The Wisconsin Supreme Court overturned a previous ruling, allowing ballot drop boxes ahead of November. How will this affect the election?
From The Wall Street Journal. Wisconsin voters can once again use absentee-ballot drop boxes to deliver their votes after the state supreme court on Friday reinstated their use, overturning its own 2022 ban.

In a 4-3 ruling issued July 5, the court’s majority said state law allows the use of secure drop boxes as an alternative to returning absentee ballots to a clerk’s office or by mail.
“Our decision today does not force or require that any municipal clerks use drop boxes,” the majority wrote.
“The statute does not specify a location to which a ballot must be returned and requires only that the ballot be delivered to a location the municipal clerk, within his or her discretion, designates,” it wrote. …
Absentee and by-mail ballots have become a political dividing line in recent years. Wisconsin is expected to be a battleground state in the November presidential contest. The court’s ruling resetting requirements for absentee voting comes just over a month before Wisconsin’s coming Aug. 13 partisan primary.
Many states expanded the use of ballot drop boxes during the 2020 elections amid the Covid pandemic, prompting a backlash from then-President Donald Trump and other Republicans who questioned the security of drop boxes. …
A lengthy dissent penned by Justice Rebecca Grassl Bradley, supported by two other justices, argued Friday’s ruling was made for political reasons, not analysis of the law.
“The majority ends the term by loosening the legislature’s regulations governing the privilege of absentee voting in the hopes of tipping the scales in future elections,” Bradley wrote. …

they are a joke! An excellent way to “stuff” ballots into dishonest counts.
In my opinion, there are no secure drop boxes. This should be against the law. Can they be monitored 24/7?
I believe these illegal drop boxes are being brought back into our elections for political reasons. As a result, I’m afraid this will encourage illegal immigrants to vote along with illegal ballot harvesting. I pray this will not go through.
What a travesty. It only invites cheating and fraud. Wisconsin Supreme court I’m assuming is filled with liberal justices. Not good news for the honest residents of that state.
In Jesus’s Mighty Name we decree ballot boxes shall not be used for illegal ballot harvesting to undermine the 2020 elections and twist the final count. Amen!
Lord, help us fight for election integrity! Drop boxes, mail -in voting, and allowing non-citizens rights to vote in American elections are recipes for election fraud, disaster, and tyranny. As said by mass murderer Joseph Stalin, counting the votes is also of primary importance. Federal elections should follow the bipartisan Baker Carter Election rules of past decades, or US law, US rules and ballot boxes become those of a Banana “Republic”. The great American statesman, black Frederick Douglass advocated for the campaign box, ballot box, then the cartridge box for freedom fighters >100 years ago. Lord, hear our prayer. Give us wisdom, grace, strength, and courage to do Your will, not to allow Satan and evil to crush our US Constitution.

Allowing drop boxes again is despicable! This is just setting up opportunities to cheat again.
Voter fraud to the fullest, proven in the last election. There should not be drop boxes. What is wrong with these people, they really need God back in their lives and protect their souls.
I think that someone should think about putting firecrackers with long fuses into a ballot envelope, and do like the dems do make deposits in multiple drop boxes. Maybe are a few smoldering incidents they will realize that the only way – the best way is voting in one day, ID required, at a desisignated poling station.
I think that the Voters who want to have a fair race get a sign up list and have people at each voting box 24/7 to make sure NO nonsense goes on. It is sad that we are in a time that people will do wrong things to fit their agenda. And lots of prayers!!!!

Perhaps it is the time now to re-examine the backgrounds and party affiliations of those “Judges” who insist on making fraudulent “voting” virtually mandatory – with a view to curtailing their nefarious activities !
Elections must – not just “may” – be seen to be absolutely fair , honest, and lawful. Changing the “Law” to accommodate fraud is FRAUDULENT itself !

I’m with Kathy Young’s comments….unattended ballot drop boxes are a way for much fraud.
I worry that ballots will be cast without actually the voter requesting a ballot. I would feel much better if I knew that each ballot sent out was requested by the voter. When I vote, I have to show my driver’s license with my picute on it. Who is really affirming that the absentee ballot is actually going to a registered voter? Voting is a privilege and I’m afraid I can no longer trust what is happening with this type of voting. Too much time to steal votes.
I think drop boxes are fraudulent, not secure and a way The Democrats have to cheat. I do not believe in them. People need to go to the polls or physically take their vote to county clerk.

If we actually care about our elections, the security of our elections must be of the upmost protection. There is plenty of evidence from 2020 that multiple people dumping multiple ballots of questionable origin. Did the envelopes have a verifiable signature? Did these individuals live at the addresses given. Who collected these ballots and were they being paid? Just some of the questions. I feel that every eligible voter should vote by going to their precinct, showing a valid ID, given a paper ballot that can be tabulated by a machine but can also be recounted. Hiding evidence of voter malpractice only leads to things like J6. I live in a fairly large city, this is how it is done. Many times I have gone to vote and there would be 150-200 people in front of me and I was never there more than 20-30 minutes. If you care about our elections, vote for people that will insure the integrity of them.
They say for political reasons. How true. Yes it’s a disgrace to democracy . So any non CITIZEN can throw in a vote . We know how this goes. One party will do anything for power.

While there is still a little time before the actual election, I hope someone will put this on appeal or otherwise bring it up in courts and it will be overturned. This is dangerous as it allowed people to pay others to stuff the boxes etc. All voting for such an important election should have to be done in person (even if clerks had to take days to go to nursing homes or hospitals etc) so votes could be to verified by state id or drivers licenses that the person is a citizen, is who they proclaim to be, and that their vote was submitted personally to the representative or collection machine. Any other way allows too much opportunity for illegals to vote, or for people to be paid for their votes or people to vote numerous times etc.
This election is too important to America for it to be done haphazardly and willy nilly. We have got to take back our nation and once again be One Nation Under GOD!
Dear Father we need your help. I trust you Father and know that you have a plan. Please effect changes that will ensure this election goes according to YOUR WILL. We need to see transparency and honesty. I know you are a righteous and fair God and that nothing is too great for you to accomplish. I stand on your Son’s words in Luke 8:17 and Luke 12:2 and 3 That nothing done in secret will not be brought to light and that even things whispered in secret in a closet will be shouted from the housetops. We need to see this happen in America especially for this election. I stand on your word and know you know what we have need of even before we ask. Thank you Father for every blessing, every answered prayer and everything you have already done in our behalf. We exalt you! You alone are worthy to be PRAISED! In the Mighty name of Jesus we pray. The objective of the “Drop Boxes” is to facilitate FRAUDULENT election results in favour of ONE political party – and we all know who that party is – don’t we ? !!!
What is the point of insisting that those who vote – in person – at a polling station manned by election staff – will ONLY be “Allowed to Vote” upon production of certain agreed photo-I.D. – when those who vote unseen and without any form of supervision can do so with complete anonymity , and seemingly as frequently as they wish ? !!
The point is partisan FRAUD ENABLEMENT ! It MUST be STOPPED !
