FBI Director Christopher Wray announced he will officially resign from his post effective at the end of the Biden administration.

At a recent Town Hall meeting with FBI employees, Wray shared, “After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the Bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current Administration in January and then step down. My goal is to keep the focus on our mission – the indispensable work you’re doing on behalf of the American people every day. In my view, this is the best way to avoid dragging the Bureau deeper into the fray, while reinforcing the values and principles that are so important to how we do our work.”

Recently, Senator Chuck Grassley called for the resignation of FBI Director Wray, citing he believes “Christopher Wray has failed his “fundamental duties” as FBI director in a blistering letter expressing “no confidence” in Wray’s continued leadership over the agency.

From Fox News: Grassley’s lengthy letter to Wray, which spans 11 pages, detailed specific examples of Wray’s “failures” as FBI director, which Grassley said “shattered my confidence in your leadership and the confidence and hope many others in Congress placed in you.” The Iowa senator previously argued that Wray has “failed” as FBI director in a social media message posted one day after Trump nominated Patel as FBI chief.

What will happen when Director Wray officially steps down? Deputy Director Paul Abbate will become acting director when Wray steps down, until a new director — Kash Patel if confirmed — is in place.  Abbate has also been called to resign. Abbate will stay only until the confirmation of Patel, who was on Capitol Hill this week meeting with lawmakers. Concerns have arisen as to the preservation of evidence and records at the FBI, as the FBI has been at the heart of weaponizing the agency against the American people.

From LiveAction: Congressman Chip Roy (R-Texas) sent a letter to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland demanding that the Department of Justice (DOJ) leave the records and files pertaining to the prosecution of pro-life activists when the Biden-Harris administration leaves office.

In the letter, Roy accused the DOJ of weaponizing the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act to persecute pro-life Americans. “Serious questions remain about the disparity in prosecutions between Americans supporting life and the perpetrators of violent attacks on pregnancy resource centers and houses of worship that occurred in the wake of the leak of the draft Supreme Court opinion in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization,” Roy wrote, pointing out that Wray admitted during testimony before the Senate Homeland Security Committee that 70% of violence was being committed by pro-abortion activists against the pro-life movement.

This is a start. Lord Jesus, please make a way for the Trump administration to replace these worthless, incompetent bureaucrats with people who truly care about the future of our nation and want to perform their duties professionally and properly. Thank you, Lord for what you are doing, and will continue to do.

This allowing the persecution of righteous people is deplorable. However, it should be expected because of 2 Tim 3:12. This is actually a promise (even though we don’t like to think about it). Therefore, it SHOULD be that those in Christ should be BEST during suffering. Please work on this and the Lord will be pleased.

The letters written by Grassley and Roy are to be applauded. However, what power do we have to enforce compliance? The FBI has operated in a gestapo manner during this administration and was used , not only against Trump and his supporters , but against everyday citizens trying to uphold decency and Gods law. Thou shall not kill. . It was appalling to witness. Our forefathers would have been sickened by it., if they could have witnessed what went on during this past four years. God help restore sanity to our nation. We pray for revival. We pray for godly servants to be put in place. We pray for the wisdom of Solomon to be imbued in the thinking of our new administration. In Jesus name, AMEN.
