Many representatives fought against a simple FISA reauthorization, campaigning to add an amendment to the infamous surveillance act, and necessitating a warrant. The House passed the warrantless version, however.
From The National Pulse. A proposal to renew section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) cleared the House of Representatives by a vote of 259-128 on Monday, and it is now heading to the Senate.

Rep. Andy Biggs (R-AZ) had put forward an amendment requiring the authorities to acquire a warrant before accessing information collected on American citizens using FISA, but it was unsuccessful. …
Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) expressed strong disapproval of FISA’s renewal, noting that “the program has been abused to spy on American citizens in direct violation of American liberty and the 4th Amendment” and that “[t]he FISA court found that the federal government violated its own rules over 278,000 times.”

Oh Lord God, our government as been cracking and crumbling because of the spiritual warfare that has altered leaders to make wise and faithful decisions. This government is a lost cause and DESPERATELY NEEDS TO FOCUS ON JESUS!! He’s our only on you for hope!!
Speaker Johnson has shown where his loyalties are. Not only has he orchestrated the continued spying without warrants, but he is financing war in Urkraine to protect their borders while the southern border of the US is being invaded and nothing be done by federal government to stop it. In fact I feel they are doing just the opposite. Americans are being beaten and killed by the illegals also Americans properties are being taken over by illegals ie squatter rights. Of course none of that ever touches the politicians so they DON’T CARE. God may all the harm that has come upon Americans because of the lawless acts of the administration and those whoo support it come back on them. Not my will but Your will be done O God
Lord Jesus, please, by your great mercy and grace, cause this, and all questionable, senseless bills aimed at giving away our freedoms, to fail miserably. Please, give our congressmen and senators wisdom and guidance in how they vote on each and every piece of legislation, especially this one. Thank You, Jesus.
