Many are criticizing the Trump administration for claiming it will “aggressively” revoke visas of Chinese students. But did you know that many of these Chinese students have been involved in criminal cases on behalf of the CCP?
Pray for your fellow intercessor.
The Epoch Times details the risk these students pose to America:
A total of 277,398 students from China were enrolled U.S. entities in the 2023ā24 academic year, according to a collaborative report from the State Department and the Institute of International Education.
The FBI warned in a 2019 bulletin that the CCP exploits the openness of the U.S. academic environment to conduct economic espionage to advance its own scientific, economic, and military goals.
While the vast majority of Chinese students and researchers are in the United States for legitimate academic reasons, the FBI said, the CCP uses some Chinese students, particularly post-graduate students and post-doctorate researchers studying science, engineering, and mathematics, to āoperate as non-traditional collectors of intellectual property.ā
According to Chinaās state-run media Xinhua, of the more than 99 million members of the communist party, nearly 2.8 million were students, as of the end of 2023.
The Times even lists specific examples of Chinese students who have committed crimes in America. Many of these students have been caught targeting U.S. military installations, stealing secrets, harassing Chinese democracy activists, spying on behalf of the CCP, and smuggling things into America. The Times lists a few of the most notable examples:
Earlier this month, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) removed Chinese national Shi Fengyun, who was convicted of using a drone to photograph a naval shipyard in Virginia. The Newport News Shipbuilding facility is known for building nuclear submarines and next-generation Gerald R. Ford-class aircraft carriers.

In 2020, the FBI initiated an investigation into Guan Lei, a visiting researcher at the University of California, Los Angeles, who was in the United States on a J-1 visa. Guan was suspected of transferring āsensitive U.S. software or technical dataā to Chinaās National University of Defense Technology, according to prosecutors.

n 2021, ProPublica published a story about Kong Zhihao, a graduate student at Purdue University who was harassed and threatened by other students from China for posting an open letter āpraising the heroism of the students killed in the Tiananmen Square massacre in 1989.ā

Christine Fang, or Fang Fang, was enrolled as a student at California State UniversityāEast Bay from 2011 to 2015, according to a 2020 investigative Axios report. During that time, she was allegedly tasked with networking with and befriending up-and-coming U.S. officials on behalf of communist China.

Jianhua āJeffā Li, a Chinese national living in the United States on a student visa, was sentenced in 2019 to 37 months in prison for smuggling counterfeit Apple products from China to the United States.
Allegedly, the Times highlights many Chinese students who lied on their visa applications, hiding their enlistment in the Chinese military. All of this gives context to Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s decision to revoke visas of many Chinese students, as reported by the New York Times:
Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced on Wednesday evening that the Trump administration would work to āaggressively revokeā visas of Chinese students, including those with ties to the Chinese Communist Party or who are studying in ācritical fields.ā
He added that the State Department was revising visa criteria to āenhance scrutinyā of all future applications from China, including Hong Kong.
While the New York Times is critical of this decision, it’s plain to see why Secretary Rubio is taking such drastic measures. As IFA has covered previously, China sees itself as being at war with America. Let’s pray that this decision keeps American intelligence out of the hands of the Chinese Communist Party!

Lord, Please confront all the foreign students currently in the US with the gospel of Jesus and their need for a Savior. Motivate us as the church to reach out to and evangelize those who have no knowledge of your love, truth and forgiveness. Let each one be sent back to their homeland with a transformed heart that will bring the light into the dark, unreached areas of this world.
Grateful for Rubioās hard work and diligence to protect our intellectual resource; praying God will continue to provide wisdom and discernment to him and his team.
Thank you for sharing the information on how many students were able to attend University here in America. So grateful that Senator Marco Rubio is taking care of the issue at hand.

