I Prayed have prayed
Father, teach us how You value life — and may our words, our actions, and our hearts be in line with Your will.

Universal health care in Canada paved the way for a governmental medically assisted suicide that now includes those with mental illness. Other nations need to recognize this progression and understand why it happened. We must pray for a culture of life in our nation.

From The Federalist. Today, Canadians are experiencing a three-word addition to what Ronald Reagan called the nine most terrifying words in the English language: “I’m from the government, and I’m here to help you kill yourself.”

Get involved in state level prayer with IFA.

Soon after the announcement that Canada would expand its medically assisted suicide program to include those with mental illness, the popular Canadian department store chain Simons issued a new advertisement celebrating the policy. The video features a woman saying, “Last breaths are sacred; you just have to be brave enough to see it,” over a montage of her being wheeled to places of natural wonder. The department store’s logo is featured prominently at the end of the commercial. …

In 1984, the Canadian left slapped together a single-payer health care scheme by which citizens would pay into a provincially administered, federally and provincially funded health-care system that provides access to most health services at no extra cost. …

But maintaining a low-cost, easy-access, government-run health-care program in a large, democratic country with a growing dependent-to-workforce ratio just isn’t working out for Canada. Low pay for medical professionals, who still have to pay for college and medical school, has created an acute shortage of doctors. …

Because raising taxes to pay for more doctors is democratically unpopular and obliterates the promised cost savings from government-run health care, growing health-care expenses are deducted from the general budget. …

In this grim situation, reconciling leftist goals of providing no-extra-cost care for all with fiscal reality requires a shocking technocratic solution: eliminating the excess population to relieve them of the suffering inflicted by progressive utopianists.

This isn’t an over-exaggeration. According to the National Post, the woman in the advertisement, the now-deceased 37-year-old Jennyfer Hatch, “only opted for assisted suicide after her years-long attempts to secure proper health care failed.” For ten years, Jennyfer was bounced from specialist to specialist, and when she could even see one none had a background in Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, the genetic but manageable illness from which she suffered. …

Medically assisted suicide may soon become more prevalent in the United States as prominent members of the Democratic Party are moving ahead with promoting a universal health care morass of their own. …

Indeed, medically assisted suicide is a Democrat-supported issue and has been adopted in 10 Democrat states and is being pushed for in more. Should Democrats gain enough votes to pass universal health care in Congress, they’ll have enough votes to approve assisted suicide. …

Our Lord has our days numbered in the lambs book of life. We should never think of taking our own life.

When the government takes charge of our health care that will be the final end to our freedom. Such as the example of Canada in the article.

Psalms: 139:13:18. 13 “For you created my inmost being;
you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
your works are wonderful,
I know that full well.
15 My frame was not hidden from you
when I was made in the secret place,
when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
16 Your eyes saw my unformed body;
all the days ordained for me were written in your book
before one of them came to be. 17 How precious to me are your thoughts,[a] God!
How vast is the sum of them!
18 Were I to count them,
they would outnumber the grains of sand- when I awake, I am still with you.“. Gods character goes into the creation of every person. When you feel Worthless or began to hate something in your life/ We must remember that Gods spirit is ready and waiting and willing to take care of us when we ask. God is love and He expects us (We) to have respect for our selves as He does. Psalms: 118- 5 I called upon the Lord in distress: The Lord answered me. 6: The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can a man do unto me? God has provided his words to letting us know He is our protecter, our deliverer. No matter our situation, the Lord will stand by us. Satan is the provider of death and uses people, leaders to promote this push to states to promote Universal Health to commit suicide. God teaches us to pray and when facing temptation of sin he will reach out to save us. The Cross Jesus hung on was not only for sin, but healing in our bodies. Psalm: 141-3, 5- “3 Set a guard over my mouth, Lord;
keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Do not let my heart be drawn to what is evil
so that I take part in wicked deeds
along with those who are evildoers;
do not let me eat their delicacies. “ This is God telling us to guard our hearts.” To fight against enemy (man) is to Get to know Jesus, read his words, never to listen to man who is guided by satin’s evil spirit. God gave us a Covenant and Decrees in the Bible ( Gods Word) to fight against the enemies who hold us captive. Say I call in sickness, I call in freedom from temptation of sin, I call in freedom for life, I call in everything that has been discouraging me, I am believing God will answer my prayers for a closer walk with Him, I declare I will have more Faith as I fill my life with Gods Promises. This is the year of freedom, I am standing and believing that every impossible situation with prayer will be met Gods way. These words God gives us to declare we will not accept what Satan is trying to do. Take Authority over him and the enemies he is using to plant Fear in us. Gods words are two edged swords to fight any and all who try to push evil agendas on us. “ Let the wicked fall- into their own nets, while I pass by in safety.” Psalm: 141-10 Prayer and Gods words are solid ground. Be blessed God is the only one who controls LIFE!

