I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray for those who have walked away from You in the name of deconstruction. Woo them, Lord, and bring them back into Your arms.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Many are walking away from the faith, giving up the faith of their childhood. If we hope to reach out to them and convince them to stay, we have to understand WHY they are “deconstructing.”

From The Christian Post. “Deconstruction” has become a buzzword in Christian and secular communities, with the concept meaning different things to different people and, in turn, sparking no shortage of controversy.

With some well-known Christian leaders and celebrities renouncing their Evangelical faith or, at the least, retracting from it, the social phenomenon of deconstruction has left many with questions about what’s causing the phenomenon and how much culture is responsible for prominent deconversions.

Dominic Done, author of the book, Your Longing Has a Name: Come Alive to the Story You Were Made For, recently told Pastor Daniel Fusco what he believes is propelling some of it.

“We’ve got to have conversations about [this],” Done said on a recent episode of Fusco’s “You’re Gonna Make It” podcast. “There are so many people who are wrestling with their faith, who are struggling with doubt.”

Listen to Done discuss deconstruction and faith:

The author said some who find themselves deconstructing are most certainly dealing with apologetics issues that can fuel doubt — but he said other elements also drive moves away from the faith.

“One of the things I’ve learned in our ministry is … many times, it is an apologetic issue. They want to know where the Bible comes from or why is there evil and suffering in the world,” Done said. “But nine times out of 10, I’m discovering that what’s fueling doubt and deconstruction often is a soul that’s weary, or disillusioned, or struggling.”

These struggles might come from a plethora of arenas, with Done adding that some have “seen too much in the Church” or have become disillusioned by Christianity due to social or cultural issues.

“Many times, it’s a soul issue,” he said. “And so that really encouraged me.”

Done said much of the issue comes back to the health and wellness of a person’s soul, breaking down the importance of being in a spiritually healthy place.

“If our soul is flourishing and healthy, then nothing we go through can destroy us,” he said. “The health of our soul shapes the outcome of our life.”

The author said he’s hoping “Your Longing Has a Name” helps people find ways to get their souls to flourish, heal and seek restoration.

Done also spoke about the importance of differentiating between healthy doubt and the “cynical deconstruction” that has become a cultural movement of sorts, leading people to abandon churches and their childhood faith.

Listen to everything Done had to say on this topic here.

Since the foundation of family unity has been rapidly occurring for the last 40 years at least, older adults caring for children have fallen away causing an Avalanche effect for everyone. This family needs prayer and reconnecting with Jesus and God the father now more than ever before!!!!

Father, we intercede today for this Nation called America ( as well for other nations) We have wandered far away from you. As I read the story of deconstruction, my thoughts were How did this start? Well, I did a little research found : Derrida was born on July 15, 1930 and was well known starting in the 50,s to middle 2000,s. “ “ As we noted, Derrida became famous at the end of the 1960s, with the publication of three books in 1967. A seed was planted that grew and grew. “It is hard to deny that the philosophy publications of this epoch indicate that we have before us a kind of philosophical moment (a moment perhaps comparable to the moment of German Idealism at the beginning of the 19th century). “ He was famous, wrote many books, filled building when speaking. I know from reading all of his Salad mixed words that Satan had a hold of his mind. That has led us to this OWO, and elite globalist. “ He says: In other words, sovereignty attempts to possess power indivisibly, it tries not to share, and not sharing means contracting power into an instant.” “ Despite this controversy around Derrida’s alleged theism or atheism, it looks as though, for him, radical evil is not absolute evil”!!!! What has driven this ideas of this deconstruction epidemic is the need for Correct teaching about Jesus Christ and the Cross, I do not mean to harp about the church, or parents that have not attended to their positions of Teachings. American churches are guilty of being silent on their teaching- what is sin? Why did Jesus hang on a Cross, what was the purpose? He took our sin shed his blood, he was the sacrificial lamb for us to ASK Forgiveness; in order when we passed we would unite with God to have Eternal Life ( not go to a place called HELL) The deconstruction epidemic” is being led by many Demonic spirits that has lied to Derrida since the 50,s and thousands of today’s students and people to believe this so called cultural movement that are leading people to abandon churches and their childhood faith. What has happened to our youth, young marrieds, our professionals to leave the churches is: Jesus word is not being taught properly in a lot of churches, parents got busy working and did not include Christian guidance to them. I know, I am seeing it, hearing it! I have 4 granddaughters, I pray for them constantly, I try talking to them, they say don’t have time for that. They were all brought up in Christian Homes, when they were younger they asked me Biblical questions. Then we moved away my husband retired, I still saw them often, but I could feel a change. Now I am back around them because our children wanted us back close to them. My sons still go to church, are active but the daughters do not. Yes, I know. Went to a church with one of my granddaughters that she was going to. The Pastor was nice, friendly had a good group of younger men and women. But all the time I attended no teaching on sin, no teaching on the Holy Spirit. Satan has a hold on the teens, twenty year group, 30 age group, and a lot of the 40 age group. The Marxist, socialist groups were many in the Colleges they had speakers a plenty like this Derrida. The minds are filled with deception and lies. Prayer and hearing God truthful words is the only answer, mixed with true love and parents being parents, grandparents being Christian supporters. We must rely on prayer and the Holy Spirit to touch their lives to find Life in Jesus again. These are things I know and pray about constantly not only my granddaughters but others as well. My prayer is they all embrace the Truth again and bring Gods light back into all of their lives. I decree with Gods help all of my grandchildren will return their lives back into Jesus hands as well as all of the others who are losing their Faith in God. 🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️🧎‍♀️✝️ Thank you Jesus your will be done.

