I Prayed have prayed
Lord, protect Africa and all the Christians who live there. We pray against this possible genocide.
Reading Time: 4 minutes

The rise of violent extremist groups throughout Africa, as well as the constant attacks against Christian communities in the continent’s most populated country, has religious leaders fearful that “the next jihad” is underway as world leaders seem to be rushing to address the problem.

“I know one thing has never really changed: No one gives a damn about Africa except for their natural resources or if there is going to be a big party because there is a peace treaty being signed,” said Rabbi Abraham Cooper, director of the global social action agenda of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, a leading Jewish human rights organization with over 400,000 family members.

“That’s just the truth and it’s a terrible truth. It might be one of the vestiges, frankly, of colonialism.”

Cooper teamed up with Rev. Johnnie Moore, a commissioner on the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom and president of the Congress of Christian Leaders, to author the new book The Next Jihad: Stop the Christian Genocide in Africa.

The book was written after the unlikely duo traveled together to Nigeria earlier this year to meet with dozens of Christian victims of terrorism from five different regions.

In recent years, Nigeria, the continent’s richest country, has dealt with the rise of Islamic terrorist groups in the northeast (Boko Haram and the Islamic State West Africa Province) and an increase of deadly attacks on farming communities carried out by militarized radicals from the Fulani herding community.

In the past few years, it’s been estimated that thousands of Christians have been killed while millions of Nigerians have been displaced from their communities.  . ..

“[We want] to help people really feel the problem and understand it enough to do something about it,” Moore, an evangelical human rights advocate, told The Christian Post about the purpose of the book. “It was Rabbi Cooper who initiated the trip and encouraged me and us to go together to shine a light on what was happening there. It felt like deja vu to me because back in 2014, the Weisenthal Center was the first organization of any kind that recognized what ISIS was doing to Christians and Yazidis in Iraq was genocide.”

“Where my mind was when we were writing the book right after our trip, 10 days before the world started shutting down because of COVID, I thought this could be the next jihad,” Moore continued. “I since come to realize that it is the next jihad right now. It is not just Nigeria. It is the countries around Nigeria. It is a quickly escalating problem.”

Outside of Nigeria, the growing presence of Islamic extremist groups and increasing attacks have plagued other regions of Africa and caused mass displacement.  . . .

While acknowledging that the spread of terrorism and violence in Africa after the fall of ISIS in Syria and Iraq is a continent-wide problem, much of the book’s focus is on Nigeria as both leaders see the country as being a continental leader when it comes to its size and influence.

“It has the 10th largest oil reserves in the world, it is the most populated country in Africa,” Moore explained. “It has the largest economy in Africa. It is surrounded by countries with terrorist insurgencies. If anything goes the wrong way, the Syrian crisis will feel like a distant memory compared to the catastrophe that the failure of West Africa could actually happen because of neglecting the situation in Nigeria.”

But in Nigeria and even among some U.S. diplomats, the debate on violence in Nigeria is complicated, especially when it comes to the rise of Fulani extremist attacks on predominantly Christian farming villages in the country’s Middle Belt.

On a regular basis, reports emerge of overnight attacks carried out on farming villages in which people are slaughtered, homes are burned and farmlands are confiscated.  . . .

The Anambra-based International Society for Civil Liberties and Rule of Law estimates that at least 812 Christians were killed by Fulani radicals in the first half of 2020 by radical herdsmen.

While human rights advocates have accused the Nigerian government of not doing enough to protect its citizens from Fulani attacks, talk about how the international community should respond to the crisis has been “deflected” by a debate about what role religion is playing in the Fulani attacks, the authors explained.

While the Nigerian government has maintained that the conflict is less about religion and is just a continuation of a decades-old resource conflict between herders and farmers, Christian victims and advocates contend that there are strong religious overtones at play in the violence that should not be ignored, especially when attackers are screaming “Allahu Akbar” as they slaughter villagers and burn down houses.

In the book, Moore and Cooper recalled a meeting they had in February with U.S. Ambassador to Nigeria Mary Beth Leonard in which they discussed the religious aspects of the violence throughout the country.

