are experiencing extreme weariness. How do we combat this? Is there, after all, any hope to hold on to?
Of course there is! Our hope must remain firmly anchored in God and His word, regardless of what we see, hear, and feel. However, we must also be keenly aware that hope begins to diminish when we fail to take time to replenish the source of our hope. As the Scripture says: Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God … (Psalm 42:5–6).
Several weeks ago, I began to experience this weariness that seems to be invading the souls of God’s people. I had endured many disappointments on a personal level. Beyond that, it appeared to me that things in our wonderful nation were getting continually worse. All these distresses were on my mind daily, and the weariness began to seep in. As I sought the Lord, He impressed upon me to set apart 30 days to spend with Him and in His word. Like many of you, I work daily, so I knew this wouldn’t be easy, but it was obviously necessary. Apart from work, I cut out everything else. I did not watch television or get on social media. I did not go out and eat with friends and family. If I wasn’t at work, I was either listening to preaching/teaching, praying, or reading my Bible.
Those few short weeks were life-changing to me. I am so thankful for that brief period of time. It brought great refreshing to my soul and my mind. My hope was restored, and my joy returned. Things that had previously stressed me no longer had that power. It was awesome.
As I returned to the busyness of daily routine, however, I did notice that the weariness was trying to creep back in. I remembered that the key to renewed hope is found in what I had received during those 30 days. I quickly took inventory of my daily life and again found time to immerse myself more in reading God’s word, listening to anointed teaching, and spending time in prayer, praise, and worship. I kept myself in peace by keeping my mind stayed upon Him. By means of my pursuing this simple act, that weariness has not returned, and a peace that passes understanding has continually saturated my life. It is so simple, and yet also an important reminder for many of us.
Though the enemy relentlessly attempts to weary God’s people, God has already given us the antidote for this poison: It is found in His word and in spending intimate time with Him; it comes through keeping our mind stayed upon God; it is the reward of listening to Him more than we do the world and its media.
Have the cares of this world wearied you today? If so, remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 11:28–30: Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy-laden and overburdened, and I will cause you to rest. [I will ease and relieve and refresh your souls.] Take My yoke upon you and learn of Me, for I am gentle (meek) and humble (lowly) in heart, and you will find rest (relief and ease and refreshment and recreation and blessed quiet) for your souls. For My yoke is wholesome (useful, good—not harsh, hard, sharp, or pressing, but comfortable, gracious, and pleasant), and My burden is light and easy to be borne (AMPC).
My friend, our hope is not dead — it is alive and well, for us, our families, our cities, and our nation. This hope is anchored in God alone and cannot be moved. Let’s get our eyes back on Him and return to a place of peace, hope and joy!

The Lord said as believers in Him and his Father, we are to expect trials and adversity of bad things. Most of all, through all this, Satan has already been defeated when Jesus shed his blood for all of mankind and said “it is finished!” The pain and suffering here on earth is only a whisp compared to eternity in Heaven with Him!!

I believe reading, praying and meditating on the book of Jeremiah has helped me keep perspective. He was given the task of instructing, correcting, warning and encouraging his nation at a time when a national revival was not guaranteed. Judgment was at the door and would not be averted but their was hope in the mercy of God to take them through these hard times.

Heavenly Father,
Help us to continue to live for You. You are in control, and we need to trust You and remember that You see the beginning from the end. You have won the battle and it is You who empowers us via the Holy Spirit. Help us to keep our focus on You and not anything in this world. Give us your peace, wisdom, discernment and strength to continue to live and share the Love of Jesus with everyone we meet, no matter the cost.

