I Prayed have prayed
Father, we ask You to continue to expose the truth about the fraud in Minnesota. We ask You to guide the Trump administration as it investigates this state, and we pray for both justice and accountability.

As stories of fraud continue to come out of Minnesota, the Trump administration has taken a drastic step. On Friday, the U.S. Department of Agriculture announced it was cutting all federal funding to the state.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

From the Daily Wire:

In a letter to Gov. Tim Walz and Mayor Jacob Frey on Friday, Rollins cited the $250 million Feeding Our Future fraud case that led to 78 people being charged as one of the main reasons for stopping the funding. Specifically, the letter noted how the scheme for the fake children’s meal charity that took advantage of COVID-era funds abused the Child and Adult Care Food Program and the Summer Food Service Program, according to the letter.

“Enough is enough! The Trump administration has uncovered MASSIVE fraud in Minnesota and Minneapolis—billions siphoned off by fraudsters. And those in charge have ZERO plan to fix it,” USDA Secretary Brooke Rollins wrote. “Today, [USDA] is SUSPENDING FEDERAL FINANCIAL AWARDS to Minnesota and Minneapolis, effective immediately, until sufficient proof has been provided that the fraud has stopped.”

“No more handouts to thieves! Time to drain the Minnesota swamp and put American taxpayers first,” she added.

Fraud has saturated the headlines coming out of Minnesota for months now. In November, a shocking report revealed that the state’s Somali community had stolen billions in taxpayer dollars, sending some of those billions overseas to foreign terrorists. Since the release of this initial report, more and more damning evidence has come out showing just how bad the fraud situation in the deep blue state is.

The USDA is not the first department to take issue with Minnesota. The Daily Wire notes that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced last week it would audit Medicaid receipts and defer paying fraudulent claims. The HHS, FBI, and DHS have also gotten involved.

This fraud has had disastrous effects on the state and its leaders. Though he did not cite it specifically, these allegations of fraud likely contributed to Minnesota Governor Tim Walz’ decision to drop his reelection bid. Additionally, Representative Ilhan Omar, a Somali lawmaker currently serving as one of the most controversial lawmakers in the House, has also faced accusations of corruption over her ties to many of the state’s fraudsters.

The USDA’s decision to withhold funds isn’t the first federal action taken against Minnesota, but it is arguably the most drastic. Let’s pray that this decision will help expose corruption and bring justice!

Our President is certainly talking action against corruption. We all need to pray that WHEREVER such corruption is found, that those exposed will repent; and that those who find the corruption will work to graciously redeem the situation, knowing that they too (like all of us), have within us the same inclinations towards evil.

God alone helps us as we abide in Him