“She denied that it was at all about religion and described the conflict as ‘fundamentally a resource issue,’” the book states. “Religion was, according to Ambassador Leonard, only relevant as it served as a potential accelerant to conflict. She left us with the impression that people like us, by speaking up for victims of religious persecution, were part of the problem. We found this to be hugely alarming.”

Cooper pointed out that while the Nigerian military has the capacity to stop the violence, the military has not been or willing or able to do so. The authors believe that the U.S. and United Kingdom governments should do more in their power to pressure the Nigerian government to protect its citizens. . . .

The book was released just weeks ahead of the U.S. presidential election last month.

“We believe that whoever is sitting in the Oval Office in January and whatever the number counts are in the House and Senate, the issue of Nigeria — and specifically the genocide that is underway there against Christians — will have to be an issue that is dealt with by the United States,” Cooper contended, “not only because of religious freedom and all the rest but also because of the terrorist players that are operating in the neighborhood and expanding their operations.”

Heavenly Father, You know more than anyone else on earth how Nigeria, the largest black population on earth is tied to the faith of America and Great Britain. Most people on earth are ignorant of the huge spiritual connections. It is no secret Nigerians are some of the most brilliant people in the world competing with their Caucasian counterparts in every job sector in Western Europe, Australia and North America. Their strict upbringing and education makes them excel when they are abroad. As the saying goes in America, how many people have ever heard of a Nigerian in America on welfare? It just doesn’t exist. They are overachievers academically, entrepreneurially and a resilient bunch. Despite all these great attributes, it is no secret that the State Department under Obama loathed the fact of the growing power of the reborn Christians in Nigeria and how they literally influenced the whole continent for Gods kingdom. The biggest churches in East Africa in Kenya are owned by Nigerian Pastors. It is no secret that Nigerian churches are the most of any foreign nation in North America and they are reborn. Although many vote democrat they are very conservative in their views waiting on most cases to marry before having children and believing in the doctrines of the holy Scriptures. But it is also true that half the population in the 190 million Nigerians are of the Islamic faith and where under development and poverty is rampant.

Yet, the State Department has never revealed the bloody truth that most of the leaders that governed Nigeria were from the Moslem North and they did nothing for their own people of their own faith except to escalate corruption and bring the country down. It was understood that the former leader in the 80’s Babangida that ruled Nigeria, and a Muslim did nore damage to Nigeria and introduced the first assassinations’ of a journalist by a bomb blast in his office (Dela Giwa) who was the (Bob Woodruff equivalent in Nigeria) He also amassed $7 billion in riches and gave $16 billion to the organization of Islamic countries without most Nigerians knowing about it.

After all, the MI6 put in power in a bloodless coup with the support then of Ronald Reagan who allowed Margaret Thatcher to call the shots concerning Nigeria. Ironically, they put him there to overthrow the current President today of Nigeria who was a military general and had lost favor with Margret Tathcher

The British have always favored the North. Since colonial times, the British ensured most of the military where from the North and were Fulani because the educated South and Majority Christian Midwest wanted independence immediately. Secondly, the Spirit of Homosexuality is ironically very rampant in the Moslem North although the Head of State who is a Moslem does not believe in it and are very strict against it. The secular world don’t like the fact that the Christian evangelist are sweeping into the Moslem north and so they have kept quiet while radical Muslims from other nations have come into Nigeria to drive back the growing successful Christian evangelism in the North. On the other hand, the Fulani North in the upper half of Nigeria believe that had the British not colonized Nigeria they would have swept the entire country into an Islamic nation. So they are radicalized and determined to Islamize the entire nation. In the mid 90’s President Bush worked with then Christian President Obasanjo, a former military general himself to restructure the Nigerian military into a military that was balanced and neither predominantly of Muslim faith in the hierarchy of the military. Nigeria had no radical Islamic terrorist then and Obasanjo government was one of economic stability and the economy prospered. It is no secret that Nigeria has enough arable land to feed the entire world. Yet it is far from food self sufficiency although great strides have been made. They are lots of fruits and vegetables everywhere and farming is now becoming a lucrative trade.