So….what were God’s promises to our nation?
I thought of that too. Our nation is not in the bible. We can hope and pray and seek God’s will and mercy for our country, but I haven’t read about any promises for our nation.
I pray for God’s mercy on this nation and ask Him for His forgiveness for the horrible things that have happened, and continue to happen, in this country. There are many that are seeking Him and want morals and Godly leaders in this nation, but there is also great evil rising up. We are in a spiritual battle after all.
My hope is in Christ Jesus. I know what His word says in regards to believers and what’s to come for this fallen world. Our hope should be in His return and the glory He will receive in that. No more pain, no more sorrow.
I’d love for this world to have peace and for people to not be so evil, but that’s not realistic and there’s no peace without Christ. It doesn’t mean I don’t pray for His mercy, protection and for things to improve. I still hope for these things because God is great and if it’s His will, He will do it, but if not, I still have my hope firmly placed in Jesus.

The only promises that we have are what He promised as a whole to every nation. In Proverbs 14:34, we read, “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.” And in Psalm 46:10: Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth. He uses the same words that He used to calm the storm!! These verses keep me steady in Hope.
God has impressed upon me to be praying for Pastor’s throughout the world. He said we need unity and the church is fragmented. His peace does surpass all understanding!
I don’t understand getting weary. You can see God working and He never loses. Instead of getting weary join and support the ones that are taking a stand for God. God never loses, but He does expect us to do our part.

Good article, I did the same for a several months and included regular fasting and received a massive infilling of the holy spirit. Not speaking in tongues but a heavy abiding presence of tge Lord and as tge author states: “saturated with peace”.
i learned that it isnt “one and done” pursuing God one on one daily alone in the word and communicating with him has to become a lifestyle, other things try to creep in, just like a garden has to be weeded, we need to take a regular look at our lives and routines and see where distractions, laziness, apathy, worldliness and just the demands of life in general have set in as well as other sins that try to keep us from it. “New levels new devils” they say, and this became true. One has to become careful that their pursuit of God through disciplines does not become religious rituals. You will know if this happened if you begin to start pointing fingers or your minds gets drawn to become critical of others who are not disciplining themselves, disputes, envy, or pride are also indicators. The behavior of the phairsees is a good compass to look at to determine if we have veered off into religious ritual, if some of our behavior is like theirs we need to repent and return to our first love so that we can keep walking a life of truly loving him and others in spirit and truth, not religion.
For any who may be weary, I love this verse:
Jeremiah 31:25
For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished EVERY sorrowful soul.
“EVERY”…great reminder that you wont be denied. i am thankful and claim that verse often. We are running this race WITH Him, not alone, He is with us always, never leaving us, reminding myself of that often also helps.
A very encouraging article. I find that now that I am retired my days are spent in prayer, bible Study and reading and some Inter Net anointed teachings of God’s Word, praise and worship and just reflecting on the Lord. My days would look very boring to most, but they are so filled with peace and is joy, I don’t want anything else. I’m so thankful to be under the shelter of His wing and He is my God, who gives us renewed hope. ” For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what what we already has? but if we hope for what we do not yet have we wait patiently for it.” We wait for God’s work to unfold with patient enduring faith. For three things remain faith, hope and love….Praise His holy Name
Praise the Lord! The joy of the Lord is our strength.
I experience renewal and victories when I pray in the Spirit when I’m not sure how to pray otherwise. I have faith that God is turning our nation around since it was dedicated to Him and belongs to Him. Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. Realize how precious you are to Him. How much He loves you. We have all let Him down but He will never let us down. Thank You Father in Jesus Name for all you do for Your children and Your nation.