Father, we thank You for protecting us from those who wish us harm. We pray that You would keep American secrets out of the hands of the CCP.
Lord, we as Christian should be the light in these dark places. The CCP are so bold to come to our nation and use Chinese students to do their bidding. May their hearts turn to Christ and if not return them to their home countries. Protect and give Sec. Rubio your favor in this matter. In Jesus’ name.
What I like about Mario Rubio he is the strongest Sec of State that we have ever had and has same steal back bone as President Trump. Wish more of the cabinet members were like him. Business is not as usual this is a New Era. Biden/Obama left us a Big Mess and everyone that voted for Trump need to be patient and pray yes pray that God has a mandate and he gave President Trump his mandate and with our support and prayer President Trump will fulfill the mandate. The CCP has for decades taken land from us and we are going take that land back and deport the Chinese students that came to America for the wrong reason. To kill, steal and destroy!! If we come together we can change the plan of the enemy!!
Secretary Rubio’s decision is critical for our national security; even the aggressive sabotages from communist China have been in active at least from 2012. CCP is more dangerous than the then-Soviet Union because Xi’s regime has been much more successful in sabotages than the Russian communists as a result of failures from other US administrations (from Nixon, Clinton, Obama, Bush and Biden) who treated CCP as a friendly actor instead of adversary.
Well, how in Gods name could anyone ever have trusted China to begin with? China has been our enemy since I was born.

Lord Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing our government to find this out about what the Chinese students are unveiling to the Chinese Communistic Party.. We pray for our government officials to courageously stand firm in this decision of revoking Chinese students, in our universities here in our nation. We pray for a very strong intervention of your Holy Spirit in the CCP that they too would find the truth and so that they would be set free for eternal life in Jesus name.
Lord keep Sec. Rubio and his family safe according to Your Word in Psalms 91. He is doing double duty. We ask for your wisdom and revelation. We ask that hears You succinctly and is obedient to the leading of the Holy Spirit at all times.

There should also be investigation and exposure of those who opened the door to allow students to come to the US and study without sufficient vetting and security.
Praise the Lord for a common sense, wise use of government processes to examine the intrusion of Communist China doctrine into the United States using the education system. The known crimes against America within the education system (elementary thru colleges and universities) warrants such strong actions from the agencies under Secretary Marco Rubio.

Father God, thank you for Secretary of State Marco Rubio, revoking the Chinese student visas as many other foreign student visas! Foreign students who cannot conform or even have thoughts of trying to tear down our standards should not be given the privilege of studying in the United States! Much less receiving our Constitutional Rights as foreign students.
Statistics show that 27% (6,800) international students comprise the total of Harvard students! In addition, it has been shown that they receive the same financial aid as American students! Why can their appropriate countries share the cost of their own students financial aid? Should Americans continue giving our tax dollars to educate these students?
We continue to pray for our current Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, that his discernment and wisdom increase as He continues to put Americaās agenda first and foremost!

We do not owe anyone an education in our nation, especially if their motives are questionable. Since the CCP must approve of students seeking visas from the USA, I would say they are all questionable. Thank you, Secretary Rubio for this move.

Why was the student in 2021 included in this list for posting a letter āpraising the heroism of the students killed in the Tianenmen massacreā? Donāt we all agree that they were heroes for standing against the Communist regime? That doesnāt mean we support the massacre. What am I missing?
I wondered too. I think it’s focused on those who tried to muzzle him/her, as though they were back in China and not in a nation that values freedom of speech! I have wondered if they also attempt to muzzle, bully, manipulate, use, etc. our own citizens of Chinese origin.

Therefore, this is about a student who was doing something right but was a victim of harassment by CCP-influenced students who are committing crimes.
Lord God, please continue to expose Chinese students with ill intent against America. Better still, please help us to share Your word with others, winning souls and restoring/increasing our nation’s relationship with You.
Let’s remember that many of us have sons and daughters living in and ministering to the Chinese people. When we pray for our US protection, let’s remember to also pray for our children serving abroad, and for lasting peace between our countries.

It should also be noted that Chinese students are only permitted to study in America at the behest of the CCP. Additionally it must be noted the Chinese students are also tasked to cozy up with American students in technical studies in order to establish relationships and gain leverage for exploiting that expertise in the future and influencing the American’s viewpoint of the USA.
