I Prayed have prayed
Lord, let our hearts crave more of You with each day. We proclaim that You are our wonderful and merciful Savior.
Reading Time: < 1 minute
Lyrics:
Wonderful, merciful Savior
Precious Redeemer and Friend
Who would have thought that a Lamb
Could rescue the souls of men
Oh you rescue the souls of men
Counselor, Comforter, Keeper
Spirit we long to embrace
You offer hope when our hearts have
Hopelessly lost our way
Oh, we’ve hopelessly lost the way
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for
Almighty, infinite Father
Faithfully loving Your own
Here in our weakness You find us
Falling before Your throne
Oh, we’re falling before Your throne
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for
You are the One that we praise
You are the One we adore
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for

Please read again … Here in our weakness You find us
falling before Your throne
Oh, we’re falling before Your throne
You give the healing and grace
Our hearts always hunger for
Oh, our hearts always hunger for…
Yes, the Lord asks us for humble, repenting hearts.
May the Lord open eyes to the beauty of this song of praise to HIM.

Thank you for this! I so appreciate the inclusion of worship and praise amidst the disturbing things that need to be brought to our attention. It’s the balance I need in these troubling times. Please continue to include in every issue!

I love this song/lyrics…and I especially love the line…
”who would have thought that a lamb would save the souls of men”…I get a tear each time, why?… because therein is the reminder of our salvation and redemption. Thank you Jesus… for by your cross and shed blood (when received) You take away the sins of the world. Amen

Beautiful hymn of worship. I thank God who inspired it and Dawn who wrote it.

In this hymn that is used as a prayer/praise, I see no actual act of repentance on our part; nor it stated; that as Believers in Christ that we are repenting for our sinful ways and asking Our Father to forgive us and then to allow us to be restored to and reuniting us to a position of loving Him first in our lives over everything and anything else in Jesus’ Name Amen!

Prayerfully read again “ who would have thought that a lamb would save the souls of men”…. the implication being that in praise and worship with that lyric lies the
recognition that repentance and salvation have taken place; thus, thank You Lord!

Good Morning Connie, May God continue to bless us all to keep a repentant heart daily: so that our worship and praise will be accepted by Him as He continues to cleanse us daily for offences we may have committed knowingly or unknowingly! Have a beautiful and peaceful day my sister in Jesus’ Name Amen!❤