Part of the reason for our weariness is our conviction that the end is near. We have the hope of being raptured even as things have already gotten worse than we thought it would be before the Rapture. We wonder if there is a point to praying for our nation if God is readying the Tribulation soon. The day will come that the world will past the brink! But we must remember that decision and timing is in God’s hands and he may not be quite done with us yet. So we are without valid excuse and must keep fighting the good fight while we are here and able to do so. And keep on praying!
When I get discouraged with the decline of the world’s slavery to “the enemy, father of lies”, I read the Second Psalm. That to me that prophetid song is God’s answer to what is to come when Jesus, Who Is The Christ, returns to rule this world and set all things straight!
The early Christians of Jerusalem (re.: Acts Chspter 4, especially v. 23) remembered this psalm as well when the religious/political establishment of their day tried to “cancel and silence” Peter and John after healing a blind man. That attempted oppression made them stronger witnesses, and served to consolidate the unity of their church.
Throughout the age of the church, those who are truly reborn in spirit, and who place their first priority in service to our Lord God and to each other, are strengthened in faith and in Love (with a capital “L”). That Love is stronger than any temporal oppression. When we love by serving one another, we magnify our Lord.
We must remember not only with our intellect but with our hearts that The Lord God Almighty has already won the battle with the so-called prince of this world. As this article says, focusing on God’s Holy Word and spiritually listening to His Holy Spirit will get us through anything.
Meanwhile, I like to think we have not 10 commandments. but 12 commandments. We have the 10 commandments brought down the mountain to the Children of Israel by God’s servant, Moses (Exodus 20: 2-17 and Deuteronomy 5: 6-21). Jesus came not to destroy that Law, but to fulfill it, (Matthew 5: 17) and He did so with Love. The eleventh commaandment is to love each other as Jesus has loved us (John 13: 34). The twelfth commandment is the Great Commission, to fearlessly witness to those who have not yet had their eternal spirit reborn by the fire of God’s Holy Spirit (Matthew 28: 16-20). Go fishing for men.We must love our neighbor enough to present the only way to God, our Heavenly Father through the Lord Jesus, The Christ. “Go fishing, and let God clean them, I have heard it said. These last two instructions are not suggestions, they are the Lord God Almighty’s Commandments, just like the first ten! Praise God, He has promised to give us the power needed to fulfill whatever task, whatever difficulty we may face in this corrupted world.
If we do this, there will be no time to dwell on how badly the world around us is sliding further under the influence of our enemy, much less dwell long on how badly you feel. Even if we die, we win, because Jesus is our Lord, Priest, and the first to beat death with His resurrection.
Focus on that day when Jesus says to you and me, “Well done, you good and faithful servant”. Then go lay your crown of victory at his throne, for He made it possible to endure. Thank God for the honor of enduring, and doing His work of angels, for it will make you and me veterans in the cosmic war between good and evil.

I find that the more that I “saturate my mind & soul with all the things of God”, the less the things of this world bring me down. Think of a slow rain. How it saturates & nourishes the ground & that which comes forth from the earth.
Recently the state I live in has endured a long stretch (months) of drought with heat. I sensed, months ago – God telling me to be faithful to pray for rain – and specifically to ignore weather predictions. God’s goal, I believe, was to be teach me to be faithful irregardless of conditions or forecasts….and I sense He was saying be faithful “daily”. And thanks to God quiet promptings, that’s what I did. For months. We had a 3-4 days in that stretch where it rained. Not a lot but it was a rain rain. It blew through fast. My wife & I stood out in it, raised our hands & thanked / praised God for it. It wasn’t a lot but I don’t think God wanted us to be concerned with quantity – just to be faithful. But for the last month, I changed my prayers to greater “detail”. I asked God to send a long 24 hour soaking, gentle rain. Then I asked Him to have it “cycle” over our state (basically rain, stop for a while, circle & rain again). And it did just that. It cycled. I watched as dry, hardened & cracked soil had an opportunity to drink it in. The first cycle caused the cracks to disappear (a type of healing). The skies rested, the soil had ample opportunity to swell & soak in the first wave. A few hours later the next cycle started and the ground soaked in what it could. The rest ran gently off, starting to fill our ponds, rivers, lakes, feed some aquifers, etc. As I thought about my prayers, God working to teach me about faithfulness & patience, hope welled up inside of me. I was thankful for God’s lessons & His faithfulness to answer those prayers.
I believe, despite the deluge of evil, disappointment & compromise we see swirling around us…God says trust me. Listen to my voice. Pray faithfully, even when you don’t feel like it. Be obedient & have hope….in His mercy, His love & His unending faithfulness.

