WASHINGTON INSIDER TELLS IFA HOW TO PRAY

I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people—for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. (1 Tim. 2: 1-2)
Ralph Reed, founder and chairman of the Faith and Freedom Coalition, prayed with Intercessors for America on our First Friday Prayer Conference Call on May 5, 2017. Reed is closely connected with the White House and Capitol Hill. In fact, he was one of the religious leaders who took part in the White House National Day of Prayer dinner.
On the call, he shared from his personal knowledge that many of the Cabinet members and members of Congress are Christians. He suggested four prayer points for our Christian leaders in Washington:
Strength. These brothers and sisters in Christ know the right thing to do but need strength to do it. Why? Because of the “withering” attacks against them in the public and in the media. Reed said, “Almost nothing you see in the media about what’s going on is accurate.” Hear us, our God, for we are despised. Turn their insults back on their own heads. Give them over as plunder in a land of captivity. (Neh. 4:4)
Protection. Pray against the spiritual attacks against our leaders, their spouses, their children and extended families. Pray for God to protect them and their families. My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one. (Jn. 17:15)
Unity. Reed sees a key strategy of the enemy at work among the Christians in Washington—to divide and conquer. He pointed out, as an example, the personal and public “sniping” that we have seen among conservatives and Christians. The enemy seeks to bring about confusion and demoralization through disunity. Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind. (1 Pet. 3:8 ESV)
Courage. Reed encouraged us to pray that our leaders would do the right thing even though it isn’t popular. I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world. (Jn. 16:33)

Recently spent time praying for each member of Congress, leading up to the National Day of Prayer. Through this, I believe I understand some of the issues. This feedback from Congressman Reed is instructive. Thank you, and I will keep praying. Congress is not the ‘nameless masses’ — but real men and women with real issues they are facing (personally and collectively).
Dear Heavenly Father,
I come into agreement with all my sister’s and brother’s in Christ.
Lord Jesus, how it must grieve You to see believers squabbling among themselves. It was Your desire that we would be one, just as You and the Father are one. Teach us to ignore our differences and focus instead on all the wonderful joys we have in common because we believe in You. Bind us together through Your mercy, love, and grace. Amen.
Luke 18:1 – Jesus told them a parable about their need to pray always and not to lose heart.
Ask God to bind Satan in the lives of those who want to confuse, cause chaos and dismantle our nation – those whose plans are evil, in particular George Soros, Kim jung Il, etc. As the scriptures say Satan goes around like a roaring lion seeing who he can devour. I pray our leaders be strong and resist the temptations that come before them. Also, I ask God for a mighty spiritual revival in this nation where the Holy Spirit is poured out on the teachers, preachers, leaders who will speak God’s word with power and charisma. Phyllis