Dear Lord, I am reminded of Gideon in Judges 6-7:22 when I hear of the word deconstruction (falling away). You had delivered the people of Israel for 40 years. Warning don’t pay reverence to false gods. The people did not heed You and went into bondage. In Your great mercy an angel is sent to Gideon. Gideon is the least, the weakest of his family and yet offers a present, setting it before Your angel. He acknowledges You and builds an altar to You, “The Lord is peace”. Gideon starts with 32,000 to defeat 135,000 Midianites. 22,000 leave Gideon due to fear. 10,000 are reduced to 300 because they did not watch for enemies. God will take the battle!!! With trumpets, clay pots and lamps, You, God put dreams in the enemies’ minds and used Gideon and his men to help complete the task. Lord as we call upon You to take the battle over lost souls and those falling away, we desire to be used in Your army. By faith we offer ourselves for Your service. The battle is Yours; the victories are Yours and we bring our faith in alignment with You. Increase Your footprint to capture the hearts and minds of those who have gone astray. In Jesus’ mighty name! Amen.

I’m thinking the continual bombardment of propaganda from the media, heralding and trying to celebrate the demise of Christianity might contribute to this significantly…
it seems the denomination that i have spent most of my adult life in has decided to believe it too, as they have dropped Sunday School as well as Sunday night services, and often Wednesday nights too. “So let’s just throw up our hands and quit”….
But Jesus told us “The gates of hell will not prevail” against His Church. Surely if we’d believe this, it would help. And put away our hypocrisy and unbelief. I’m including myself…
O Lord, set our hearts afire with the power of the Resurrection of Christ, and with the Holy Ghost and fire.

The cause? Using too many outside sources to know God. And I mean Paul for you, the “Mother of God” for Catholics and the rest of the well meaning souls out there you dump Jesus for.

Matthew 23: 8-10 But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi’; for One is your Teacher, the Christ, and you are all brethren. Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. And do not be called teachers; for One is your Teacher, the Christ.

Who is YOUR teacher?

The comment about this being a ‘soul’ issue sounds close to the reality of this phenomenon. Yes; a healthy soul means a healthy life. However, it appears that there is more to this. There are several prophecies in Scripture that state when the shaking comes, only that which survives will remain. The chaff and rubbish elements of our faith will simply be blown away. The shaking will be quite violent. This is starting to happen, and, yes, many will walk away from their faith as a result. Isaiah makes reference to ‘remnant’ that will remain. There is a great need to encourage and strengthen each other in the faith, actively, and with conviction. The days of ‘nice’ regular routine church are coming to an end.