I pray we recognize weariness when it tries to overtake us and cut us off from the purposes of God. Getting in the Word, feasting on His words and in prayer, just quieting our souls to listen – then obey when He gives insight for direction. It is from the position of intimacy we experience His provision from Heaven that’s designed to bring us into a place of inner peace, hope and courage, to take up the baton and fight, not with swords and guns, but from our position of pray, and from there – do what He tells us for God’s kingdom to impact earth.

Beloved by Jordan Feliz is a long time worship fest, but Thank you for the Blood by Gayle something lifts me straight to His lap, much less His feet❣️ And most anything by King and Country….and Maverick City….Our God High Priest so understands our weariness, and I for one so praise and thank Him for His compassion, all His encouraging invitations to Come to Him when we are weary❤️🔥 the exhortations to keep our eyes, our focus on Him, on the eternal…trusting Him to be our strength in the temporal, to restore our souls…He doesn’t condemn us for being weary in our humanness in our sin soaked world. Even He knew and practiced wise boundaries, taking time with Poppa God, alone, especially after He started those final 3 years of ministry on the planet.
I known about David Wilkerson for over 30 yrs. He died 2011. His son Gary has taken the torch.

Paul tells us in Philippians, “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.” If I watch TV mainstream news, I am given lies, deceit, spin, approved narrative, opinions but not facts, misleading and/or incomplete information, one side of a story, a false story, propaganda meant to instill hatred, division or fear which enables me to be controlled more easily – all of this surely leads to hopelessness. But truth sets us free and gives us hope – God’s word is living, eternal truth – and His word says His Holy Spirit is truth and will lead us into all truth. (John 16:13) My hope is found in Christ alone and He is the same yesterday and today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) Like Peter walking on the water to Jesus, if I take my eyes off of Jesus and look at the circumstances that currently surround me, I will sink down into despair, I will drown. But when I fix my eyes on Jesus, I have this promise – “but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.” My Heavenly Father knows that I get weary, He “remembers that I am dust.” I take this encouragement from Galatians 6:9 – “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” We have no idea how close we are, I just have to keep on trusting and obeying, leaving the results to God. Focused on current circumstances, I have every reason to lose hope. Focused on God, on His word, which is eternal truth, I am filled to overflowing with hope because every promise in His word is true. He is a faithful God, even when I am unfaithful. He is the Vine, the source of everything I need to live every day for Him, including hope. He is the lifter of my head. Yes Barbara, very wise counsel, to guard our heart gates, to be wise about what we listen too, to test the spirits, be aware, discerning of the spirits, the source and bias of those we listen too, especially in these last days…then the events may still leave us in tearful prayers but our joy will be growing instead of being stolen.
His mercies are new every morning. May the praise of God be in our mouths and a double-edged sword in our hands. Psalm 149:6
Excellent words and strategy! Our only antidote to the poison spewed by our spiritual enemy is the Word of our Lord. We cannot depend on what the world shows us, speaks to us, or demonstrates. The book of Jeremiah has been my companion for several days and has been quite a blessing!
Jeremiah 33:3 says: “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things that you do not know. “

