Lord God, we pray out of compassion for people who are flooding the border, the children and adults who are being trafficked at the border, the many people suffering from the drugs flowing across the border, the police, Border Patrol and other officials trying to deal with the crisis, and the residents of the communities at the border. This crisis is widespread and terrible. So we cry out to You, God, for mercy and help.

Manchin: ‘Ludicrous’ to Talk about Immigration without Border Security, ‘Nobody Becomes a Citizen Until the Border Is Declared Secure’
- Manchin also stated that he wants to do something who came to America illegally, “but nobody becomes a citizen until the border is declared secure.”
- If they think they can come and get all the different benefits that people — that citizens of America can get — are entitled to, they’re going to continue to come. So, no, I don’t think so. Border security — in 2013, the bill that we did, we tried to have a pathway to citizenship, we take care of our DREAMers, which I have a lot of compassion for.
- I would love to do something for people that came, even if they came wrong, pay your fine, get in line, ten years back you won’t be jumping the line, but nobody becomes a citizen until the border is declared secure.”

Manchin is doing what politicians know how to do – use his platform and media to get a point across. He is outspoken BUT if Manchin really wants to put the “brakes” on any legislation that would help illegal immigration, he has the power to do it. It’s very simple. All he has to do is switch parties. That one move would suffocate the insanity that continues to come forth from an out of control democratic party. He doesn’t agree with 50% of the poisonous garbage his party continues to push. But to switch parties takes boldness, courage and a willingness to take the heat while not really caring about his own political future (self preservation).
I continue to pray for him and that he will make decisions in the best interest of our nation. If that means switching parties, then I will pray for that also. One person’s bold and courageous decision can help millions of others. God’s word teaches us that.
There’s a theme in the Old Testament that when God is judging a country He lifts his hand of protection and the enemies of that country swarm in. Then once the country that is supposed to learn the lesson then repents then God moves the enemy back and then deals with the enemy. SO I think that the REAL ISSUE is repentance on the part of the people of God here in the USA and thus much of this mess could be changed. Are Christians seeking God and repenting? Or just trying to vote their way out? REPENTANCE is a start for change.
Every Congressman and woman should be standing up and speaking out, strongly, against this huge border crisis!! Our country is being invaded, literally! This administration will NOT lift a finger to stop this disgraceful mess, and, by the way, they will also NOT help 14,000 people who have been been left behind in Afghanistan either! (That’s the number I heard this morning!) This is outrageous, on our border, and in Afghanistan!!
Father, we desperately need Your divine intervention. We ask for Your mercy. Show us what You want us to do and guide us in doing it. Lord, Your Word tells us that You are a very present help in time of trouble. Father, America is in great trouble. We have never faced what we are facing now. Forgive us for being complacent and for taking all Your blessings for granted. As the Psalmist says, ” Rise up and help us; rescue us because of Your unfailing love.”
Absolutely. God, I give You praise! There is no other Name, but Jesus, your Name is above every other name! You can see everything and You are able to help us! Please raise up godly leaders and help us as Your people to be faithful in prayer. We desperately need Your intervention along our borders, in our legal system and spiritually throughout our land. I ask this in Your mighty Name, Jesus.
Father God, I pray for the governmental leaders and department of state leaders who are making decisions about immigration policy in America. I pray against the spirit of confusion on them, communicating the wrong message to illegals. Confusion is bounded in Jesus’ name. Give our leaders a right mind to tell the truth on how to obtain U.S. citizenship legally. In Jesus’ name.
How are we going to keep track of all the illegals how manage to get past border patrol?
Yes, Father i pray for you to put angels everywhere along the border to supernaturally to keep out the people that mean harm to your people and your country Lord