For there is one God and now mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people, in Jesus name!
Lord, the prayers in agreement to your heart is what I stand in agreement. This is good, and pleases God our Savior, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all people, in Jesus name!
Jesus is Lord!
We must be vigilant in prayer and together do a united prayer condition. What is happening is the undermining of our country and God will not let that stand. This is a time of victory and the “evil self-centered motivations” of people are being exposed. Let us continue for the righteousness of this nation to endure. While the other side #Resists, we will #Persist! Please continue in prayer. Thanks for the work this movement is doing.
And the Spirit of the LORD began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Eshtaol. Judg 13.14. Ver 4: ..(parents) knew not that it was of the LORD, that he sought an occasion against the Philistines. The enemy had dominion over the holy people but God raised up Samson to obtain victory. Pray the Holy Ghost to descend on leaders so they can do exploits.
I bind and agree with you for our leaders and their families and our nation
Heaven’s come down and HIS GLORY filled this place. Seems to me somewhere in my bible it says, “For this cometh out, but by fasting and prayer.” Jesus himself instructed us… isn’t that something.
Holy Ghost make us of one mind and one accord, may we march forward, as addressed to nobles and rulers and to the rest of the people…
Nehemiah 4:14b Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, WHICH IS GREAT and TERRIBLE/(awesome), and fight for your brethren, your sons, and your daughters, your wives, and your houses
We pray for a spirit of Justice, Righteousness, and Truth to be raised up and stand as a strong tower. We will stand together and come against every attempt to bring down Donald Trump and remove all obstacles to his election. Together, we strive to ensure that nothing will come up short of His perfect The following are our prayer points. This call is an open prayer line where you will have the opportunity to pray into any of the points listed as the Lord places it on your heart. We encourage the use of Scripture in your prayers!
1) Pray that God will bring this Nation back under the Rule of Law!
2) Pray against: False Flags, ISIS or other terrorist acts, chaos, Martial law enactments especially in New York, Virginia, and Texas, along with any other state before, during, or after the elections.
3) Pray for Trump’s (and family) and Pence’s (and family) safety. Pray against any attempts on their lives before, during, or after the election. Bind the spirit of assassination. Pray for the binding and removal of any influence of witchcraft in the name of Jesus.
4) Pray for an increase in favor for Donald Trump; pray for wisdom, grace, and peace. Pray to diffuse any deceit/slander/smearing. Pray that the truth will reign and remove the veil from the eyes of the people to see the truth and vote for God’s anointed, His Cyrus, Donald Trump.
5) Pray that there will be an influx of GOP leaders, Independents, and Democrats. Pray they will see the truth and come into the movement to set America free from corruption. Pray that they will leave tradition and join with the loyalists to vote for Donald Trump.
6) Pray for the awakening of the Church to the truth of God’s plan for Trump, expose the deceit and lies, and compel them to seek the Holy Spirit for guidance in the election.
7) Pray for integrity in the voting processes. Pray against fraud. Pray for the malfunction in the software of all corrupt/rigged voting machines. Pray, the Hillary-controlled syndicate will not steal the election, including the media. Pray against Federal oversight that would compromise the ballot places.
8) Pray for complete exposure of all that Bill & Hillary Clinton have been involved in including utilizing the Clinton Foundation to further their political and financial position. Pray the Clinton Foundation’s acceptance of millions of dollars as payment (by foreign governments) for favors by Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State.
9) Pray for justice to be served in respect to the treasonous and other criminal activities discovered on Anthony Weiner’s computer by the NYPD. Pray that the FBI will carry this thing through and everything found by the FBI will be exposed and the Clinton’s brought to justice. Pray that the Dept. of Justice would not bottleneck this evidence and prevent the truth from coming out. Pray that no agency would be able to hold back the truth concerning Hillary, Bill, Huma, John Podesta, and others associated with the Clintons. Pray that the evidence would be made known to the American people concerning even the pedophilia and evil acts committed, no matter how horrible, that it would come to light so that after the exposure we can be healed. Pray that the Clinton Crime organization will be brought down, and its façade removed so that it is made powerless.

Lord I thank you for the men and women you have called to be part of governing our country. I speak a hedge of protection round about each one and their families and homes. Fill them with your wisdom, give them strength to endure persecution and insults because they choose to do what is right and good and what pleases you. Cover them with your grace and may they find favor with you and even favor with man. May courage lead and keep them as they do your will. Let these brothers and sisters in Christ seek You every minute of every day, that your will be done. And so that you Father receive the Glory you are due. Bless the holy name of the Lord now and forever.. Amen
I would like to suggest for the remainder of this month and half of next, phone prayer until we see the change in the heavenlies for many situations…
pray for the media to discern their own words
I believe the lead in to the article is, as we said in the olden days, snide. Good points in his comments. I have never seen the manifestation of evil so apparent in Washington and our country. It is scary that I trust no media, no polls. I believe what I see and do my own interpretation. That also scares me. We must turn back to God – now! Thank you for sharing YOUR thoughts on what we should be praying, God help this country and its people