I’ve been BEGGING people for six months to join and support True the Vote. I might as well talk to my cat. I’ve talked to so many, sent so many emails, made endless phone calls, passed out business cards advertising ‘2000 Mules’ and True the Vote. People seem to be in some sort of strange trance. All I see are folks posting memes and complaining. But zero action. I’m tired – mostly from total discouragement not from the left, but from fellow patriots. So I say whatever happens to America now, we deserve due to our lack of being pro-active. God’s will be done.
Kim Potter is the name of the police officer who thought she was tasing a man but actually pulled her gun and shot him. Now she is in prison. I heard she has 10,000 notes of encouragement from people and has her husband saving them so at some time she is able to respond. Jesus, when we think we are at the end of all good you open doors deeper within us and You NEVER forsake us. Make us faithful like You, precious Jesus. May all the Kim’s (women and men) in prison arise and step into life in Jesus. May churches come in with a choir and have the men and women sing with them or better yet start a choir in the prisons we pray in Jesus’ name.
Wait…so this is the Kim Potter who, in spite of having many years of police work under her belt, couldn’t remember which was her pistol and which was her taser? A taser which has bright colors on it, and feels and is operated completely differently from a gun? Oh my gosh. She is right where she needs to be. So glad she is no longer serving as a police officer. She’s dangerous!
The quote: “ But hope never dies a natural death; it dies of betrayals, disappointments, losses, wounds.” might be accurate except where foretold events of scripture interrupt and portent predetermined events. Christians know at some point prophecy will shift briefly to enemy dominance. It seems this may be near. “And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.”
But certainly hope even in the great tribulation will be alive, I believe. It will be shifted to our eternal focus- heaven! “Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
We have a living hope in Christ knowing He always works everything for our good and His glory. Jesus reminds us we are to always pray ( day & night) & not lose heart. What I notice most about myself & other believers is we don’t know the word of God and consequently we do not pray according to the scriptures. I think IFA would do well to adhere to scriptures as well.

If I didn’t spend enough time daily with our Lord and his word, I know I would be lost! The times of family life in our world have changed so greatly, the lack of faith, the death of the family, the rise of unbelief in our Savior, I’m seeing it and hearing it everyday! Great article, Kim. I appreciate your honesty. I believe that we ALL experience hopelessness in these End Times. If we focus on the natural, we are going to lose hope, plain and simple. As long as we have Jesus, we have everything that we need. The Devil wants to steal, kill, and destroy. This is nothing new. He IS working overtime, knowing that his time is short. He is NOT winning. He only has the power that God allows him to have. We need to trust that God knows what He is doing, and let Him provide for ALL of our needs. Thank you, Jesus.
What a blessed reminder of the hope, strength and joy we have in the Lord. We fall prey to Satan’s lies when we don’t keep our minds fully focused on God. We are robbed of the supernatural peace that only comes from an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father.

I have read the article and the comments. I have experienced this weariness- and discovered the key to avoiding destruction: FOCUS!! When we lift our eyes from the King and the simple adoration of Him, we begin to fall/fail. It is our focus that changes the atmosphere. I am an intense person, a prophetic intercessor. When I began to feel this wane of hope, the Lord showed me I was shifting my lens: looking for evidence, checking dates, news, etc. and forgetting the EVIDENCE that is inherent in my own salvation!! He told me to stop the striving in prayer and study and lean back upon Him. And then the most surprising thing happened, I began to hear Him laugh!!! He laughed with such confidence- in response to what the enemy is attempting and promoting via media narratives! And I BEGAN TO LAUGH with Him!!! It was amazing and I won’t forget it!
Abba, I pray for my Brothers and Sisters- that Holy Spirit would arrest their attention and refocus it upon the face of Jesus. This battle is not up to us- it belongs to You. Our part is to believe simply as children of the Father. We are to TRUST and to REST. In this rest, we receive Your joy!!!! HELP us to remember that “GreatEST is He that is in us than he that is in the world”!!!! YOU have NO competition!!!!!!! In Jesus, the lion of the Tribe of Judah’s name I ask, AMEN.

This is exactly what I have been looking for! I have not read about Christians feeling weary or hope being lost concerning our nation. Between Nov. 2020 and Jan. 2021, I kept hoping and believing judges would look at the evidence of the fraudulent election. When the judges kept refusing kept to even look at the evidence, I cried out to the Lord. It was obvious what our nation was becoming. He has shown me twice that He is bringing justice. I keep reminding myself of this, but after almost 2 years of persecution of the Conservative party, I am getting weary. I know the key is drawing near to God and shutting out the other distractions. Thank you for the reminder.
When things get hard and your mind wanders. Just speak the name of Jesus over and over for as long as you need to. Then the evil one must leave and Peace will return.