I’ve seen my husband suffer all of our marriage with pain. Now he has Myelodysplastic Syndrome/Acute Myleoplasia Leukemia from Camp Lejeune water contamination while serving in the Marines. He is a man of God so he would never consider suicide or assisted suicide. Sometimes we talk about how much some people suffer and we have empathy. We say that without Jesus we could understand why people want to go that route. It’s so sad. My heart hurts for them.

    Thank him for his sacrifice Nelda. Thank you for yours too, in him serving our country, the family of the soldier sacrifices too.
    This RN whose mission is to care for people with Jesus’ love hates with every fiber of my being, euthanasia. Literally swallowing the lie to choose death over life.
    My younger sister suffered terribly with ovarian cancer. In the last 3 weeks of her life she asked me to help her end the suffering. Through tears I told her I couldn’t do it.
    ‘What’s the point of going on? Why is He making me suffer?’
    I said ‘As long as you have breath, you can praise Him. You honor Him-by breathing, by trusting Him even when we don’t understand.’
    We cried, hugged. Then I said ‘ I don’t know why He is allowing it but when you get to heaven You can ask Him.’
    She’s been Home 31 years now, walking those streets of gold, cheering us on in that great cloud of witnesses.
    Our gracious, merciful Creator still asks each of us to chose life or chose death and I for one will keep choosing life, because of The One Who IS Life!

As a Canadian citizen, and one with an aging parent, I can attest to this wickedness within the nations health care system. My own parent has had doctors try to talk her out of surgeries and other life improving procedures due to her age. Our family is blessed by having several doctors and nurses who know the Lord and who have intervened as advocate -and even surgeon- when the system was advocating death! May the people of Canada be freed from this demonic tyranny! His dominion from sea to sea!

If the Country does not value the life of the unborn, then why should they value the life of the elderly?
We are already heading in this direction as I watch how medical treatments are silently being withheld to the elderly.

    Totally agree Connie. We are definitely on the same slippery slope. Killing the unborn, transgendered surgery on children, and increases in medically assisted suicide nationwide are not restricted to Canada.

      The Democratic party is the party of death. May they be obliterated. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.

Some religions believe life is sacred in any form. If someone has a terminal disease, the person has their wits about them, and the doctors concur, why prolong the suffering? When you see someone you care about bed bound for two years without sight, mental capacity, hearing or any other functionality but to exist as a piece of furniture would, then the concept of prolonging such a life seems comparable to cruel and unusual punishment. I’ll add that this particular person was an ardent, life-long Catholic. Even she would say enough is enough at 96 years old if she had had the ability to do so. Place enough protections in any system to protect the vulnerable from grasping relatives, but don’t expect the medical industrial complex to come up with miracle cures for those who cannot be helped.

    Rick, palliative care, similar to hospice care,, is all about honoring, caring for the terminally ill and chronically ill, to provide comfort care, help them do whatever they need to do, make amends, finish up whatever ‘business’ needs to be accomplished before leaving the planet with as few regrets as possible, to make the most of everyday.
    I really do agree, we should honor people, not use medicine to prolong suffering, but don’t swallow the lie and actively murder them either.

Our lives are not our own to take. God created us for a purpose,
First and foremost, to glorify Him. But we were created with a choice to choose Him or not. We also have a choice to obey Him or not, regardless, His purpose will prevail for He works all things together for good; for those who love God and are called according to His purpose.
God designated a day for us to be born and a day to die. Remember, we are fearfully and wonderfully made and He has a plan for our lives. Ps. 139: 14-16.
It is not God’s Will for us to choose the day or way to die. This is God’s sovereign right.
If folks knew how much God loves us,
what He has sacrificed for each of us,
and who they are in Christ they would know how special they truly are in God’s eyes. We are His sons and daughters.
Lord, I pray the knowledge of Your truth be supernaturally spread to all folks and allow your great love to seep into their heart of hearts so they can truly know Your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. For every knee shall bow, every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Our country doesn’t value the unborn,so I’m not surprised. I train service dogs for the disabled, and I can already see how our government would use this to create a population of people that is less of a burden (as they think) by using euthanasia.
It’s already happening in Canada. A war veteran was offered government assisted suicide, when her equipment she needed was unavailable. We need to pray like we never have prayed before. This is the midnight hour.

We as a Nation under God MUST repent of our lack of attention of what we allow to “slip past our attention and do nothing because we no longer have children in school!” Listen up, GP; you have a responsibility to uphold God’s requirements as Christians yet even human beings to protect the future generations not yet born! Contact your congress men and women; insist that they take action; put strong language into the law for 1% of population to cease and desist in their activity against our children! God gave children parents so THEY could teach them and guide them into a productive adult life!
With God any thing is possible! He will heal our Lands!

    Wake up! Listen up! Suit up, in the armor our Poppa God custom fits to each of His children! And take a stand where He plants you….
    Thank you Jesus for calling me, all us mes, to such a time as this, help us be found faithful.