The current President who was overthrown in the 80’s by Babangida is a Fulani and a Moslem has been passive plagued in the beginning of his administration with chronic health but appears to have recovered. He has been very reluctant in not allowing the military tog completely wipe out Boko Haram. There is a growing rumor that they have been the one’s arming the terrorist to fulfill the ‘Great Jihad’ battle that will unfold in Nigeria unless the ALMIGHTY GOD says no. Deep in his heart they believe they have penetrated the South through Moslem enclaves under the disguise they are cattle ranchers and need land and they are armed to the teeth. Yes, a genocide is inevitable.

The reborn Christians would not fight because of their faith. The lack of development that the Ambassador points out and the Clintons & Obama as the reason for the crises is an insult to our intelligence. I flew to Nigeria in 2011 on a secret mission sent by God to deliver a message to the Minister of Police. (Homeland Secretary) equivalent of an attempt to assassinate the then Christian President Jonathan Goodluck through a bomb planted on his plane. I met with the Minister(Secretary) Police whom the Chief of Police for all of Nigeria reports to. He appreciated me and understood I was sent by God. A few weeks after it was announced that the head of the NSA(a Christian then) and the Governor of Kaduna,(a Christian too) and who was the first Christian governor of a predominantly and important Moslem state were blown to pieces in a bomb placed on their plane. The predominantly Northern Muslim hated the fact that Kaduna had voted for a Christian Governor and also the NSA director of Nigeria was a Christian. So they dealt with them. The NSA Director was working on a master plan to contain Boko Haram. The wise counsel from GOD to protect the then Christian President Jonathan Goodluck did not filter down to the other key cabinet and top Security chiefs of President Goodluck’s Administration. I wrote up a dossier on the security situation in Nigeria like a skilled intelligence officer and submitted it to Cheryl Mills the all powerful Chief of Staff of then Sec Hillary Clinton. They got the classified information and since I do not work for any of the 17 joint intelligence agencies in America I could do such a thing as a free man.

I warned Sec Clinton in the letter this was 2011 about the growing spread of Islamic Fundamentalism and the rise of Boko Haram. Then Boko Haram was small and did not have the power it had. The Obama administration loathed President Jonathan and they believed he was showing too much favor to the predominantly Christian South. Yet this is the biggest lie in history second only to the lie that Biden won. Jonathan spent more money on infrastructure, schools, even Islamic schools, agriculture and roads than any Moslem leader of Nigeria did for their people. Yet, under pressure from President Joe Biden and Obama Jonathan did not even wait for the election results before conceding. The East Coast diplomats of the U.S. and the State Department do not understand Nigeria. Period. The Northern Moslems have always believed they own Nigeria. The current Moslem leader has filed the military with his people. If the Christians decide to fight back, they would over run Nigeria because they can easily develop sophisticated missiles including a crude Nuclear devise. They are very smart and every Northern Nigeria knows that. Many western leaders want to Use Nigeria the most religious nation on Earth to push for a one world Religion and they cannot do it unless there is genocide in Nigeria. This is the GREATEST SPIRITUAL SECRET IN THE WORLD. The Coat of Arms of Nigeria has an Eagle on top and Two horses at each side. They are more Nigerians living in America highly educated than any black population in the U.S. period. They are mainly Christians. All the Nigerian Churches are reborn Churches. Nigerian Christians influence in Africa is so Strong, that apart from South Africa and Cape Verde all the other 52 countries out of 54 do not allow Gay Marriages Period because of the fear of God. This is why it has been unable to become a world wide phenomena except in Western Europe & North America. They are over 1000,000 million Nigerians in America many of them permanent residence and citizens and they are in every job sector. They are 200,000 Nigerian physicians and healthcare workers in America. Nigerians are known for their education before coming to America. Nigerian Evangelist are everywhere in the World. They have overtaking America as the number one nation that spreads the gospel. Nigerians are the second largest tourist visitors to Israel after the United States. Nigerian Christians poor billions of dollars into the Israeli economy. Their Country is struggling economically because of chronic corruption, nepotism and religious unrest poor infrastructure except the Capital Abuja and Lagos and a few states. Yet, they were voted the most happy people in the world. God is good. Nigerians know how to pray and fast. They understand spiritual warfare very well. So Nigeria is tied to the end times and they way a Biden Administration will handle a crises in Nigeria will be so different from a Trump Administration. The Current Moslem Leader has been re-elected since 2017 and has had the opportunity to turn the economy around and help his own people yet this is yet to be done while radical terrorist has grown in the country and he campaigned to stop that. In fact, the Christian leader did everything he could and nearly wiped out Boko Haram hiring mecenaries and buying weapons from the Eastern Europe because Obama had put an arms embargo except for light weapons and so were the British because they wanted Jonathan the Christian President out because they never forgave him for not sponsoring legislation to allow Gay Marriages in Nigeria but worked with the Senate not to allow it. This thing I have told you is so deep but everything I have written is 100% accurate.

