Nearly every state won by Harris lacked strict voter ID requirements. Is this a sign that non-citizen voting is a bigger problem than we may think? What do you think?

From Newsmax. X owner Elon Musk, an avowed supporter of Presidential-elect Donald Trump and a potential administration assistant to root out waste, fraud, and abuse in government, tweeted a screen shot of a Newsmax broadcast this week.

The red-and-blue election state-by-state map on Thursday’s “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE” noted nearly all of the states that chose Vice President Kamala Harris were ones that have no voter ID on the books.

“Must be a coincidence 🙄,” Musk tweeted Sunday morning, sharing the Newsmax graphic that highlighted the impact of states that block voter ID requirements election integrity-seeking Republicans have long called for. …

Notably, Trump won every key battleground state, including the aptly Keystone State of Pennsylvania that led Newsmax to be the first network to call the race for Trump at 1:23 a.m. ET on Wednesday morning.

Pennsylvania, by law, does not require an existing voter to present a voter ID, but first-time voters in a district do. …

This election did expand some voter I.D. requirements in some states.

“Iowa, Idaho, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin all passed an amendment that requires citizenship in order to vote,” Higbie reported in his Friday episode. …

What role do you think non-citizen voting played in this election? Share in the comments.

I honestly don’t know the answer to that question, but I would certainly like to see that loophole closed. Certainly our citizenship should have more meaning when it comes to the right to vote!

You ask if we think voter ID played a part in the election. Based on the obvious indicators it is easy to say yes. However, the vast majority have absolutely no was to say either way. We did not see what was happening.
To declare either way merely fan the fires of arguments based on ignorance.
We would all like to know the truth, either way. But based on the demonstrated honesty of the left and the inability to actually KNOW what went on in the RED WON states such a question is really rabble rousing in my opinion.
Get some honest and rapid investigation by looking at real voter roles to see what actually took place and then report on it.

Someone said that in order to board a plane? to buy liquor? some other things? it is mandatory to show your picture citizen i.d. I’m not involved w/flying; certainly NOT buy “booze”. Some one can correct me here; but point is, since serious i.d. is REQUIRED for these other things, then CERTAINLY it should be mandatory to vote.

some states like California, Washington and Oregon are democrat with or without IDs . California said any one can vote this year but it probably did not change a thing. There are several other established Democrat states that would not be affected as well. I would hate for the nation to say no ID it would hurt most of the rest of the RED states. I would like national voter ID laws, I just doubt it will matter much in the blue states. That said, I believe we need voter ID for Federal elections.

It’s insane we can’t ask voters for proof of citizenship. One of our most important freedoms should be for citizens only!! This is fraud and corruption of America.

I think there should be a national mandate, law passed, that in all states, a valid photo ID must be presented in order for a “citizen” to vote.

It would be best if there would be an ID ONLY for citizens for voting purposes, a requirement to vote in any US election. Most IDs used today can include non-citizens. It is clearly stated that neither driver’s licenses nor social security cards verify citizenship. ONLY US passports and birth certificates.

Valid US Mlitary ID is a passport for active duty personnel and are proof of citizenship for all others authorized to carry them.
There should be, as previously stated, an equally valid proof of citizenship for all other valid citizens and these must be shown in order to vote