I had a motorcycle wreck in1985 brain surgery not expected to live. He took me OBE and He Healed me. We walked out of Parkland in 45 days. Doctor wrote recovery as Miraculous. Oh yea I did not want to come back. Lost that conversation which was short. LOL

Thank you for this encouragement and confirmation. The Lord impressed this very thing on my heart two nights ago: do a 30 fast and prayer thing! So I am! I’m preparing a 30 fast and prayer time for the month of November. Prayer, Bible reading, worship, reading books, watching sermons and anything else He leads me to. Praise God. Lord I thank You because You never leave us or forsake us.
In this greatest exodus that we are enduring so many of us have been swept up by the throngs of other slaves who have heard that You are setting Your people free. Believing that You have come to set the captive free we rejoice. But we fail to appreciate Your timing and Your intercession against the oppressor. We gripe and complain that it is taking too long. We buckle under the load that our oppressor puts on us, the landmines he has placed in our paths and the fear he imposes on us daily.
I thank you for the Prophets and Your prophetic words that keep us on course to the promised land. Let us sing like Miriam did and dance like David did. Thank You for giving us the strength to confront our oppressors at school boards, county commission meetings, legislatures, and congress to let them know that we do not accept the decisions that are making for us.
At every meeting of civil discourse, these elected officials sit as if in a trance, determined to shackle us further. But You, Lord, have called us to shake those shackles off, to come into the wind of chaos and to say, “peace – be still!.” Navigating by Your word and Your presence, You comfort us in the storm. We are covered by Your blood while the enemy is drenched in the blood of the innocent and can never have enough. Your blood covers all but the enemy is never satiated. They have taken possession of the airwaves and spew half truths and lies day and night so I thank God that His word covers His people in comfort and peace, dividing wrong from right. This Word is our manna. Truth, the eagle and free speech are making a comeback and election integrity rises like a Phoenix. Let our Praises rise with it. Amen
Awesome word! This is exactly what I am doing to keep myself peaceful. There is nothing like having the presence and peace of the Holy Spirit activated in your life. Absolutely nothing else compares or will do in times like these. The Holy Spirit is a gift to us from God! Call on Him today and ask The Holy Spirit to help and comfort you and I promise you, He Will!!!