Now let us pray. My father and my King, the Eternal rock of ages. We thank you for training the Christians in Nigeria’s hand for battle and their figures for war. You are their strength, their loving God and Fortress, their high tower and their deliverer, their shield and in whom they all take refuge in you. Disappoint the devises of the crafty that they would not be able to perform their evil hand of enterprise concerning the destiny of Nigeria. Expose the cynical plot to allow Nigeria implode into civil war to further their evil agenda of one world religion as they are trying to do with one world government using Covid 19. I ask for your direct intervention in the affairs of Nigeria in the name of Yeshua. Thank you for raising a vibrant powerful church in Nigeria that has limited everything from Ebola in 2014 only 7 people died to your marvelous work significantly containing Covid 19 in Nigeria because your loving Kindness is better than live. We praise your great and powerful name for the whole earth is filled with your glory. Turn the token of liars concerning Nigeria to madness, divide their tongues for all those who have an evil agenda concerning Nigeria. Let All Americans be made aware of the hidden agenda to allow Nigeria to fester more and more into disorder in other to put in effect their agenda. We all know the Pentagon has long anticipated a break out of war in Nigeria and have long drawn up plans when it manifest. My prayer is that they would do the right thing and wipe out the Islamic radicals rather than be used by the politicians in the corridors of power in Washington to curtail Gods power through the spread of the gospel to the Moslem North by the fearless Christian Evangelist in Jesus name I pray. Never forget one thing. Nigeria Christians and indeed most Nigerians are the most pro American Country in Africa. They are the ones who nicknamed America ‘Gods Country’

Father, expose the plans of the wicked against Your people and let nations rise up to battle in Your Name and for Your people. Protect the innocent and put a hedge of protection around them. Place godly people in positions of influence to work on destroying the evil plans of the enemy. Father, You change the hearts of men and kings and ask that You would change hearts. In Jesus name, Amen.

Lord,

Please be with our brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted. We pray for their cries to be heard and for the world to react. I pray against Boko Harem and all other terrorist groups that are trying to eradicate the believers and Your word from the country.I pray You will confuse the plans of the enemy. I pray for land in Africa that can be set aside for the Christians in order for them to have a place for them to freely worship You. I pray for Godly leadership in Nigeria to rise up. Lord please keep them strong and give them grace in the hard times. I pray for leadership in other countries to put pressure on the Nigerian government to stop the violence against Christians.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Last night, I read this tweet on Jenna Ellis’ twitter page. It is from June but appears at the top of her page.

“I’m going on record now:
If they try to cancel Christianity, if they try to force me to apologize or recant my Faith, I will not bend, I will not waver, I will not break.
On Christ the solid Rock I stand.
And I’m proud to be an American.”

Then, I felt prompted to mail a copy of the following to The White House. It was found among the papers of a man who was a martyr in AFRICA.

I’m a part of the fellowship of the unashamed. The die has been cast. I have stepped over the line. The decision has been made. I’m a disciple of His and I won’t look back, let up, slow down, back away, or be still. My past is redeemed. My present makes sense. My future is secure. I’m done and finished with low living, sight walking, small planning, smooth knees, colorless dreams, tamed visions, mundane talking, cheap living, and dwarfed goals.
I no longer need preeminence, prosperity, position, promotions, plaudits, or popularity. I don’t have to be right, or first, or tops, or recognized, or praised, or rewarded. I live by faith, lean on His presence, walk by patience, lift by prayer, and labor by Holy Spirit power.
My face is set. My gait is fast. My goal is heaven. My road may be narrow, my way rough, my companions few, but my guide is reliable and my mission is clear.
I will not be bought, compromised, detoured, lured away, turned back, deluded or delayed.
I will not flinch in the face of sacrifice or hesitate in the presence of the adversary. I will not negotiate at the table of the enemy, ponder at the pool of popularity, or meander in the maze of mediocrity.
I won’t give up, shut up, or let up until I have stayed up, stored up, prayed up, paid up, and preached up for the cause of Christ.
I am a disciple of Jesus. I must give until I drop, preach until all know, and work until He comes. And when He does come for His own, He’ll have no problems recognizing me. My colors will be clear!

