In the last week, Fox News has come under significant criticism from the right.
Their Decision Desk made an early call with Arizona for Joe Biden, which is retrospect appeared premature.
Nonetheless, while the margin would narrow in the days that followed, former Vice President Joe Biden maintained his lead and now the major media organizations have called the state for Mr. Biden. . . .
Before Fox News, consumers had the major networks and CNN and that was it. In the cable news era, it now has CNN and MSNBC on the left, and Fox News on the right.
In prime time, Fox News offers the only lineup of conservative programming with stars Tucker Carlson, Sean Hannity and Laura Ingraham.
What conservatives must consider is whether a weaker Fox News is a good thing for the conservative movement. In my view, the answer is absolutely not.
Only Fox News can reach tens of millions of viewers. Competitors like Newsmax and OANN are not widely available, reaching only a small fraction of Fox News’ audience, which they built up over two decades.
Without Fox News, what media organization with a large audience would have called attention to violence in our cities, censorship on social media platforms, the downside of lockdowns and liberal media bias?
Fox News covered legitimate questions about Hunter Biden’s foreign business dealings better and more doggedly than anyone. MSNBC, CNN, CBS, ABC and NBC engaged in a media blackout.
The single most consequential interview for that story was conducted by Tucker Carlson with former Biden business associate and whistleblower Tony Bobulinski, which was viewed by more than 7 million people. . . .
Media Matters and left-wing activists have been trying to take down Fox News for years, organizing advertiser boycotts, calling for talent to be fired and constantly attacking Fox News employees. Ask yourself this question: Why is it that the left wants to cancel Fox News?
They have been doing this because Fox News has a large audience, and Fox News shapes public opinion with conservative programming.
As someone who works with campaigns, advertising on Fox News in primary races is the single most important budget expenditure in any election cycle.
No media organization is above criticism. Fox News should explain its editorial judgments when they are questioned, as they were in the case of the call on Arizona. But the call proved to be right and it never needed to be retracted. . . .
I never thought I would see the day when Republicans would do the left’s work for them by trying to weaken the most important media organization on the right.

Father God, please help us to be unified no matter what our opinion is on this matter and other matters. Division in the conservative camp is a real threat. If the enemy can get us to choose sides in such matters as this, then there is the risk of us taking our eyes off of God. As Charles Spurgeon said,
“It is ever the Holy Spirit’s work to turn our eyes away from self to Jesus; but Satan’s work is just the opposite of this, for he is constantly trying to make us regard ourselves instead of Christ.”
Protect us, Lord, so that our top priority is always the coming of your kingdom and righteousness on earth. In Jesus Name. Amen.
I stopped watching Fox years ago because we cut the cord to decrease our every increasing cable bill. Most of the news I got was through certain trusted internet news sites on my computer I just got a ROKU express ($29.99) and attached it to my TV for livestream. I now get my news from NewsmaxTv on Roku Channel and OAN on Pluto. Both provide SOLID conservative viewpoint. Newsmax and OAN far exceed what Fox provides. They also do not cost me anything.

It is NOT Trump legal team’s job to be uncovering all the evidence and getting to the bottom of the story! It is the JOURNALISTS’ job and Faux News has decided to take the backseat of a snobby Sadducee/Pharisee (waiting to catch Jesus in a mistake.)

It has been obvious for some time that Fox was changing its bias.
Chris Wallace moderating the first presidential debate was a joke.
Shep Smith was always very liberal.
Sandra Smith another liberal.
Judge Jeanine Pirro show cancelled.
Laura Ingraham watered down and encouraging peaceful transition of power.
And the worst is Donna Brazille …who wants to hear commentary from a liberal liar and cheater?
Even Tucker Carlsons coverage of Hunter Biden’s laptop was not followed up…just dropped.
I am guessing this is the result of Murdoch’s sons having more influence.

I have been a long time Fox news watcher and noticed the changes. Election night was the worst. I am done with Fox news.
Father God, you are the Truth and the Light. Shine your Light on All the evil and corruption to expose your Truth. You are the only trustworthy source of Truth.
Lord help us believe Your Word that you anoint leaders and kings, not the media. We pray continued blessings on Pres Trump, his family, and his legal team. We pray for a shield of protection around them all. Show them where to find the evidence And Truth.

Calling Arizona is not the only thing Fox did to anger conservatives. For the past year or so it has become apparent that they are biased to the left within their leadership and within some of their commentators. There are still some good ones who people are listening to: Tucker, Hannity, Judge Jeanine, Laura Ingraham, Lou Dobbs. I am not going back to Fox News – I’d like to see Newsmax, OANN, and Daily Wire grow – it would be great if they could draw the Fox good guys to them. I have been perfectly happy to view news from the three at their websites – don’t need them to be on cable as I never watch cable anyway. I also get an e-mail every morning where I can scan their headlines. For me, goodbye Fox!

I have turned away from Fox myself starting since the election too. A VERY IMPORTANT WARNING ABOUT EPOCH TIMES. Epoch Times is owned by a cult called Falun Dafa (Falun Gong). Proceeds from thier earnings go back into Falun Gong and events to recruit more members. They are an extremely deceptive cult. If you have seen advertisements for “Shen Yun” performances around Christmas time, that is the same group using performance art to gain interest in thier cult. One of my friends joined it years back and we have been praying for her ever since.
Although, thier articles are pretty good, I can’t bear the thought of supporting thier cult in any way. It is best to look into other alternatives.
There is nothing more American or conservative than the value of healthy competition and accountability to principles.
Prayers that NEW broadcast media outlets such as Newsmax and OAN, as well as social media outlets like Parler and Rumble, and print media like the Epoch Times – prosper and gain a strong following.
This is not about “conservative vs liberal” journalism! This is about objectivity and basic journalistic standards period! And in one of the most crucial, history turning days of this country — Fox News outdid even their so called liberal counterparts in peddling false information in a dangerously irresponsible and untimely manner. Recklessly calling states won or lost on their own terms.

Completely agree!! I grew up when news stated facts, not opinions and biases. That is what I want in news and what is lacking in main stream media.
I agree. Fox News says they are “fair and balanced.” I appreciate the fact that they have a few folks that are Democrats and a few that are Republicans. I do not want them to be a propaganda arm of the Republican Party the way CNN is for the Democrat Party. If I don’t like an anchor, I don’t watch him/her.
Father God, please help conservatives to give grace to Fox News. This nation needs to hear the news from different viewpoints. I can’t get OANN because Xfinity does not carry it and I can’t change providers. I pray that Fox can weather this storm and continue to draw in viewers because, though they are not perfect; they speak a LOT more truth than CNN/MSNBC. Please strengthen truth in our nation because it is in knowing the truth that we are set free. In Jesus Name. Amen.
Fox News was NOT objective on the most important of nights. Election Night. Even The NY Times and rival TV networks, as bad as they are, weren’t as blatantly irresponsible as Fox for calling states on their own terms etc…
Competition is healthy and you’re right. It’s not about propaganda. It’s about objectivity. And it’s about time alternative sources of media and social media emerge mighty and strong!!!
