In the wake of one of the most tumultuous election seasons in our nation’s history, many Democrats and even some Republicans plan to spend “less time with certain family members” over politics.
From Breitbart. Democrat voters are more likely than Republicans to cut down on time spent with family members due to political differences, a post-election survey showed as the holidays ramp up.

The Public Religion Research Institute’s (PRRI) survey posted on December 13 found that “As the holidays approach … Democratic voters (23%) are nearly five times as likely as Republican voters (5%) to say they will be spending less time with certain family members because of their political views.”
PRRI President and Founder Robert P. Jones told Axios, “It may be tense around the Hanukkah and Christmas table. It’s not just that we’re disagreeing about abortion or we’re disagreeing about taxes or even immigration… but we’re disagreeing about a fundamental worldview and about identity.” …
The PRRI survey noted:
The survey was conducted among a representative sample of 5,772 adults (age 18 and up) living in all 50 states in the United States, who are part of Ipsos’s KnowledgePanel. Interviews were conducted online between November 8 and December 2, 2024. The margin of error for the full sample is +/- 1.72 percentage points at the 95% level of confidence. …

Even though even one of my sons is
a democrat we discuss differences, but our love is never decreased. I know that He even disagrees with his party on some issues. He once told me that Biden himself would have to come personally to him to remove his guns. I did not allow any guns in my house, so his feelings about his guns wasn’t taught in our house. I celebrate our differences even when they are not what I want.
I would not be surprised if the number is higher among those who call themselves democrats. I have personally witnessed their almost hatred of republican candidates while completely ignoring the vises and lies told by democratic candidates. I trust in God and will let God’s truth do my talking. After all God’s truth is all that matters.

Pray for my eldest son. At 40 years of age, he is triggered by the liberal diatribe associated with the election outcome. He has decided to distance himself, and blame and falsely accuse me for things beyond my control. He lives a gay lifestyle and attacks me for being a Christian conservative. He has decided to cut me out of his life, once again, because of the evil media influences and dialogue that groomed him into believing he is gay. He attacks me and tries to gaslight me with made up delusional “memories” of his childhood, to prove his Christian mother is a bad person. I believe his use of marijuana gummies and alcohol are problematic in his quest for healing from childhood trauma, and his alcoholic father’s adulterous escapades, and lies.