Imagine my surprise when I opened up this webpage and saw this article! God, save the church! We need you in Africa, America, Australia, Argentina, and everywhere. Strengthen us all so that we will STAND FIRM in adversity. In Jesus Name. Amen.

My pastor has gone to Nigeria twice during a time of terrorist activity. The last time he had a photo online of one of the female leaders on her knees on the main speakers platform. Her comment, “you came! We felt like everyone had forgotten us.” Now when I hear Nigeria my prayer is,”Lord let them not Be Forgotten, but to know we are surrounding them with our prayers for protection. Psalm 91, 104, 112, 134. That they may know the actuality of the heavenly host in their midst and find strength to fulfill their calling that none should be lost.” Amen
So be it. And may we be vigilant in our call to hear of their needs.
Amen..

Our church sent a local family to Nigeria in the 1960’s. The harvest of souls was great and Christianity was flourishing. Lord God, put down the forces of Satan rising up against your people in Nigeria! Thwart all the plans for evil and protect the Nigerians. Give an outpouring of Your Spirit over the country!

Another reason I am trusting God that President Trump will be in office for four more years and am expecting a Republican majority in Congress – the Dems would do NOTHING for Africa.

I have been praying for my brothers and sisters in Africa, China, and North Korea. This fight for our election has taught me so much about spiritual warfare – let’s engage this massive army praying for America to also fight for Africa, China, and North Korea (also Venezuela)!!! Jesus has been strengthening His Church – let’s go to war with the angels for our brothers and sisters! IFA – maybe you can give us more news from these places to pray about (thank you for this article!)!

Brothers and sisters from all over the world have been praying for us and encouraging us – we must do the same for them! People will know Jesus’ disciples by their love for each other – so let’s show the world! Praise the Lord Jesus!

“Because the poor are plundered, because the needy groan, I will now arise,” says the Lord; “I will place him in the safety for which he longs.”
Psalm 12:5

Father God,
Arise, we pray and look upon the people suffering in Nigeria. Raise up those who are able to influence the government leader, President Maj. Gen. (ret.) Muhammadu Buhari to protect Nigerian citizens from the Fulani radicals and Boko Haram. Raise up leaders from the international community, including the United States to see that religious freedom is a way of life, not persecution and death, for Nigerians. In the mighty name of Jesus we stand against the spirit of oppression and fear. We pray in Your Name and authority over the enemy that witchcraft, curses, perversions and deception be removed from the citizens of Nigeria. Instead, may Your Kingdom come and Your righteousness reign and freedom be granted in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen

Please Father protect these Nigerian Christians from radical Islamic extremists who seek to destroy them every night. Help them to be watchful and prayerful. In Jesus name Amen

Thank you so much IFA for bringing this to light. Nigeria has many issues plaguing it; however religion plays a huge role in the senseless slaughtering of Christians. I cannot begin to go in depth as my heart is breaking.
God please help Nigeria. Help our Christian brothers and sisters who are being killed and persecuted. Also help all the oppressed, the poor, the needy, and the powerless in Nigeria. Lord, Nigeria needs you. Do what only you can for our nation, in Jesus name I pray, Amen.

P.S. Christians in America, please do not take your liberties for granted. Pray and intercede that you do not in any way get a government that propagates evil and suppresses the people. The bible is absolutely right when it says ” when the righteous rule, the people rejoice”. Ask anyone from a third world country who is willing to tell you the truth. God bless America.

I plead the blood of Jesus Christ throughout the land to tear down evil and change the hearts of those that plot harm over our precious brothers and sisters in Christ. Holy Spirit guide your children to safety, health, and blessings. Let them want for nothing. Thank you Father. In Jesus’s name. Amen and Amen.
