I Prayed have prayed
Lord, draw the people of this nation back to You. We ask for forgiveness for turning from You and pray for revival in our nation.

Responding to President Trump wishing attendees at a Georgia rally a “Merry Christmas” and reminding them he had stated years ago that Americans would again use the phrase proudly despite those who would “try to take that word out of the vocabulary,” Michigan Democrat Attorney General Dana Nessel issued a tweet (later deleted) in which she claimed her son had been “devastated” when an employee at a store wished them a “Merry Christmas.”

Nessel tweeted that after her son asked her if they were the only Americans who didn’t celebrate Christmas, she told him, “No, and we are just as American as everyone else.” She then insinuated that President Trump was unaware of such diversity by adding, “Glad @JoeBiden knows that.” . . .

Her tweet linked to Trump’s rally in Georgia on Saturday. The video in the tweet shows Trump saying:

Let me begin by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. Remember the word? Remember we started five years ago and I said “You’re going to be saying Christmas again,” and we say it proudly again although they’ll be trying to take that word again out of the vocabulary. We’re not going to let them do that.

Nessel later issued another tweet, writing, “Saying ‘Happy Holidays’ this time of year does not denigrate Christianity. It simply acknowledges and respects the great diversity of our nation and includes each and everyone of us who call ourselves proud Americans.” . . .

Nessel’s deleted tweet triggered some blowback on social media. . . .

In August, Nessel reportedly compared President Trump to Adolf Hitler, prompting the chairman of the Michigan Republican Party to denounce her, as The Daily Wire reported:

According to Gongwer reporter Jordyn Hermani, Nessel not only compared Trump to Hitler during the virtual 2020 State Nominating Convention of the Michigan Democratic Party on Aug. 29 but even jokingly suggested that the murderous dictator was more virtuous because he was “brave enough” to fight for his country in World War I.

“AG Dana Nessel kicking off her Democratic Nominating Convention by comparing President Trump to Adolf Hitler, before joking: ‘Hitler, by all accounts, could read and write … and he also was brave enough to serve in his nation’s military,’” Hermani tweeted. “Adds that people should be concerned Republican state leaders are backing Trump, who has in recent weeks joked that he might not leave office if not reelected.”

“For context, re: Hitler — Her lead up to the statement was that neither had received the popular vote and yet still took office, denigrates immigrants, seeks to destroy unions, degrades those who disagree with them, etc. and then said she wasn’t talking about Trump but Hitler,” Hermani added. …

When reached for comment, Nessel’s communications director Kelly Rossman-McKinney doubled down on her comparison, telling The Daily Wire, “AG Nessel is passionate about this election and deeply concerned about the direction of our country under the current president.”

“The president’s actions — with the addition of the pomp and circumstance at the White House last week — was reminiscent of a certain historical figure and she chose to point that out after doing an extensive, careful and accurate historical comparison that resulted in a very long list of similarities. People deserve to know who they are voting for,” she added.

Whether Dana Nessel will acknowledge the name of Christ, or not, one day she will. She will bow her knee and say the name of Jesus with her tongue, as we all will. Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess.

Philippians 2:9-11

9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Romans 14:11 “For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.”
Christ is Christmas
MERRY CHRISTMAS

We should not be unaware of the schemes and devices of satan. Christain celebrations are being watered down into secular holidays with such excuses as diversity. This deception is also fueled by the media. Even many christains buy into the lies.
Father we pray for wisdom and discernment. We pray that our spiritual eyes be open to truly see and understand. We rebuke satan and every satanic agenda to remove our eyes off Jesus at Christmas. Help us to teach our children rightly rather than use them as tools for our own agenda. We thank You so much for Jesus. And Jesus we celebrate You during this season and forever, Amen.

Lola, possibly Dana has spoken her harsh judgements about Christ to her son, thus passing it on to his vulnerable mind to think the same because he has no basis to decifer for himself what is good or not? But, I am reminded how we must be careful to not speak, slander or gossip when we have ears around that are vulnerable to think and mimic those they may be looking to for a pattern to follow. Lord may we believers look to you, your example to follow, not others opinions, or even our own, to check with You about them. This is not easy and we are hopefully always learning how to all our days, forgive me when I have failed..like probably everyday? Luv to you all and Merry Christmas!

My suggestion to AG Nessel is if you have such a hard time around Christmas, perhaps move to a nation that you would be more “comfortable” in. I would like to suggest North Korea or China if you are so offended by Christmas. Oh just a reminder – roughly 90% of Americans enjoy the Christmas season. Since AG Nessel was probably a user of common core math, let’s help her. 90% means almost the entire USA – you know that is commonly called “the majority”.
Nessel is just another excellent example of why it is critical and not optional for Christians and those who believe in the real Constitution of the United States to “always be involved in the political process”. She is a primary example of what happens when godless thinking occupies an important position that makes legal decisions based on their own “biased belief system”. (Look at MN A.G. Ellison as another example).
This needs to serve as a warning to Christians – wake up. Get involved in more ways than just voting. There are certain people who want to overturn this nation into a godless empty vacuum where mankind makes all decisions based on their own polluted and misguided intellect.
Lord we pray she will find You some way and somehow. We pray for her salvation. But we also pray for her removal from the position she holds and that You would replace her with someone who honors You Lord and your word. In Jesus name we pray amen.

I would like to ask AG Nessel how she and her son feel when they walk into stores, restaurants, malls, lobbies of various public places, people’s homes, not to mention just driving along streets, and seeing displays of everything Christmas, including Nativity Scenes. The devastation must almost send them to the emergency room!

Doesn’t America give each of us, in our diverse ways, the freedom to give — and receive — greetings, well wishes, blessings, thoughts of happiness… to/ from others on days that are special to us / them / anyone?

Lord, remind us to always be a reflection of Your love and death on the cross, for everyone.

Thou shall Not tempt the Lord thy God but by every word from thy mouth acknowledge Him.

Thou shalt have no other gods before Me.

We do not live by bread alone but by every WORD that proceeds from the Father’s mouth.

Lo, Daniel, have I not kept your foot from stumbling these many years?

Do I not see a Fourth figure in the furnace?

And they emerged and not a single thread of their garment was singed nor did they smell of fire or smoke.

Merry Christmas from the Intercessors.

Dear Heavenly Father, what evil madness is this that has taken root in our land? It saddens me that we live in a time when a joyful expression like Merry Christmas is seen as an aggression. I am reminded of Isaiah 5:20; “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.” Lord, please remove the deceivers from our midst, and scatter their darkness with the light of Your truth. Lift the blinders from the eyes of the deceived, and give all good people in our land the strength, courage, wisdom, and clarity to do our part in this struggle. Lord, please grant confidence, good cheer, and vigor to those who have grown weary from the constant barrage of spiritual, mental, legal, political, and ideological evil we have all faced in these dark times. Let us spread a message of joy and love in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. A Merry Christmas to all who will receive it. In Jesus precious name I pray, Amen!
