Will the SCOTUS Stop the TikTok Ban?
The Supreme Court may decide this week to spare TikTok from its looming ban. Meanwhile, people are flocking to replacement apps — one Chinese and one operated by TikTok’s parent company — that seem just as dangerous.

Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson seemed to support upholding the law.
“TikTok can continue to operate as long as it is not associated with ByteDance,” she said.
Chief Justice John Roberts said, “Are we supposed to ignore the fact that the ultimate parent is, in fact, subject to doing intelligence work for the Chinese government?” …

What Is RedNote?
RedNote, also known as Xiaohongshu, which translates to “little red book,” is often compared to TikTok due to its focus on short-form video content. RedNote also integrates elements similar to Pinterest, providing users with a mix of video and livestreaming features. The platform allows users to share product reviews, experiences, and lifestyle content, creating a blend of social interaction and online shopping.
Launched in 2013, RedNote has rapidly grown to become one of China’s fastest-growing social platforms, valued at over $3 billion. It enables users to discover, research and purchase products directly through the app.

Lord we pray for security and safety not only from the Chinese government but also from our own corrupt government. We pray that you woukd not allow Tik Tok to fall into the hands of any evil people including Americans who would like to censor us. I believe this may be another attempt of the far left to control the narrative that gets out to the American people. We pray that our freedoms given by YOU would be upheld, in Jesus name!
Nicole, I agree! I’m so old-school in some ways, that a roll-back to a far less technology-dependent world would be welcomed by me. But realistically I do enjoy some of it’s benefits. May the Lord protect us from it’s dangers, as we entrust this situation to Him!