Many have left the faith because we have been teaching that the Bible is partly myth about creation, so we can pick and choose what we want to believe. If part is myth or just poetry, then the miraculous parts must be too-like Jesus’ resurrection or the virgin birth. God forgive us for tearing apart His word. May your Spirit put it back together for us.

I wonder if what is being taught is part of the problem. Many churches today are using the so called “power” of God as a carrot to lure people into the faith. Instead of worshipping God for who He is, the motivation is what He can do for me in my life. When people realize that God is not a Genie, they fall away from the faith. It is subtle and this teaching is very deceiving but so prevalent today. It is almost mystical in its origins.

I finished reading some comments about MLK day and Mr

Bidens sermon ( WH media). How confusing it must be to many that the political speeches given at that church were advertised as second. Another issue for Truth to be considered and how important the development of Critica Thinking.

God, let pastors begin teaching the Bible again, instead of straying from the inherent Word of God…..

Synopsis of a book written by Noah W. Hutchings titled “The Dark Side of the Purpose Driven Church”.

Dr. Rick Warren proposes that his Purpose Driven Church movement is a New Reformation, the greatest paradigm shift in church government and message since Martin Luther nailed his 95 Theses to the door of the church in Wittenburg, Germany, on October 31, 1517.

Without doubt, the Purpose Driven Church has become a tremendous force in the world, buth Noah Hutchings sees a dark side to this force.

Dr. Warren stated on May 23, 2005, at the Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life: “The word ‘Fundamentalist’ actually comes from a document in the 1920s called the Five Fundamentals of Faith. And it is a very legalistic, narrow view of Christianity.”

The five fundamentals fo the faith to which Dr. Warren objected are:

1. The inerrancy and full authority of the Bible
2. The virgin birth and full Deity fo Jesus Christ
3. The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead
4. Christ’s atoning, vicarious death for the sins of the world
5. The literal Second Coming fo Jesus Christ
The Purpose Driven Church religion at best is a distortion of the gospel; at worst, a movement to unite all religions to produce a one-world church.

“There are so many people who are wrestling with their faith, who are struggling with doubt.”

A Hymn of Praise; Romans 11:33-36
Oh, the depth of the riches
both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God!
How unsearchable His judgments
and untraceable His ways!
For who has known the mind of the Lord?
Or who has been His counselor?
Or who has ever first given to Him
and has to be repaid?
For from Him and through Him
and to Him are all things.
To God be the glory forever. Amen.

Philippians 2:13 For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him.

1 Corinthians 1:8-9 He will sustain you to the end, so that you will be blameless on the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God, who has called you into fellowship with His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, is faithful.

Psalm 138:8 The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever–do not abandon the works of Your hands.

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to chastise these who have turned away from You but You reminded me…You finish what You start. Your ways are a mystery. Your ways are immeasurable. Your ways are purposeful. I believe this Lord. So I am praying this morning for each one of these disillusioned children. I am asking that they will be sheltered while You work in them. I am asking that You will give them the desire and power to do what pleases You. My prayer is for You to draw each one into an abiding fellowship with Jesus Christ, deeper than they ever knew possible. Your loving devotion endures forever Lord, I pray You do not abandon the works of Your hands. I am praying in love and honor to You Father, in love and honor to my Savior, Jesus Christ and love and honor to the Holy Spirit, the power of creation within us. Amen

Father, wake up Your family. Send Holy Spirit fire upon Your people. Cause the local congregations to preach the Word of God on every occasion. Blow the breath of Holy Spirit upon every person, young and old. We need to live our lives just like the first believers. Jesus, come and save us from ourselves. Let there be a fresh wind of Holy Spirit power in the lives of Your people everywhere, so that the world will know there is a God in heaven. Come to our aid, Lord. We are weak, but You are strong. Amen.

Did they ever really receive anything from God (supernaturaly)? Did they have a genuine supernatural encounter with God? not just a mental assenting being brought up in a christian home like many/some. If one has come to a measure of knowng Him and His ways one does not question His existance or His love and goodness, though one may question and be perplexed as to what God is doing and allowing in one’s life, as the apostle Paul said in 2 Cor 4:8,9 9(NAS) “we are affliicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not despairing; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed” .