How true it is that we need to spend time daily in God’s Word and in prayer and thanksgiving! Early morning is best before the day begins, as we are then girded with the full armor of God (Ephesians Ch. 6). I do sympathize with a sense of weariness because of all the bad news, but all the more necessary for us to cling to Jesus for his amazing joy! I switch off the news often while still being aware of the headlines.
Our faith in Jesus is such a precious gift! Let us persevere, as He is King of kings still and always will be.
CHRIST alone is my Hope! As long as I have HIM, no matter what goes on around me, I have Hope! My Bible keeps me reminded just Who created all things, and Who holds all things, including me and my family, in HIS Hands! The song by Zach Williams and Dolly Partin, “There was JESUS!” says it all! I worship my LORD in good and bad times! HE saved my mom and dad and my brother, all of whom is already in Heaven! HE has saved the rest of my brothers and sisters, my children and grandchildren, all of my cousins, and most of my friends! (HE is still working on the rest of my friends!) You see, all of my Hope is in CHRIST JESUS alone! “Thank GOD all of my sins are forgiven! I’ve been washed in HIS Blood!” Thank YOU FATHER GOD for salvation for me and my “house” and those we pray for! Please protect America and Americans from satan and all of his demons! This last week I have felt a strong attack against leaders of the church in the capital district of New Your. It is coming on all fronts., physical health, emotional well.being and spiritually. I even felt in my spirit some saying”it is easier to die then fight” The Spirit of the Lord rise up in me to fight and declare Lord give them the will to want to , to want to fight, to want to live. Indeed Father. We are Sons of glory not prayer warriors. You dwell in us and we in you. Very grateful for this.
There is one mention in the Bible where it says that the Saints have been worn out!
God sees us and He knows us, and that we become weary and worn out when we have been in such a long battle. It is like a see, saw effect. We gain ground, we then loose ground.
God told us that there would be trials and to not think it was strange because if we did not give up our hope and trust in Him, that He would bring us through these fires and brought out the other side, purer than gold.
We, many of us are weary, me included, but then the Holy Spirit when we sink ourselves back into Him, will give us the refreshing,the renewal in our faith, and hope, and cause us to rise up! With wings of and eagle.
Satan has used his people and is driving them into the ground. He hates his children and when he has used them up, he will destroy them.
We have and serve a living, and loving, and compassionate God who lifts us up when we fall Down , who hugs us when we are disheartened and who gives strength to the weary when we are bereft.
Our God brings hope to a failing world and our God still does miracles, and He still is able to deliver us from the onslaught of Satan and his army,
Let us not cast away our confidence because if we hold the line steady and don’t give in, or up! Our God is going to bring us out the other side bright and shining like gold.
God said to press forward in order to claim the reward for the cause of the higher purpose, calling.
God also commanded us to love one another and to put on mercy, He told us to encourage one another much, and often. So, be encouraged brother’s and sister’s. We may have what look like setbacks and we may see things we have prayed for going sideways, but remember. God is timeless and all powerful and delights in doing the impossible.
We WIN. No matter what we see and hear. For God said, we walk by faith and not by what we see because what we see is going to change.
Father You are sovereign and You are good. Lord You know the beginning from the end and Your Word is true. We can stand on the promises of Your Word and know that You stand with us- Your Body. Lord we need a fresh anointing from Your Spirit. Please meet us here God and sustain us. Just as You did for Joseph and Nehemiah strengthen us and help us to stand firm no matter the challenges we face. Just as You did for Paul help us to find Your joy as our strength when the darkness seems long. And just as You did for Hannah hear our prayer Lord! You are here God and You have called us to this moment in time to intercede and so we ask for Your help and Your strength to help us stand. And we thank You Lord for revival is coming! I’m getting more understanding of what I was told many years back; Discouragement, and lack of hope are the great weapons of our enemy, and Satan, being the Great Liar and slanderer loves using it against all humanity but mainly Believers in Christ! Like David crying out to God in Psalm 27, “I would have lost heart (hope) unless I believed I’d see the goodness of God in the land of the living!” We, God’s children, can become or are like like those sheep who fall over, literally “cast down,” (a shepherding term) as David wrote in Psalm 42 and only their Shepherd can get them back up as they are helpless to help themselves!
What a Beautiful picture of our Good Shepherd! He sees the enemy attacking His Sheep and He sees our distresses and hears us when we turn to and cry out for Him. He comes to pick us up, to cleanse, and carry. And then as Kim wrote He wants us to take shelter (alone time with Him.). That is when He can comfort us beside still waters,( just as sheep get scared and distracted by running water, we need to tune out the world’s distractions) and just be still with Him! Our Good Shepherd never tires of rescuing His Sheep! David as a Shepherd had to spend much time alone and he observed creation, and listened for, got to know, and Praised his trustworthy God! He learned patience, how to care and comfort his flock, which was a non-stop 24/7 job, and how to use his what he had or found to defend them and himself!
David needed every lesson as he waited and suffered for years, even after being annointed as King! David’s heart grew in affection toward God and for his nation and those he would be called to rescue and care for, Israel! God would Bless what David endured in a way we can only imagine when reading his Psalms! May it be said that like David, we were a people after Gods heart! So, let us cry out (turn repent for ourselves and nations) together, learning to know even more of our wonderful Father, Yeshua His Son, and Holy Spirit during a very difficult time in our nation. May we continually comfort one another and Praise God for His saving and delivering us and our nation! Maybe we are being prepared for something Unbelievably Wonderful!
I had a very eye opening experience yesterday driving with my wife to Arcadia, La. We had gone to the Raeford plant to take advantage of a sale we’d heard about while fellowshipping at church. Forty lb crates of boneesss skinless chicken were to be sold (1st come 1st serve) at a vacant mall there. That’s only slightly above a buck a pound. We went and we went EARLY, almost 3 hours early. To our shock the off ramp and the entry road to the mall were already bumper to bumper. We inched forward for hours as four reefer trailers at the ‘ghost town’ that was once a mall were emptied car by car, person by person, cash only. There were police everywhere to help with traffic and crowd control. We were very grateful for that. It was a mess and many many were going to be empty handed when it was over. At any rate we bought two boxes and inched our way out to the main highway while we twisted and turned street by street. The line was over a MILE long. People were standing on the service road across the interstate totally shocked and curious at the sight. People are so scared of shortages and anxious to save a few pennies it created such a sight. It has bothered me ever since that people will mob for cheap chicken and our churches are near EMPTY.

It is true. The more of the world we “allow” in us effects us very negatively. If we are not careful, we will start thinking and acting just like the world before we even realize it.
I’m in a season (maybe permanent) of no TV, no social media. I may have to add news as well because of the way it negatively impacts me. I’ve been pressing into Him……worship, the word, lots of prayer and communing with Him all day on all levels. (Even at work. Consider “Fiddler on the Roof”, talking to God all day) Reverently, humbling myself, quiet, friendship. It has radically change me. We’ve allowed, tolerated too much of the world to impact us instead of us impacting the world. We still have time to make a difference; we just have to be “all in”.
God is blessing His Church!!! May He find faith when He returns!!! 🙏❤️

I make sure I stay close to the Body of Christ–prayer group, small group Bible study with women who love God, Christian TV, a little conservative talk radio, enjoy the neighbors & Christian friends, keep the family close. We are impatient. God will do what He said but in His timing. His timing is perfect so quit seeing with your eyes and ask Gid to allow you to see with His eyes look how long the book of Revelations was prophesied and it is begining to come to pass. Thank Him for what He is doing and going to do. He is not a man that He should lie.

They will come at you from one direction but flee from you in seven.” Father God we thank you for these words as we allow these words to speak for us, I believe the Enemies will be defeated if we take our place before you and claim these words to have Victory if we follow His (Gods) commands and decrees. Yes, there is Victory in the name of Jesus, it is ours to command out loud so Satan will hear our voices letting him know we will follow and serve God and will not be defeated, because Jesus blood 🩸 paid it all. We will rise up as Warriors telling the Enemy, ( leftist, communist party Enough, is Enough) we have God back with us in our playing Field. Father God, Help us through our weariness. Lord help us to keep our eyes focused on who you are and how you want to use us. Unshakable Faith

1I stand silently to listen for the one I love,
waiting as long as it takes for the Lord to rescue me.

I just read this Psalm and thought it applied to what we are talking about!!
We REALLY need to stay in Paul (Romans- Philemon) the promises revealed to Paul from the accended LORD Jesus Christ to our Apostle to us gentiles, is the MEAT of the Word we need today as members of the Body of Christ. The Milk of the Word is GREAT but we can’t stay on the milk bottle,we have to grow into the meat and potatoes.
I thank God for His presence! I would not have been able to endure years of intercession, watching as many times things looked worse, without the presence of Jesus. We must manintain a love life with Jesus, and a trust in His Word. Things may look bad in the natural, but we must maintain a supernatural life, just like you said. Thankfully Jesus taught me how to pray in tongues while I do most anything. I thank Him that He gave us the Holy Spirit!! Lord, thank you that you are real! You can be felt, touched, and known.
